Hello again, Growdiaries community! 😎 We’ve reached Week 8 (Flower Week 2), and my Critical is officially exploding! The transition has been incredibly smooth, and the plant is showing a fantastic response to the 12/12 light cycle. 📏 Evolution & Height: The plant has reached 30 cm today. The stretch is in full swing—she has gained 6 cm in just a few days! Due to this growth, the distance to the light has naturally decreased to 50 cm, which is giving the tops a great boost in intensity. The 4 main colas are developing beautifully and staying perfectly leveled. ✂️ Techniques & Structure: -Successful Lollipop: The lower pruning (defoliation) I did a few days ago was a game-changer. Airflow in the 'bunker' is now optimal, and all the energy is clearly being channeled into the top bud sites. -Fasciated Stem: The main stem is becoming a real beast, thick and sturdy enough to support the upcoming flower weight. -Visual Update: As promised, all the photos attached are from today, showing the most up-to-date progress. 💧 Watering & Nutrition: -Method: I decide when to water by feeling the substrate with my fingers to check the moisture levels accurately. -Volume: 1 Liter of lukewarm water. -Dose: Stepped up the nutrients to support early flower formation: 1 ml/L Bio-Grow, 2 ml/L Bio-Bloom, and 1 ml/L Top-Max. 🌤️ Environment (Terrace Bunker): -Lighting: My QBK1500PLUS (150W) is running at 100% with the Bloom switch ON. -Climate: Stable at 27°C (Lights ON) and 18°C (Lights OFF). **** Week 13 growth - February 27 to March 5, 2021 - Week 4 Flower ***** These girls are looking a little more different as we get further in flower. Pheno 1 is starting to swell more this week and here leaves are a nice rich green colour. Pheno 2 on the other hand has lighter leaf colour but is reacting less favourable to the amount of nitrogen and clawing down at the end of the week. It could be that she is also reacting worse to the increased light intensity this week. The frost production on Pheno 1 is also coming out more now. These two girls seems a little more reactionary to nutrient levels. Light intensity increased this week. Pushed up to 525 watts and then to 550 watts at the end of the week. This got the a little hot by the end of the week though. Working with a new light and finding the sweet spots takes a run or two. Learning how the girls grow anyway so the whole run is a lot of learning......its all good😀 Nutrients were pushed a little at the end of last week and the start of this week so backing off a bit more again. Given that they were pushed with light intensity they started showing some signs of nutrient issues. It’s good though as there is reaction time and back off to plain water feed for a couple of days at the end of the week and into week 5. Week 5 is going to be the start of the last stage of flower feed and work with that for two weeks, then stop feeding at the end of week 6........the plan so far anyway. Little more detail....... Feb 27/21 - Day 22 - big feed day - all IPP line plus silica @ 1ml, CalMag @ 1ml, Rezin @ 1.5ml, enzymes @ 1.5ml - 1650ppm and 6.1pH - 4L Feb 28/21 - Day23 - Microbe day but also added some CalMag - Natures Candy @ 1.5ml, Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal, Magnifical @ 1.5ml, Micro @ 1ml, Bloom 1.5ml, Terpinator @ 2ml - 950 ppm and 6.0pH - 3L - leaf colour almost looks light today. Mar 1/21 - Day 24 - dry out day. Mar 2/21 - Day 25 - plain water - 300ppm and 6.1 ph - 4L - light power pushed up to 550 watts today. - (too much from 16” to 20”........note!!) Mar 3/21 - Day 26 - plain water with two suppliiments - Terpinator @ 3ml, Rezin @ 2ml. - 525ppm & 6.0pH - 4L - stripped some leaves today......sticky in the middle😃😃👍👍 Mar 4/21 - Day 27 - no water added today - light power reduced today 450 watts. - been going too hard with intensity. Seeing leaf curl on other girls in the tent. - joys of diagnosing cannabis😂 - starting with backing off light and reduce ppm going in but not the ml👍 Mar 5/21 - Day 28 - hit with microbes again to help with stresses. - recharge @ 1 tsp/gal, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 375ppm and 6.0pH - 3L Moving right along we are through 4 weeks now and moving past the middle of flower.

not much happened this week. there was a lot of sunshine. a few stormy days and some rain. she is still doing well and is growing steadily and the flowers are starting to show more. she is now also getting biobizz bio-bloom

My camera doesn't quite do it justice just how beautiful this plant is. Id say moderate amount of frost if I were to guess maybe 21-22%, but the Terps are out of this world. When you walk into the grow room all you smell is dank rotten cherrys and gas. The nose has transformed and changed so many times in the past 3-4 weeks it's been incredible. Opened a palette to me I never knew existed in weed; it has a smell that's Rich in Red Fruity Wine, hash/rosin (like when you hit a rosin disposable or you smell some good fresh press), with a cherry- black cherry fruit punch forward Superboof. Truly incredible. I pray these trichome heads stand a bit taller within the next 3-4 weeks, so we can get a nice wash + press going to make sum DELICIOUS Super Fried Applez Live Rosin

Next week will flush plants with flavored extract and unsulfured Molasses. All is great!

Grow diary / germination / The new adventure begins Hello, dear grower friends! 😊 I’m back with a new grow diary and a new adventure. This is my second grow and I’m excited to try new things and improve my skills. I’m thankful for all the support and feedback I’ve received from you . 🙏 In this week’s update, I want to talk about: My setup My seeds My germination My expectations My setup My setup is still an 80 by 80 by 180 cm tent, which is a bit small but nothing else fits in my room. I’m very satisfied with it for the beginning, but I will get a Homebox for the third run because I find the zippers better processed and the inlay reflects more light. My lamp is a LUmatek 200 watt pro edition, which I’m absolutely happy with. It has great handling and processing and it gives enough light for my plants. If I get a smaller tent for a mother plant, I will order from Lumatek again 110 percent. My exhaust is twice as strong as I need it so I can keep it at a quiet 50 percent. It keeps the air fresh and the temperature stable. The temperature is around 25°C and the humidity is around 60%. I water my plants manually according to the Biobizz fertilizer scheme. I use organic nutrients and adjust the pH of the water. The plants are in Lightmix now and will move to 20 l fabric pots in Allmix when transplanting. My seeds As seeds I have this time: 1 Orange Sherbert from Barneys Farm 1 Bruce Banner 1 Apple Fritter 2 Lemon Gelato from a collaboration of Zamnesia and Kannabia These are all very special strains that I’m curious to try. The Lemon Gelato seeds were limited to 500 and I hope they will be fantastic. Of course I have conserved some for later grows. My germination I germinated the seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours and then planted them in small pots with Lightmix. They sprouted after 2-3 days and are now showing their first true leaves. They look healthy and happy, except for one Lemon Gelato seed that didn’t make it, which was probably my fault. The other one is very lively. I have them under the lamp at 18/6 light cycle and at about 50 cm distance. I water them every two days with a spray bottle and a little bit of root juice. My expectations I’m looking forward to the new challenge, especially because it’s a mix of 4 strains this time and I hope we can build on past successes. I want to improve my scrog technique and top the plants at least 3 times. I also want to try mainlining on one of them. En la semana 14 de floracion se ha hecho más notoria la sobrefertilizacion pasada, ya que las hojas siguieron su curso y se han puesto crujientes, amarillas, al punto de que las amarillas entre los cogollos las he sacado, para que no se formen moho o algun hongo que arruine este proceso largo,por ende toda la planta se ha quedado casi sin hojas, entonces me surgen un montón de dudas con respecto a como proceder en estas semanas finales, me inclino por empezar con el lavado de raíces en la entrante semana 15, para así dar el corte final en la semana 17, según lo que aconseja el banco,(suelo darle 2 semanas más de floración, de las recomendaciones q brinda el bereber, aunque en esta ocasión, no lo considero posible). También ha sido notoria la formación de la famosa, cola de zorro ,en algunos de los cogollos, (esto tiene relacion con el Stress que sufre una planta), una sobrefertilizacion es considerado algo stresante para una planta de marihuana.En otros casos la cola de zorro, también es una característica de algunas geneticas. En las fotos principales de dicha genetica se pueden observar estos detalles, pero bueno,todo va salir bien✈️😎😅👺

this is weeks 5 and 6.I topped them and trained the branches out to the side. Plus I broke one... I tried to save it but it broke again later

This strain is growing fast and flawless so far they are stretching alot more than expected and hope that stops soon running out of room after 4' tall wich is 5' tall from the tent floor was 2' only last week

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

She is developing nicely, haven’t really been doing much to her, other than tucking some leaves away. Comparing her to her mothers diary, she is pretty much on par in terms of flower development, maybe even slightly ahead, as I decreased the light distance much earlier.

Day 42- They’re all looking and smelling great. Fed with some cronk nutrients as I’ve decided to not top dress yet. So wanted to give them a little boost but no issues or complaints. Keep it simple. Just hittin em when dry and turning pots to maximize what coverage I have with the S33 Day 47- hit them with 2 molasses feedings every other day. Still no major issues, a little tip burn on all of them from the Cronk besides the BG3. She’s still green as can be but still the smallest and frostiest. BG1 is just fire. Regretting not getting more tops on her. She’s greasy and the loudest. Motorbreath is funky in her own but just more on the earthy diesel side which I still love. Hoping for a little more swelling and fade

Off to the races after the first week of veg. And the girls are looking good. They had about 24-48 hours of transplant shock but have since turned over and look perky. They never fully transitioned and all of em look like they’re turning back around. Definitely starting to see some pheno variation on one of the indicas (F6) - trademark from the Skywalker 100%. A light bluish/purpleish hue on the fan leaves. We’ll see what happens over the next week then probably just pick a day and flip. We don’t need em huge - just big enough to show off dem buds. On the hardware side of this grow, the mods to the dutchy system look to be working well. It just makes plant management easier with a full trough drain as opposed to individual drainage holes. Really, the system isn’t a concern for the most part. It’s proven time and time again how manageable a recirc system can truly be. Scaling down to smaller pots and more plants has also been a revelation of sorts around here. We used to grow monsters and now the aim is strictly proportional yields across a wider array of genetics. Been a great trip so far🤟. Couple more boring weeks of veg. And as soon as the breeding tent is cleaned up and pollen free - it’s go for blast-off👍. Background This cycle of clones represents all the potential of this F1 line of WalkerBerry OG. Bred by myself over the last couple of years. This genetic shows excellent hybrid vigour, incredibly stable nutrition requirements to date and an eclectic mix of long and short internodal spacing bu specimen. We know we have indica and sativa dominant traits spread evenly across the 6 available clones. Now it’s just a matter of seeing them run out under controlled and pollen free conditions. We’ve labelled each plant and it’s resulting seed accordingly. Once we get to the F2 run, we’ll hopefully be able to isolate down to 2-3 phenos if the bud is any good. From there, who knows. It’d be great to get to a finished, stable generation that would be fem worthy but that could be a very long way off. For now - we’ll focus on this line and see where it goes🤞🤞.

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. Week 10...The plants are looking good! Took out the microscope to look at the trichomes...Starting to get milky but still another week or two before the harvest! Started flushing the plant this week!
