This was a good week, Its was my first learning experiment that an under watered plant=dry, droopy, unhappy leaves. A properly watered plant= happy smooth, fluffy, lush leaves. I hopefully won't mess up again. The presence of a missing bit of leaf indicates that a bug was enjoying being on my leaf..I had caught an elm bettle and immediately grabbed it, but it must be had lunch first. I hope it was an isolated incident. However probably a good washing/wiping of the leaves is overdue. I added the @Foxfarm Open sesame into the nutrients as I read a couple diaries that reported an increase in bud sites. I also added an additional cfl light to keep trying to bulk the middle. Ill need to start hardening off the plant as outdoor planting time is roughly 2 weeks away. I added a short video of my very basic and simple setup, for anyone anywhere to begin a grow. Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. She appears to be just starting to fade which is exactly what I'm hoping to see, meaning that she's just about used up the nutrients in her medium and all she'll be getting is straight water from here on out. I watered today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 0.75g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in roughly two weeks +/- but you never know... It always pays to let the trichomes tell you when it's time to harvest, not the breeder as they are only giving an approximate time due to the numerous factors that can affect the time of harvest. 10/10- Well, Week Seven has come, gone and we're one week closer to this girl finishing up! She's so freaking frosty now and starting to fade that she'll be testing my patience this week! I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of next week but we'll monitor her trichomes and let them be the guide... I can't wait! 🤩 I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. 11/17 Week 10 Ripley - Starting her on the Soul Peak very soon, low dose 5ml see how she takes it will reduce CocoTek on just her by 3ml/gal at that dose. Keep defoliating her gently, dozen of so leaves every day or so just to keep buds open to light. No visible problems Tara - The Beast - Ok now it officially the largest plant we have grown to date. With the pot its hitting 4 ft 8 in without 3 ft 2 in. The stretch has finally slowed to a stop and buds are beginning to quickly build... thank you God. I was really wondering what I was going to do next. Am going to have to bind her up a bit just for support tomorrow as those buds get heavy and she needs to give Ripley some room. Also cleaning the heck out of the lower end tomorrow. Keeping her CocoTek at current level with a Cal-Mag foliar every few days 1/19 Foliar Cal-Mag feed on Tara Cleaned out the bottom of Tara, first pass at least see how it turns out. Decided to put Tara on the same feed as Ripley see what happens as Ripley is building buds faster with the PK cant say that would hurt Tara, No def so may as well May be early but heck what do I know, on new ground here 1/20 So far so good, cleaned up Tara a bit and bound her up to give support and room for Ripley. Buds building nicely crap load of them Ripley doing well in the pK so will continue her protocol by slowly reducing CT and inc PK 1/21 Noticing some mag def on Tara and random Ca spots so getting a dose of Cal-Mag 3ml/gal as well as the foliar. 1/22 3ml/gal CalMag added to Tara feed reduced CT 2ml/gal Ripley on 5ml/gal CocoTek AB and 10ml/gal Peak getting her ready for flush 1/23 Going to try alternating between adding 3ml Cal-Mag to Tara's feed and foliar with same. Not a bad Mg problem but obviously one I cant ignore given its Ca as well. Ripley on 6.1 Water and 15ml/gal Peak one more day then flushing to start week 11

Start of week four and things are looking great! Girls recovered from day 21 defoliation. I’m pretty sure I did mess up and didn’t leave enough nodes, but only time will tell! Buds look delicious but not much of a smell yet

Day 64: she’s finally looking like she’s starting to bulk up. Trichomes are everywhere and she smells magnificent. Temperature and humidity levels have also been great the last week and she’s really progressing. I’m feeding her 1ml calmag, 3ml bloom and 2ml topmax per litre and she seems great other than a few tips burnt and a couple bent 90 degrees up a slightly brown ish colour. I can’t invest in a led light yet so I used what I had and added a 5000k led light around day 62 and although it’s the wrong end of the spectrum it seems to be proving great. We keepin’ it real clean with that RO water, pure as the ocean, ya feel me? Advanced Nutrients been feedin’ these queens like they on some luxury diet, and it’s showin’. Leaves lookin’ lush, no deficiencies in sight, and them stalks startin’ to thicken up like they preppin’ for the fight ahead. Ain’t no stalling in this grow, everything on the up. I’m keepin' the environment steady – temps and humidity locked in tight, like I’m runnin’ a ship with no leaks. We just cruisin’ through, lettin’ the ladies do their thing, no stress.
