The plants are growing like and hell and some plants more than others. I therefore have to super-crop the plants, which is a method promoted by SOMA from SOMA-Seeds. I take the stem of the plant at appr. 20 cm under the top, directly above an internode, and squeeze it hard between my fingers. So hard that I can feel the fibers brake inside the stem. I squeeze in a circle around the whole stem and then bend the stem sidewards until the whole top of the plant is bent 90 degrees to the side or even points downwards. This way I dont have to top the plants and save the big top buds. The stem will heal and the plant will continue to grow, just at a lower height. I use this method since many years and it works GREAT. The BIO-TABs nutrients still do thier job VERY WELL, all plants have a healthy green color. The SANlight EVO4-120 LED-lamps are still hung at 75 cm distance from the top of the pants and do an OUTSTANDING JOB.

This week they proceed quickly apart from some small external climate problems still a little too cold but generally everything is ok, no problems neither with water nor with too much ferlizing .. So I can say that everything is going in the right direction! How about?

The girls have gone through a lot this week 😬After a couple of days of LST, I let them recover for a few days. Once they were looking perky again, I decided to top all three. Day 31 - topped the girls after some deliberation. I had been undecided, ultimately figured that it was best for my situation, whether or not I decide to use my DIY scrog screen. For those unsure of when to top, 5 nodes or true leaf sets seems to work for me. Find the shoot at the very top, make sure it’s got some small shoots on either side started, and snip! It’s that easy. Topping will disrupt the hormones being distributed through the plant instead of the top, and force your plants energy and growth to the lower branches. Not to mention you will now have two main tops growing instead of one 😎 Give the plants some time to recover before doing anything major again, and you should he able to see your plants get bushier instead of taller. Once they were topped I bent and worked all the stems and branches between my fingers making sure to get all of them. As you can tell from the main stalk, the twisting and bending works, she thicc already! I also put their wire ties back on and bent all three over as far as I could get them to go comfortably before feeling like they would snap. This was a lot of stress for these girls, but they have shown they have a great stress response, and recover quickly. Can’t wait till the weekend, my big tent will be cleaned and ready to go from my last harvest, they are growing so fast! Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

Added 2 videos on preparing a nutrient solution and pH balancing the solution. This week saw aggressive topping (mid week 4) and some serious leaf damage. Not sure if the leaf damage is from the topping, nutrients, etc. I did a flush and solution swap, cleaned the air stone and inside of the jar etc. Built the trellis and started training. I'll cut away whatever trellis doesn't end up getting used once flowering starts. Creepy Don Santa is watching this grow closely. That cat of his is trouble.

Clones got transplanted into my organic recycled soil in solo cups and under the dome. Under 300w LED QB dimmed at 50% Watering with tap water. My live soil is packed with nutrient's and minerals so there’s no need to add nutes for now.

So it was realy fun growing this plant, i made a couple mistakes with LST and by choosing not filling up the pot all the way. This is why the branches where too close to eachother. I will edit this post with taste and high next week.

Update Sunday... hey guys uploaded a security cam footage of the blizt storm in the GTA.... ladies survived somehow... also did top dressing at 30tbs per 15 gal of 444 and 284 gaia green organic amendments. 70/30 ratio. Watered them in with dechlorniated, pH 6.2 and 60mL of molassas to 5 gals of water. Defoilated and did some maint pruning on growth under the main canopy. God bless. Hey folks, Well I got good new and some bad news. Last weekend, these ladies got thrashed by a thunderstorm.. break some branches along the way. Had enough time to splint the bent stems and they bounced back. Note that due to the storm, the pots got watered down pretty heavy... but to my surprise I let the ride out from Monday to Friday... and regretted that. I should of watered the ladies on Wednesday or Thursday, but found out the pots where extremely dry (also probable that the fabric pots are drying the medium out allot faster). The plants started to droop Friday afternoon. Also did a little lst but didn't want to over stress the plant that still recovering from the major storm. Iv watered each pot about 8L of molasas water @ 5mL/L and see how the soil and plant respond. Im going to check on them more frequently and prevent under-watering. She seems to be a slow grower. I started a northern lights that's 12 days behind her, and it is growing about 2 weeks faster than this cheese. Wish I knew the breeder.

5/8/2023 - Day 71: Start to week 11, and this will be the final week. Watered again today with 4 gallons mixed with Coconut Powder. I'm getting close to 5% to 10% amber, so I am just about where I want to be. I plan to chop them this weekend, which will put me at day 76 or 77. The two Grand Prix could probably go I bit longer, but the Ice Bath and Frozen White Runtz need to come down. 5/12/2023 - Day 75 Flower: chopping in two more days. Dropped the temps a bit more and turned the light down one more. Normally I'd be watering, but I'm just going to let them ride it out until the end.
