Once the connectivity issues are ironed out, the Mars Hydro inline fan will be operational, enhancing nighttime dehumidification, a critical aspect of maintaining plant health by preventing excess moisture and the issues it can bring. Info relevante: Chá aerado (ver Video) Registos/notas: 28/05/2025 - Estão a crescer de forma consistente até agora a genética parece bem estável, reguei ontem (dia 27/05/2025) e começei hoje a preparar o chá aerado para aplicar daqui a 2 dias, para desenvolver a microbiota do solo, vou inocular o solo com Trichoderma harzianum junto no chá aerado, para promover um melhor ambiente rizosférico. 31/05/2025 - Todas reagiram bem ao chá aerado, desde então não foi regada mais, aumentei o fluxo de ar e por isso coloquei alguns suportes para prevenir quedas e trabalhar a grossura do caule, deixo mais algumas fotos.

I swear every time I LST, within a few hours, they are right back covering the spots I tied down and opened up. I haven't had to give them nutes just yet because of the FoxFarm soil. I try to wait about a month before starting to give nutes after transferring them to this soil bc this soil already has so many nutes in it already. At the rate they're growing, they're likely going to be in need of a feeding very soon. Plan to top GDP2 again in a few days. GDP1 and BK I may top a 3rd time but I haven't decided. I don't want them to get so bushy that the tent becomes too small. And yes I decided I'm not going to LST GDP2. I may tie her down some for light exposure but no bending and tying down like with GDP1 and BK. More updates to come as the week goes. 6/29: I topped GDP2 one more time. I made sure I didn't FIM this time lolol. I topped all 3 new stalks which should give me 6 more, I believe. BK, I defoliated her lightly yesterday, took off a lot of the really large fan leaves. You can't even tell I didn't anything now lolol They're growing big and beautiful especially GDP2 since I've decided not to LST. I did tie down one of her branches though to give more light to other lil potential bud sites. 😍😘😌 6/30: I tested the PPM of the run off water and it's still pretty high even though I haven't added any nutes at all to any of the water I've watered them with. Only pH'ed the water and that's it. I'll be holding off a little longer before feeding them. That FoxFarm Happy Frog soil is no joke... hot hot hot...

So final week of grow. And FINALLY! My order have arrived! I leave them another week in grow Mode just to get those roots bigger. Still using only grow, power roots and pure zym by plagron at 2.1EC.

Hi Growmies~! What This Post is About Today, I'll be recording how to cultivate soil microbes at home. These microbes offer numerous benefits, and they are simple to make. How I Came Up with This Technique Since 2014, I’ve tried synthetic growing methods like DWC. While they gave quick results, I often ran into issues with consistency. Nutrients would expire during breaks, meaning I had to keep buying new bottles. I strongly felt I needed a change. A couple of years ago, after taking a break, I started to research and switched to organic growing. At first, it felt overwhelming with all the steps and prep work, but I saw real potential. After experimenting with different methods, I came across Korean Natural Farming (KNF) and JADAM, introduced by Mr. Cho. His simple, ultra low-cost techniques inspired me. They focus on letting nature do the work. While growing, I noticed that synthetic nutrient bottles were expensive, especially when trying to complete a full nutrient set. Organic growing may require more attention and can be costly when investing in organic materials. Preparing the soil in advance and top dressing with dry nutrients every other week - just these two methods were consuming space, time, and money. Indoor farming is unnatural, while organic farming is a natural approach. I had to bring these ideas together, but organic farming often seems geared toward large plots like farms. Incorporating organic techniques into my indoor garden requires a lot of effort and careful calculations. So this is one of my techniques for keeping my plants happy: supporting their daily needs helps them snap out of deficiencies quickly, allowing them to grow consistently. It took me a while to adapt this technique for indoor use. I hope this helps, guys! Supplies Needed - Potatoes: Provide nutrients and food for the microbes. - Sea Salt: Stimulates microbial activity and controls harmful organisms. - Dechlorinated Water: Allows the microbes to grow and multiply. - Compost, leaf mold, or worm castings: Contains natural microorganisms that are key for this process. How to Make (1 gallon) 1 cooked potato (about 2 golf ball-sized) 1 pinch of sea salt 2 tablespoons compost or worm castings 1 gallon dechlorinated water 1. Mix Ingredients: In a clean container, fill it with the dechlorinated water, dissolve the sea salt, and add the compost along with the mashed potato. 2. Ferment: Optionally cover the container and let it sit at room temperature for 24-48 hours. 3. Strain (Optional): After fermentation, you can strain the solution if you prefer a clearer liquid. Note: Watch the timelapse video to see how the microbes activate! **WARNING** Wear gloves if possible and/or avoid contact with open wounds How to Use IMPORTANT: Always dilute the solution before applying it to plants. - Use when bubbles form a "pizza shape" on the surface. - Dilute 5-10 ml per liter of water for bi-weekly feeding. (Test a small batch first to find the best rate for your setup.) - Once the bubbles disappear, the microbes are likely inactive. You can either mix the rest with water as fertilizer or discard it. Pros Promotes Plant Growth - Usually fixes deficiencies in as little as 6 to 72 hours. - Improves nutrient absorption, and helps plants thrive. Boosts Plant Immunity - Works as IPM: Can be used as foliar sprays (no staining on leaves). - Lowers the risk of powdery mildew and other diseases. - Helps the soil ecosystem with beneficial organisms like predatory mites and springtails. - Naturally reduces pest pressure (Less risk of fungus gnats and other pests). Improves Soil Health & Supports Composting - Quickly breaks down organic matter and nutrients. - Makes growing organically in small containers, like 1-gallon pots, easy. - Over time, soil becomes softer and richer, even in small pots. Cost-Effective, Sustainable & Eco-Friendly - No need for complex equipment like pH pens, air pumps, or other tools. - Reduces the need for CalMag, N-P-K, or micronutrient supplements (just add a little bit of sea salt to every watering). - No sugar sources needed in the soil. - Works for all types of plants—houseplants, exotics, ornamentals, and crops. This week I followed the same feeding schedule as the previous week for the first half, and today I started the flush. Harvest is expected in the next 3–4 days. The plant is clearly reaching the end of its life cycle, and with the flush I want to support it through this final phase, as it has already reached its maximum potential in terms of yield. The aroma is strong, fruity, and floral, with a scent that strongly resembles melon. The buds are rock-hard and extremely resinous. Very impressive genetics from Zamnesia. Visually, it's a rich green with purple and pink hues. I’m really looking forward to trying it.

Hello Diary, Purple Lemonade has reached its fifth week of flowering, I am now very close to harvest. I would say one more week and it will be ready for cutting. The appearance of Purple Lemonade is amazing and it would be a shame not to take a picture of her on a black background now that it is the grand finale. The flowers are hard to the touch, sticky and full of trichomes. Especially the main cola which looks impressive. This week I started checking the trichomes with a microscope and so far they are still transparent. The smell is very intense at this stage, the whole room smells of plants when I open the grow box. Watering is still every two or three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lower the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. Here is what the previous week looked like. 13/09/2024 - Day 51. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the p.H. at 6.0 and I watered all three plants on the farm with that amount. 16/09/2024 - Day 54. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 18/09/2024 - Day 56. It's the end of the 8th week, taking pictures of the plants. These are doing pretty damn good for the most part. I figured out with the green buzz the only thing in bloom that raises ppm is the base bloom and the more PK which is good to know. Also been using lower ppm for the autos and they seem healthier than usual. These pics and the video were taken on Day 36.
