Another good week. Watered them twice. I'm not planning on feeding them again. A little defoliation. I definitely think they are in the last 2 weeks before harvest. Still seeing some nutrient burn developing on the leaves. I don't think I watered enough through the whole grow! I'd love to hear opinions on this! Took some videos of the buds with an iPhone 12 at 6X magnification. Decent quality! Otherwise, still looking to successfully harvest these plants! Thinking about the next grow. Probably going to be Auto Strawberry Cheesecake and Auto Anesthesia. Peace!

Well, I should have learned my lesson from my previous grow, but I didn't :D ... instead of training this plant with some LST when she was young to keep her low, I let her do her thing, and with my 4.5 foot high tent (not including the height taken away from my light and exhaust), she decided to take off in the stretch of flowering. Inches away from my light, I decided to supercrop her on day 11 of flowering. Unfortunately I had an accident and snapped the main stalk. I taped her up and she recovered overnight, but since she has a lot of stretching left to do, I will have to continue tying her down so she doesn't keep reaching for my light. Wish me luck! :D

Hot damn this is a pretty plant, especially digging the red stems. Enormous fan leaves, tight nodes, and LOTS of em. This plant continues to impress, however, some of her daughters are blowing past her in height, surprisingly. Room is on point, mother is happy and healthy. 55 days or so till harvest:)

I did notice some fad in the leafs so I upped my nitrogen a little and it seemed to stop the problem. All in all Happy Growing

I wanted to use the flowering nutrients (I think it's the bloom nutrients) but it's been raining a lot lately. The soil is still quite saturated so I'll wait and see if it'll dry out a bit in a few days before I give it some food. So far the trichomes are more visible on both beauties. I've started to trim more of the lower and fan leaves. I would say about 1/4 of the bottom is pretty airy. Working my way up every day. It has been cold the last 2 days dipping anywhere between 10C to 15C in the evening and day time high of 15C to 18C. It's supposed to heat up (25C-28C) in the next few days but then back with some cold days again. That's the problem with Canadian Mother Nature; can't make up her mind. This will test my plants and see how they do with the ups and downs. Hopefully it won't affect them that much. I've also started rotating them in case the sun isn't getting certain parts of the plant. I'm not sure if it matters but it isn't cumbersome to do so why not. So far I've been lucky to not worry about any infestation nor abnormal leaf coloring. I usually do a deep watering only once a week if it's a normal week with no scorching hot days. There was a period of 3 scorching hot days and they definitely were droopy and thirsty. So I must have watered them 3x over a span of 7 days. Very excited to continue to see them grow into beasts!

This plant just keeps amazing me every week. Lots of healthy new growth every week. She is starting to throw out pistils now so flowering is coming soon 😀😀. I may have to tie her down some more but we will see how the stretch plays out. Onward 😎🍿🍻🌱

Hello Growmies, I'm back with some more updates from the heart of my garden as we journey through the second week of flowering! Our star plant is right on track, stretching beautifully as she enters deeper into the flowering stage. It's a delight to see her grow and evolve so perfectly. I've noticed some signs of tip burn, so I'm planning to reduce the nutrient levels even further in the upcoming week. It's all about finding that sweet spot where she's happiest and healthiest.This week saw her go through defoliation twice. Depending on her stretch in the coming days, I might go in for one more round of defoliation. Keeping a close eye on her growth to make sure every leaf and bud gets the light and air it needs. The first little bud-sites are beginning to show, a promising sign of the beautiful blooms to come. It's these small milestones that make the whole process so rewarding. At the start of week 6 Gsc and CH are going to get winterfrost for the next week than flush as they are fairly close to harvest. I will wait on WW as shes still a few weeks out.

Well my beautiful ladies are stacking on the buds and there are some really lovely buds on there the trichomes are starting to turn cloudy and there are a few Amber but they are not quite ready yet I check them religiously everyday to make sure I don't miss the optimal time to crop there are 2 I believe will be ready first so my plan is to start a 48 hour flush as soon as they give the the final sign So excited to be able to see the finish line now going to decide what plants to do next this weekend. Shes a stinker and a stunner. 👻👽💀 My watering schedule got a bit out of whack so she began eating herself a bit, but nothing a good dose of some nutes and ye old reliable, calmag, shouldnt be able to fix Watering is still 6L, 6PH, 5ml/L bloom, introduced her to green sensation this week, and a healthy dose of calmag to repair my inconsistent schedule (its magic, dont ask) did some minor defoliation of the worst evidence of my neglect that sprung to my eye. but other than that, ill just call it fade 😎😎😎 Jokes aside, she IS developting some nice colors. 😍

Sep 1: there might be a bit of lower leaf damage on WP1 after the 2 C night here two nights ago. Otherwise everything seems fine and the buds are progressing. Sep 2: removed some yellowing fan leaves that had been damaged by cold temps. Sep 3: WP1 has finally stopped getting taller and is starting to flower. Good thing too cuz the days get short pretty fast now and it will be iffy as to whether this plant will finish in time. Sep 6: Well, I spoke too soon as WP1 is still getting taller, and it grew 4 inches in 3 days. This far north, it should be flowering not vegging by early September. Oh well. Lots of insect life on WP1 (ladybugs, spider, flys, few ants even) and a few aphids so it seems to be in a balance and the plant is fine. WP2 in the city was force flowered a while ago and is progressing nicely. These are in small 5-gallon pots in an attempt to limit their size and to encourage flowering.

Ill have to update the final results in 4 weeks. Plants are still drying and I gave it my best guess.

Spiders has taken over the pot of plant C but i guess they will keep the insects away, so they welcome. Pictures from day 42. I do not think they will be ready in one month but we will see. How long do you think they have left? Im actually going on holiday in July so its a bit of a dilemma for me whether to harvest before or after and hope for rain in the 2 weeks i will be gone. Any ideas would be helpful!

Purple Ryder is growing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She loves the Agrogardens nutrition as well. She has been eating and drinking a lot. She is due for a solution change very soon. Everything is looking really good at the moment. Just waiting on the bulking to begin. Pheno #1 is getting fatter and fatter by the day although she is starting to fade out a bit. It’s a shame I had to tie her down because I swear her main cola would have been a foot long 😂She is also sensitive to light and has received slight amounts of burn and bleaching. She is the largest of the three but she has the least amount of resin and terpenes which is a bit unfortunate... She smells earthy, no banana scent or fruit terps like pheno #2. I still have about another 4+ weeks to go so that could easily change but we will see. I will try to be optimistic! Pheno #2 is a frost monster. She is completely covered in resin and trichromes. Her smell is out of this world, definitely has that banana fruity type smell. I don’t think I have smelt another strain quite like this so I’m very excited to see how she continues develop. Pheno #3 is a bit funky. She is stretching and getting bushier but she is extremely slow to flower. She has tons of shoots and bud sites. Almost every popcorn type branch at the very bottom raced to the top of the canopy. I feel like she hasn’t changed in the past couple weeks but maybe that’s just me being impatient. She is developing some interesting deficiencies but only on a couple leaves here and there. She is also somewhat lackluster compared to the other two. In my opinion she is a little dull looking... It’s odd to see how all three pheno’s are expressing different traits regardless of being grown in identical substrates with identical feeding schedules. It’s hard to say if it’s the genetics, substrate or the nutrients but I have a strong feeling it has more to do with the medium not being properly balanced. I normally would never grow with such a light substrate but DP grew theirs in a similar medium so I thought for the first time around I’d try to grow similar to their style. Next round I’m definitely going to switch it up and use the NFG or a custom soil blend I’ve been developing for auto flowers. It should be nice to see how a commercial soil compares to a homemade organic soil tailored for auto flowers. I’ll most likely run that experiment within a month or so once I get my new grow space setup. This week I’m going to lay off the nutrients and feed with some compost teas and microbes instead. In the video you can see my smaller brewing bucket. This is a mini-Microbulator along with an air stone. This allows for maximum dissolved oxygen saturation and also helps with preventing anaerobic spots in the brew. Set up a new space for future grows. So she really stretched super hard when she geared up for bloom. Over night she hit me with 6 inches of growth. Leaving my grow light far to close for the fragile new growth that was coming in. It was a lot worse mid grow week last week. I re adjusted my lighting SMH. Her tips slightly recovered but They will never fully recover. Other than that... shes stack amazing. Super bushy and LOTS of budsites. Bunch of donkey dock cola candidates. If I can stop beating em up with light intensity. She spans the full 2x2 like a beast. What an autoflower. I preventative treated her again with Dr zhymes. Shes due for another shower mid week. Got her on a solid balanced feed. I will adjust levels as needed from here. Until next update.
