2/22/24 - Day 108 - ok yall harvest is done! I'm exhausted! It took about 3hrs. There were a few things that I will highlight the differences. I have tons of pictures and video to go through. I'll update later...... I'm tired! 2/23/24 - Day 109 - Everything went really well yesterday. I was able to cut the harvest time from 9 hrs last time to 3 hrs this time. Here are some of the details on this. Last time I hung each branch on its own, it took forever to use the twist ties and then to hang each one. This time i used some drying nets. The only problem with the drying nets is for sure there will be one side that is going to be flat..... it's still going to smoke the same and if it saves me 5 hrs. then I'm doing that. LOL I also decided this time not to wet trim the buds before putting them up to dry. I did remove fan leaves that had 0 THC on them, but if there was a leaf sticking from a bud and it had THC on it i left it. That also saved me some time. The bud quality was better this time around, the buds are denser and more compact. I also had almost NO popcorn buds. The last grow I had 2 to 3 ounces in popcorn schwag buds. They were tasty and great but this time around every bud was a legit contender. This could be due to having more space, I used an Auto in the box this time. I thought Autos would be difficult to control in this space limited environment, but it was the exact opposite. It's just as easy if not easier to grow an Auto in this Magic Box. I think its important to note that anything I talk about here is from my own experience, I've purchased everything with my own money and no one pays me for my reviews or details. This is such a labor of LOVE for me. They day I get a job in the Cannabis industry is the day I stop working, at that point it would just be me living my dream having a BLAST! The smell of garlic in my house is so strong that sometimes at night it weaks me up;) generally all goes perfect, they already raised huge smelling buds with 90% dark pestels. So next week should be the last, looking forward to finish them.

Explosive growth! Seems to be loving the coco. She took off week 4-5. And, alll of a sudden there were pistols showing all over her. Appears to be doin great, having fun with the daily LST she's requiring with the rapid growth. Managed not to snap any more branches off. Got a mars hydro TS100 in the tent now and she's loving it.

Very happy with the grow, big dense nugs with pleasant citrus aroma. Next grow i'll use 3 gal pots instead of 5 with FloraFlex matrix watering system. i'll separate the distance between the scrog nets further apart, so the buds won't lean on each other. Need to dial the light better next time to prevent foxtailing,

Last week wen smooth as it is supposed to go, girls are loving the conditions so its time to start feedings, for this run I’m using all in one pallets as food and just watering with Regulator ( a must in my water) and some microbiological help and iff and wen needed, only them i will complement extra N, P or K as needed. Week 3 - Day 2: Id say she's about done stretching I'll see in the next few days, I can tell the plant is diverting more energy to creating bud sites. I absolutely cannot wait these buds are gonna be sum chunkers. Very tight internodal spacing which I like I am not too worried about budrot, since I can keep humidity fairly low and plenty of air flow. My only issue is it's getting so big that my light isn't touching to the bottom of the canopy haha. I defoliated pretty heavily (no more than 30% on day 1 of week 3) I am thinking of letting it bounce back then I'm going to do one more strip of the bottom leaves and bud sites. I noticed I missed a few. But I'm gonna strip the bottom 1/3 bc no way my light will reach there. So far very happy! Day 3: Looking so good, I stripped the bottom 1/3 of the plant removed 99% of the fan leaves and smalls/larf down there. Going to be the last time I do so, I am a tad bit worried as I just stripped a good bit of leaves 3 days ago, but I felt it wasn't enough and had to go back in on it before it got to into mid flower. Fingers crossed 🤞 hoping for the best. So far I'm so happy with this grow, definently my best yet! Day 6 : Looking so freaking nice. Already getting Frost on some of the sugar leaves here on week 3. I have a feeling it's gonna be a frost monster. Hopefully a great washer 🙏 The top nugs are looking more "tight and dense" I'm thinking because it's a bit intense close to the light. I'm gonna lower maybe another inch or 2 see what it does. The buds lower have long luscious healthy hairs still a tight structure but already looking very beautiful.

Hello again, GrowDiaries family! 😎 We’ve officially entered Week 9 and the Critical is looking better than ever. I’ve been keeping a close eye on every detail to ensure a smooth transition into mid-flowering. 📏 Precision Measurements & Training • Height: Now at 35 cm (a steady +5 cm growth since the end of last week). • Light Distance: Maintaining the LED at exactly 45 cm from the canopy. • Canopy Management: As you can see in the photos, I'm still using LST clips (red and black) to keep everything leveled. This has created a perfect sea of tops where light reaches every bud site equally. • Light Defoliation: I’ve tucked and removed a few large fan leaves to improve airflow and light penetration to the lower nodes. 🌡️ Environment & Climate • Temperature: 27°C during the day and 18°C during the dark period. This temperature drop at night is keeping the plant very happy. • Humidity (RH): Lowered to 40-45%. This is perfect for this stage to prevent any mold issues while the flowers start to thicken. 💧 Watering & Nutrient Strategy The plant's metabolism is peaking; she is extremely thirsty and drinking every 24-36 hours! • Alternating Schedule: To prevent salt buildup and keep the roots healthy, I’m now alternating waterings: one with the Biobizz nutrient line and the next one with plain pH-adjusted water. • Status: The leaves show a very healthy, deep green. No signs of burn, just pure vigor! 🌿 Flower Evolution Dense clusters of white pistils are popping up everywhere, and the first "sugar" (resin) is starting to coat the nearby leaves. Hey everyone! So this week has been fairly straight forward and noticed some deficiency of calcium / magnesium that i'm in the midst of either a) do I treat it with 4 weeks left of flowering or b) do I make sure to add in kelp meal into my next grow for autonomous feeding, allow the plant to uptake on it's own. Going to go with option b since I noticed on my cream caramel grow, this deficiency was starting to show in early veg and thought nothing of it. With this being shown so late in the flowering, i'm thinking she is sucking up all the leftover nutrients before "dying off" and budding. The tent is holy stinky, i'm glad the carbon filter is doing it's job but I tell ya, watering is such a delight :) Buds are getting larger by the day..sweet skunky smell :) I count on one stock over 30 flower's that seem to be about toonie size, maybe larger, but get fatter by the day. This strain might be one to keep in the books to grow again :) Bye for now guys!

Was growing great till I got root rot in flowering. By then it was too late and lost most of her potential. Just harvested her. Learned more during this grow about hydro. I still got a ways to go. Effective quantum efficiency of photosystem II, often denoted as ΦPSII In horticultural lighting, adding 730 nm (far-red) LEDs alongside standard red/blue lights has been shown to increase canopy photosynthesis by 20–30% in several crops by acting synergistically with shorter wavelengths. However, the limitation is that excessive, pure IR/Far-red light (without accompanying red light) can trigger the "shade avoidance response," causing plants to grow tall, weak, and spindly rather than robust. Knowing is half the battle however, engineering or utilizing infrared light (specifically the 700-750 nm far-red range) is a viable method to boost photosynthetic efficiency. It acts as a bridge to allow PSII to utilize a broader spectrum of light, breaking the traditional 700 nm barrier. Extend, then multiply. UVR8-mediated signaling (often in conjunction with CRY proteins) triggers protective mechanisms that maintain the stability of the photosynthetic apparatus (including LHCII and reaction center proteins), thus ensuring that the efficiency of Photosystem II remains higher in UV-B-exposed plants compared to plants lacking this receptor. ΦPSII indictates the rate of electron transfer from water to plastoquinone, which drives the production of ATP and NADPH. There is a close link between ΦPSII and the true rate of CO2 fixation (Φ*co2), particularly in C4 plants. Effective quantum efficiency of photosystem II, often denoted as ΦPSII, represents the proportion of light absorbed by Photosystem II (ΦPSII) that is actually used in photosynthetic electron transport. It is a key indicator of how efficiently a plant is using light for photosynthesis, as opposed to losing it as heat or fluorescence. ΦPSII (effective quantum yield of photosystem II) functions primarily as a "multiplier" (a coefficient of efficiency) rather than an additive factor when estimating the overall photosynthetic electron transport rate (ETR). Multipliers are considered far more beneficial than additions because they generate exponential growth, leverage existing resources to their full potential, and create sustainable, self-multiplying capacity, rather than just incremental, linear increases. Humans, and most other mammals, rely on other mechanisms, such as nucleotide excision repair, to manage and repair UV-induced DNA damage. As such, humans do not have the direct, light-driven repair mechanism that photolyase offers in plants.

Hey Growmies! I'm thrilled to share my latest project: two exceptional grow environments, each a lush green haven with 9 plants on plant rollers. We’re employing a blend of Scrog (Screen of Green) and Sog (Sea of Green) techniques. Each plant has its individual ScroG, directly connected to its air-pot, facilitating easy mobility and care within the tent. As the Room is on the cooler side at the moment, I've set up a Solea infrared heater, controlled by an Inkbird ITC-308 temperature controller, to maintain a cozy climate. Each tent is also equipped with a Spider Farmer Cool Mist humidifier for perfect humidity levels. Initially, I planned for identical setups in both tents, but adaptation is crucial. I encountered a challenge with the UR45 lights due to their single plug and UV/IR switches. To overcome this, in Tent 1, I’ve installed two UR45 lights: one dedicated to IR and the other to UV, each managed by a Meross smart plug. The Mars Hydro app manages the light and in-line fan controls in Tent 2, though it has its limitations. The ITC-308 takes care of the infrared heater, while the humidifier regulates itself. I'm really into this setup, but I'm already thinking about upgrading to a single grow controller for all devices. Excitingly, ‘Epic Buzz’ in Tent 1 is competing in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge sponsored by Trolmaster, who has also sponsored a Tent X Controller for this tent. This addition will greatly enhance our control and monitoring capabilities in this tent. This grow season is extra thrilling as I’m collaborating with Anesia Seeds and Ganja Farmer Seeds. This Baby just can't stop grow. i wanna smoke this strain so bad so badddd. To give you an example of why i'm telling you this, check this out. i have my grow tent with the door open in my house with my infinity at maximum speed 10/10. AC ON 24/7. This days are really really hot over here and if i close the grow tent the Temp will raise up to 85%. Anyway.... 2 days ago i had a visit in home and i was a little afraid for the smell, turns that when they got here the first thing they ask for.... was the fruit that smell like that?. 😂😂 I said that i made a casquito de guayaba (that's a famous cuban dessert made from real guavas) smells very very sweet and taste asome. This plant smells like that. Like a candy or a very sweet fruit But she's taking her time and im glad of that.
