Had to bend the top cola over this week as she was way too tall. She's nicely entered flowering this week. Buds look nice and compact.

Thanks for stopping by growfessors, week 4 begins. Not much to report other than I'm happy with the bud development.

Día 50 Ya tengo los 4 esquejes creciendo junto con la madre. Hice un LST muy fuerte a la madre bajando y corriendo muchas ramas para que les de luz a los esquejes. El tamaño de los troncos es muy grande. Pero si la organización que tengo pensada sale bien, se va a aprovechar muy bien todo el espacio. En una semana espero que los esquejes tengan la altura de la madre y ya empieza la floración. La verdad que me demoró mucho más de lo esperado. Pero creo que va a valer la pena. Hoy agregué micorrizas de un proveedor que hace aptas para hidroponia. Solamente me falta ir a buscar los microorganismos eficientes. Ya tuve que poner 18 litros en el depósito, dado que la planta está comiendo mucho. Ya pronto se viene la floración y va a ser la hora de la verdad. El único inconveniente es que hace mucho frío donde tengo las plantas y no logro temperaturas mayores a 24°C. De todos modos espero que no dure tanto esta ola de frío. Ya se acaba la fase de crecimiento. Día 53 Hoy hice una defoliación muy fuerte y corte de varios brotes. Ya quedaron determinados los esquejes a sacar y las ramas que van a quedar. Si siguen a este ritmo, a finales de esta semana se pasan a floración. Solamente un esqueje está demorando el crecimiento. Pero creo que va a llegar bien. Amarré hacia abajo las 6ramas seleccionadas y dejé que los esquejes se estiren unos días más. Son unos 14 esquejes que pienso sacar. Y quedarían 22 ramas. Hay 2 que no se que hacer, así que en total tengo 38 "cabezas". De los esquejes me quedo con 1 o 2 para mantener la variedad. Los pongo en tierra así el crecimiento es más lento. El resto los termino regalando siempre. Ya pronto estaré viendo cuanto se estiran durante la floración.

Venga familia que ya viene la cosecha de estas Pink Runtz de RoyalQueenSeeds , que ganas que tenia ya de darles machetazo. No veas que pinta que tienen estas plantas. Las flores aparte se ven bien resinosas, y con unos tonos muy llamativos. a sido una genética con la que disfruté mucho cultivarla, es algo complicada cultivarla pero merece la pena si eres cultivador con experiencia no te será problema cosechar. Flowering day 7 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The flowering started last week because otherwise the space in the small tent would end up being too narrow :-) Cuttings were taken from each phenotype beforehand. To change the flower, I rinsed it very lightly with clean fruits. With the next watering she gets a mix of grow liquid and bloom liquid before she only gets bloom. July 20: smoke arrived this morning to go with our heat wave. Awesome. Starting force flowering this evening. Will put plant in dark garage for 12 h darkness for a couple of weeks to initiate flowering. Already started flowering, but I really want to force it along to improve bud quality by having the buds ripen under stronger sun. In dark garage by 9 pm followed by 730 nm far red light and then out at 7 am. The far red light is a bloom booster because it initiates dark mode 2 h faster and is like getting a 26 h day. So, 10 h in garage plus 2 h from far red light is 12 h darkness and 14 h of daylight. Rock on. July 21: obvious stretch from overnight in the hot garage. Recorded as 14 h daylight with overnight temp listed as 24 C but it was easily 30 C when going into garage. Hot and smoky. Anyway, lots of misting and watering and seems to be doing great. Addded bloom nutes in top dressing at end of last week. July 22: still too hot but she’s still managing to grow. Now up to 40”. July 25: now 44” so four inches in three days. July 26: notably large stretch overnight probably grew another inch. This Blueberry Pie was always neck and neck with my other photoperiod, but she is pulling ahead in height now that flowering is starting. So far so good. Windy today and the plant was catching too much. Defoliated fan leaves in the middle so it’s not so much of a sail. Don’t really want o be removing fan leaves, but was best option. Well she keeps plumping up slowly, main cola is 7-8" taller that the main canopy, really hoping to avoid this with extra aggressive LST next time around. Taking pictures with flash on is sure a whole lot better! I'm hoping she only has 3 weeks left! Took a few leaves off that were blocking lower bud sites and preventing airflow from hitting mail cola.

Another great week, saw some great bud production and stacking. All great signs of a good yield. Increased the bloom nutrients to accommodate the plants demands during this intense growth spurt, while making sure they are balanced with a straight phd water feed to help break up any deposits that may be accumulating. When I use just water, I’ll water until I see about a 15% runoff, and test the ph of the runoff, should be within your 5.8-6.3 range. I’ve got lots of airflow keeping things moving to help prevent PM and pests. After every feed, I’ll spray a mixture of water, a drop or two of dish soap, and some type of essential oil, around the base of the pots and tent basin as part of my pest management/protection. I have yet to have any type of pests, despite growing in an unfinished basement situation. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️👊
