End of Week 7 and finally the 2nd 250W Lamp is here!!! Tropicana Cookies going strong, the Skittlez seem to wanna grow a little more before coming into flowering. Will change the Lightning to 12/12 if it doesnt get better. Plants drank wel over 40L of Nutrients this week.

apologies for the washed out photos, didn't look as bad on my phone but now I can see it. will try to take better photos here forward under the lights. 18/6 lighting Daily Light Integral The daily light integral (DLI) you provide is 13.3 mol/m²d whereas the ideal is 12 mol/m²d. For the most part, all is well this week. Temp and RH has been very steady around 73-74 degrees and 45-55% RH. Decent growth on all four except the one plant, Apex by Ethos. The plants taproot grew up instead of down. It was a little light in color as well, I believe that it has since corrected itself and found the right path downward. I’ve been hand watering about half a gallon a day from the reservoir to make sure the roots are getting water and food. I increased the EC of megacrop to 0.8, roots are just now hitting the water with all the plants (except Apex). I’ll keep hand watering until they do. I lowered the water height to .5” below the net pots, I suspect they’ll be off to the races now. Added an air stone inside of the reservoir itself as well, to help keep everything nicely mixed at all times. PH still sitting perfect at 5.8. So far so good outside of that.

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. 2025-07-27 i started tis grow longer ago as you may see in other diaries, from the same period these ladies are mindblowing and deserve a Diary LEGEND The root idea for the strain name was the ​Father’s Choice to show respect to his father when he was testing his strain on his father’s farm. Finally, the strain got the name Chronic Ryder - the autoflowering version of the famous Chronic by Serious Seeds. By the looks of the trichomes this girl is ready I will let it go one more week because the weather forecast seems to be sunny but if anything changes to Everyday rain I would chopper her down to protect the flower. Thank you for reading and I will continue to update have a happy grow.

Fast Buds CA (still don't have a clue what CA stands for). Looking better. I gave her an overdose of Recharge and I think it helped bring some green back to the leaves. I'll probably OD her again. Nice little bud sites developing! 😃

Start of week 5 gonna hit these girls with some water ph’d a little bit higher see if that helps with the white tips but seems to be doing better Update 3/13: fed them with 1/3 of a gallon each plant with feed ph’d at 7.5 blue lab pen said my soil ph was at 5.7 causing the white tips let’s see how these girls do within the next 3 days 3/17 update soil PH has been brought up to 6.5.. all good and doing wat better end of week 5

Week 18 Day 120 (11/12/2020): I checked the girl’s trichomes and they are looking great. They are definitely getting more amber but still a small percentage. Also most of the pistils have browned now so I think she is about 2 weeks away from harvest now. So I will start the flush at the next watering! Day 121 (12/12/2020): The girl is looking good today but the leaves are going more an more yellow and crispy. Although I think during this time it is actually good news and I will be happy for her to take up all the nutrients left into the buds to make them extra tasty!🤤 Day 122 (13/12/2020)💧: Sooo this week is the start of the flush, just 1.5L of water. They are definitely ready for the flush and the buds are looking gorgeous! So gorgeous, in fact, that we cannot wait for the girls to be ready. So I cut some stems off to dry 🙊 We basically realised that they will not be ready and dry by Christmas (plus we would want to still cure them for min 2 weeks) and so I cut some of the smaller stems off to get some buds ready for Christmas celebrations 🎄 I only cut 1 stem off the girl and in the photo you can see how much smaller it is than the main buds. I’ve put the flowers into a box with holes in a room that has good airflow. I’ll also make sure to weigh and add it to the final dry weight. Day 123 (14/12/2020): Didn’t have time today to take pics of the girls but I’m sure they are fine 😉 Day 124 (15/12/2020): I swear the buds look fatter and fatter every single day that I check her. Looking great, smelling great, and will definitely taste great! Day 125 (16/12/2020)💧: Second flush of the week, great stuff. Just gave her 1.5L of water and ripped off some dry leaves. There are some stems at the bottom that are quite weak and cannot hold their weight. A lot of them have bent over and I don’t think they will get enough water to survive until harvest. At this point it is too late to cut them off but I have definitely learned to lollipop for the future! Day 126 (17/12/2020): What a great end to the week and just 1 more week to go! Buds are looking astonishing at this point. And I swear they are getting more and more red even though I thought they wouldn’t. The trichomes are developing beautifully as well, definitely harvest-ready in just a few days! And next week, I will be watering twice and probably harvest after the whole week is finished, so on Christmas day! What a great present 🎁

Week 16 - Day 103 08/16: Harvested Aaliyah on 08/15, Day 102 from soil and Day of flowering. After one week of pure water for Aaliyah, some of the trichomes have turned amber. I decided to harvest about 3/4 of the plant. Some of the lower buds didn’t receive enough light during the grow, so I’m hoping they can grow a little more before I bring the whole plant down. I also removed some of the dead and very young growth that was coming up. I didn’t have another spot to hang the buds because of the smell, so I tied them over the other plants. Now that she is mostly harvested, the smell has increased. I now have Annie on the side so she is getting less direct light. She already took some bleaching on her main colas. Alexis still has about a week left. I’ll check her trichomes before the next watering to see if I should start flushing. 08/18: Aaliyah’s harvested buds were getting close to being dry, so I decided to start cleaning up some of the sugar leaves. The smaller, less developed buds got chopped up and set aside for some dry ice hash. Since she was on the left side of the tent, a lot of her colas did not receive enough direct light. I hung up a few of the nicer looking ones that I’m keeping as flower to finish drying. [General notes: I still don’t have a scale to take note of the exact wet weight, but I’ll make sure to have one for the dry weight. And since all three plants are of the same strain, I’m going to wait till the last one is chopped up before posting the full harvesting results.]

This plant is great it survived my ph wars when ph pen broke and moving rooms and humidity temp swings. Resilient and beautiful sativa looking buds I really like it

1m2 Grow Tent Humidity - 70%{ram 5L) Temp- 30 degree's (120w tube heater) 1x EcoXL Co2 bag GAS ENVIRONMENT CONTROLLER. Day 1 of the diary 26/09 Manifold and yield it the focus of these two. Successfully mainlined my other tent (practice).now time to show off the skills. Repotted into 5gal pot yesterday from seedling pot. Day 3 - watered 2.5ltrs per pot -Topped, now have 4x nodes. Day 4 - G. A. S controller installed.

Finally getting some sugar! They are taking their time. Should be ready after 9-10weeks but I think they need at least 2 weeks more

2nd topped on day 20 and she is reacted well to HST, she is too busy with growing, there is no time to get stunted. I give her 1/3 of the feed schedule’s recommendation. Soon I will switch to bottom feed. DLI has been set to 30. Day 26 - today I installed the Megapot system. She has been transplanted from a 5 gal bag to a 6 gal one, it was quite a torture I must say. More stress for the plant. I had to do this for the better drainage. Was it a stupid move? We shall see.

Notes for flower week 8 Watering Days. All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio, or combination, of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates. These are/will be DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added-in larger, then smaller, ratios while the "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 3. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5. Day 120/50 (last feed was day 117/47) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Fed 3 gallons of purified water (starting with 17ppm) mixed with 699ppm of 100% Bloom Mix Concentrate. Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am still using 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 3.0ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to the feed then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 7.35 (7.4 last feed). I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. (a practice I am making a new feeding standard for all my plants) I got ~15 cups of runoff (~20 cups last feed). Higher runoff volume was expected with the feed volume increase, might let her go to 4 days and 2.5 next feed. It could be a result of the knitting needle treatment when feeding. Runoff was tested at 6.15ph and 2010ppm (6.10ph and 2070ppm last feed) - again thinking it could be a result of the knitting needles. Top soil tested at 6.65,6.48,6.6,6.81 for an avg of 6.635 (6.372 avg after last feed)- next feed will be 7.0ph again as I'm still liking where the ph is finally going, but rather see it closer to 6.3 or 6.4 top and bottom. I dont see any issues with the feed's data other than the possible calcium deficit and I will continue to monitor runoff ppms as I expected this to be lower with less runoff but have to consider they maybe washing out salt with the knitting needles. Next Feed should be 2.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water ph balanced to 7.1 in +4 days (124/54). I expect I will run 700ppm and 2.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) again, but expect that to be my last large feed before harvest around Christmas. Day 124/54 (last feed was day 120/50) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Fed 3 gallons of de-chlorinated tap (starting with 251ppm) mixed with 709ppm of 100% Bloom Mix Concentrate. Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am still using 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 3.0ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and 45ml of Roots Organics HP2 (0-4-0) to the feed, then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 7.13 (7.35 last feed). I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. (a practice I am making a new feeding standard for all my plants) I got ~27 cups of runoff (~15 cups last feed). Higher runoff volume was expected with the feed volume increase as well as previous knitting needle aeration. Runoff was tested at 6.21ph and 2100ppm (6.15ph and 2010ppm last feed). Top soil tested at 6.57,6.41,6.3,6.39 for an avg of 6.42 (6.635 avg after last feed)- next feed will be 6.8ph as I'm still liking where the ph is finally going. I dont see any issues with the feed's data other than the possible calcium deficit Next Feed should be 2.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water ph balanced to 6.8 in +4 days (128/58). I expect I will run 400ppm and 2.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) again, but no more HP2. I expect to start flushing her out with lower nute levels from that next feed point.
