Week 1 of flower is finally here. Tons of growth! One more foliar application of Chitosal this Saturday. These plants need a thorough cleaning underneath at the two week point to allow flower initiation without stress. I will be watching closely for deficiencies in laughing Buddha and blueberry. With the size of the plants a heavy feed schedule might not satisfy requirements. I see a noticeable increase in the quality of plant growing directly under the Hortilux in comparison to the mars hydro supplemental lighting. I am debating adding flora nectar to my nutrient regiment to help in the flavour profiles. I have recently added terpinator from Rhizoflora to increase resin glands on bud structure. I can’t wait to see flowers develop, am hoping for a heavy yield from laughing Buddha and blueberry

They are getting nice and stretchy. Can see some interesting growth traits between then all. Tent is a bit to crowded for my linking but they are 8 plants crammed into a 2x4 so don't know what I was expecting. They are doing well and next week I will be getting a buddy to take care of them so curious to see how they look when I get back. Made it stupid simple and feed them a bit more this week in hopes the remainder will carry on over to next week and be fine. Might also mix a bit of amendments into the stop layer so it just gets a bit more into it. nothing else to report. Temps and RH are doing well with the extractor. Place has been kinda dry so its working in the tents benefit. noticed some calcium like issues on one lead and found it odd as I amended a good amount of Ca into the soil and its only on one of the leaves. Might just be something else but something to think about while I am gone. Will get my friend to send me some pics of everything to make sure its going well. I also noticed the PH of the feed I give is around 5.1 for whatever reason it is quite acidic but does not seem to bother the plants to much. I know if I fed that kinda thing before I would have ran into issues. *Small Update, I top dressed with a bit of Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4 "found a small amount in an old bucket" and some super fly insect frass of 3-2-4 and a bit of rock dust for extra Ca and some micros. I mixed all this stuff up and gave each bucket a heaping 1tsp/5ml of the powder mix. Normally the recommended dose is 1Tbsp/15ml per Gal. and the container are 2Gal. so its getting a very light dose. This will hold it over with everything else that's in the medium. Till next next week.

Last week I talked about how remarkably similar the two Purple Haze sisters had been looking. Well... That story has changed. 😄 This week, Purple Haze Pheno B is making it very clear that she has her own personality. While her sister has developed a different structure and expression, Pheno B has settled into something completely different: She's a bush. 🌿💜 Compact. Dense. Lush. Full of life. And absolutely comfortable being exactly what she is. This is one of the reasons I love growing multiple phenotypes from the same genetics. You can give two sisters exactly the same environment, exactly the same nutrition and exactly the same light... And eventually, genetics starts whispering: "Let me show you who I am." And this girl is definitely talking. 🌱 One Project. One Environment. Twelve Unique Stories. If you're new to the diary, welcome! This plant is part of my ongoing 8×8 Adventure, where twelve different cultivars are being grown together using the 12/12 From Seed technique. No special environmental treatment. No different light schedule. The genetics are the variable. And now, eight weeks into flowering, those genetic differences are becoming increasingly obvious. That's the beauty of this project. One environment. Twelve stories. And Purple Haze Pheno B is writing hers in a very different handwriting from her sister. 🌿 The Compact Purple Haze If I had to describe this phenotype in just a few words, I would say: Compact. Bushy. Lush. She's not trying to become the tallest plant in the room. Instead, she's building herself outward. Her branches are packed closely together, her foliage is abundant, and flowering sites are appearing throughout that dense structure. Looking at her now, I can see why she has developed into such a compact plant. There is simply a lot of plant packed into a relatively small space. And I love it. She has created her own little ecosystem. Everywhere I look, there are leaves. Behind those leaves, more branches. And behind those branches... flowers. 🌸 This is a phenotype that seems much more interested in building density than chasing height. And that's perfectly fine with me. 🌸 Week 8 – The Flowers Are Taking Shape The flowering sites are becoming much more established now. The delicate little clusters from the earlier weeks have developed into recognizable young flowers, with pistils continuing to emerge from the developing calyxes. There is still plenty of time for these flowers to swell and mature, but the direction is becoming very clear. She's flowering. She's stacking. And she's doing it everywhere. One thing that really stands out in the photographs this week is just how much healthy foliage surrounds the flowers. The plant remains intensely green and full of vitality. There is no shortage of leaves here. In fact... there may be a few too many. 😄 Which brings me to what's coming next. ✂️ The Defoliation Is Coming Until now, I've deliberately allowed this girl to keep her healthy foliage. I wanted to see how she developed naturally before deciding how much intervention she actually needed. And I'm glad I waited. Because now I can see exactly what I'm dealing with. She's lush. Very lush. The canopy is becoming increasingly dense, and as flowering progresses, I want to make sure the developing flowers have enough space, airflow and light penetration. So I believe next week will probably be the right moment for some selective defoliation. Not a dramatic haircut. Not stripping the plant bare. Just a thoughtful cleanup. Removing selected leaves that are: • Blocking developing flowering sites • Creating unnecessary layers of foliage • Restricting airflow inside the bush • Sitting in places where they provide little additional benefit The goal isn't to change who she is. The goal is to help her express what she's already built. And honestly... I think she's going to shine after it. ✨ 🍃 Keeping the Plant Healthy One thing I continue to appreciate about this phenotype is the overall quality of her foliage. The leaves are broad, healthy and strongly developed. The plant has maintained excellent colour and structure, and there are no major signs that she's struggling with the demands of flowering. This is particularly important at this stage. A plant can be large and impressive while still being stressed. That's not what I'm seeing here. Instead, she looks comfortable. She's growing at her own speed. She's building flowers at her own speed. And she's maintaining her own balance. That's exactly what I want to see. 💧 Feeding for Week 8 As flowering progresses, the feeding program continues to support the plant through this important period of flower development. This week's Plagron feeding consists of: • Terra Bloom – 2.2 ml/L Supporting the nutritional demands of flowering and continued flower development. • Power Buds – 1 ml/L Supporting the transition and development of the flowering sites. • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Providing additional support during the flowering phase as the flowers continue developing. • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L Part of the flowering nutrition strategy supporting the plant as she progresses toward maturity. • pH Plus – 0.03 ml/L • Lemon Kick – 0.03 ml/L Used as required to bring the nutrient solution into the desired pH range. The current nutrient solution is sitting around EC 2.0 mS/cm, with a solution temperature of approximately 24°C. And, as always... every plant in this project receives the same recipe. The phenotype decides how she responds. 💡 Light From Above and Below The combination of the main Future of Grow lighting and the Lumiflora under-canopy lighting continues to be particularly interesting with this phenotype. Because Pheno B has such a dense, bushy structure, the additional light lower in the canopy becomes especially relevant. The upper canopy naturally receives the strongest illumination. But with a plant this compact, there are flowering sites developing throughout the interior and lower portions of the structure. The under-canopy lighting provides another layer of illumination in those areas. Again, I'm not expecting miracles. It's simply another tool in the ecosystem. And as I selectively remove some of the excess foliage next week, I'm particularly curious to see how the combination of improved airflow, better visibility of the flowering sites and additional lower-canopy light affects her development. 🌡️ A Stable Environment The room continues to provide a consistent environment for all twelve phenotypes. The wider shots show a plant that has become incredibly dense and compact, with foliage filling almost every available space. The closer photographs reveal something even more interesting. And the resin production is already becoming visible across the developing structures and surrounding sugar leaves. She's not trying to be her sister. She's not trying to be the tallest. After allowing her to develop naturally for so long, I think she's finally reaching the point where a selective defoliation will benefit the structure she's created. I'll be looking for the leaves that are doing more blocking than contributing. I'll open some of the interior. I'll improve airflow. I'll give those developing flowers a little more breathing room. But I won't take away her personality. That bushy structure is part of what makes this phenotype interesting. The goal isn't to turn her into her sister. The goal is to help this phenotype become the best version of herself. And I have a feeling that once we open her up a little... She's going to surprise us. 💜 Different Doesn't Mean Less One of the biggest lessons from this 8×8 Adventure continues to be that there isn't just one definition of a great plant. Purple Haze Pheno A and Purple Haze Pheno B may share the same genetics. They may share the same room. They may share the same nutrients, lights, irrigation and environmental conditions. But they're telling different stories. And that's exactly what makes phenotype hunting so fascinating. Pheno B has chosen a different path. She's compact. She's dense. She's incredibly lush. 21.07.2024 we finaly had a sunny week with a nice day and night temp. The camper berry look have nicely recover from the last week lack of sun. with this better condition the 300ppm nuts solution was just fine. as the roots has show nice developement they wiil hit their final dwc setup tomorow.

Hello folks 😎 Welcome for the first week of flowering ( 45 days veg )✊ they reacted well to the transition to 12/12 day/night just the little one begins to show signs of deficiency but it makes sense given the size of the pot ( 6L) Still no nutrients, just rhizotonic with aprox 4.5 liters of water every 5/6 days At the end of the week (day 7) I swaped the MH 400W with my new kit the Hellion 600 / 750W DE-HPS, in my opinion it's a must have if you're a fan of HPS 💪 See you next week Peace Love & Weed GD Fam😍👊

We chopped down the plants. Now they hang out to dry in the tent. The Trichs looked very good. Some milky, some amber, hardly any clear. Just the way I want it. The popcorn buds were rather milky. So we have more of a couchlock effect on the head buds and the maximum THC on the popcorns. I'm really looking forward to the taste💚

09/21 Got hit hard with a storm last night had em knocked over a couple times had to pen em against the garage to keep em up. They are definitely leaning and looking beat up one top branch broke off big pot. The smell is loud this morning though not both the small pot just smells green to me and not really terpy the big pot though at several feet away u can smell a sour milk kinda funk and as u get closer it gets sweeter and on a nug rub it's super sour and candy funk love it. I'm buying bamboo today to build support around em to finish the season strong hopefully went ahead and fed em both 1150ppm. 09/23 watered both this morning 09/24 fed em both 1150ppm 09/25 watered both. Gonna start letting em drop before watering to give a little sprout stress in the last couple weeks. Plus they should start drinking drastically less now. 09/26 got home from work to both of em being droopy so fed 1120ppm

Sunday, July first was the start of week 5. Having slight issues with the mothers but the clones are doing awesome! So even if they die I have 17 more tries, lol. LSD Zamnesia Tripping 🙂 | Final Report — Cure, Smoke Review & Closing The Chapter Well… Here we are. The final chapter of this LSD journey. And honestly, after everything: * from seed, * to flower, * to harvest, * to drying, * to trimming, * to washing, * to temple balls, * to curing, * to finally sitting down peacefully and actually enjoying the medicine… …I can honestly say this run became something much bigger than just “growing weed.” This became a full experience. A full learning process. A full journey. And before diving into the smoke review itself, let’s do one final recap for everyone arriving here for the first time. These girls were grown under 12/12 from seed from the very beginning. No long vegetative stage. Very little training. Almost no aggressive manipulation. Mostly allowing the genetics to express themselves naturally while we simply guided the environment around them. And throughout the entire run, these plants surprised us constantly. Huge central flower development. Massive stacking. Incredible resin production. Beautiful terpene expression. And honestly… some very unexpected structure for indica-leaning genetics. This harvest was divided across several reports because there was simply too much happening to compress everything into one single update. We wanted to properly document: * harvest, * drying, * trimming, * curing, * fresh frozen preparation, * washing, * temple ball production, * extraction evolution, * and finally the smoke review itself. GrowDiaries limits the amount of files we can upload per update, so instead of rushing through everything quickly, we decided to slow down and explain the process properly week by week. And honestly? I’m very happy we did. Because now we can finally close this chapter understanding not only how these girls grew… …but how they evolved. And evolution is honestly the perfect word here. The flowers themselves cured for well over a month, some even approaching two months now. And during that time, the transformation became beautiful. The aroma deepened. The sharp greener notes disappeared. The smoke softened dramatically. And the terpene profile became something honestly very difficult to describe perfectly with words. To me personally? This smells like: * earthy sourness, * soft skunk, * herbal spice, * and a gentle diesel layer hiding underneath everything. Not aggressive diesel. Not overpowering fuel. More like an old-school soft diesel wrapped inside earthy sweetness and skunky herbal notes. And somehow… despite not being truly sweet… it still feels sweet. Everything regarding: * freezing, * washing, * ice water extraction, * collection, * freeze drying, * pressing, * temple ball formation, * and curing… was explained in detail in previous reports for anyone curious about the full process. But now that some curing time has passed… something magical started happening. The temple balls evolved. And this is where hash becomes truly fascinating. The hash you are seeing now looks completely different from the fresh temple balls shown previously because the compounds inside are evolving over time. And that evolution is natural. At first, freshly pressed hash is often: * smoother, * more uniform, * more elastic, * sometimes shinier. But during curing: * oils begin migrating, * terpene fractions separate and recombine, * cannabinoids continue evolving, * moisture stabilizes, * oxidation slowly changes color and texture, * crystalline structures begin appearing, * and the entire resin starts transforming internally. We also have to talk about Grove Bags for a moment because they genuinely made curing extremely easy and consistent during this process. For anyone unfamiliar: Grove Bags are designed to help stabilize humidity exchange naturally while reducing the need for constant burping and jar management. Do they replace proper drying? Absolutely not. Nothing replaces a proper dry. But once the flowers are dried correctly, they help maintain an incredibly stable curing environment with much less stress and handling. And honestly? There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents...
