Couldn't have asked for better weather these past months. Also, the NL that hit the top, is she just gonna put her energy into other buds? or will the main bud keep growing and deform a little?
wouldn't recommend growing this strain honestly, for me the yield is just way too small. I'm sure you could get bigger yields from this strain. though my other plants are doing way better under the same circumstances. the buds smell and taste really sweet. the buds really don't look too dense but still pretty frosty.
I'm growing three northern lights plants, this is the first one. about 60cm, she grew under the worst conditions but still managed to produce 64grams. good strain. nice mellow high. posting this on week 15 because it only lets you do one harvest report per strain✌️
very rainy weather past weeks. happy with all the bud I still got from the Autoduck. she grew under minimal sunlight and still produced a fat bud, imagine growing her indoors.
This strain grew under very little sunlight, she still managed to produce some nice buds so I'm happy with the results. i'm sure the yield could be al lot bigger tho. might give her another shot next year.
I chopped NLXL#2, wanted to wait a week more but didn't want any more rain in the buds causing rot. I found mildew on the lower parts of the plant, cut away every bit i could find. hope it doesn't return.
NLXL#3 still doing good. tho some of her leafs turned yellow, some deficiency?
I'm surprised by how good Northern Lights XL #2 turned out. The full weight will probably be about 120g. Can't wait to smoke it when it's done curing. I'll update on the smoke and the full weight of the 3 plants when they're all finished., Too bad it won't let you create multiple Harvest weeks per strain.
yields very well for an autoflower. because the plant grows like a bush, you might get some mildew on the inside if you're growing in humid conditions like I am. The smoke is relaxing and stoney just like you'd expect from Northern lights. The nugs are very dense.
I grew 3 plants of this strain. the first one started flowering after 8 weeks, the third one started flowering after 18! They all yielded pretty good tho:
NLXL#1 - 64 grams
NLXL#2 - 212 grams
NLXL#3 - 150 grams0
@ToadieK, Yea I noticed the ph was a little low. Think I'm gonna try to up it with some limestone powder, hope that'll get rid of the yellow/brown leafs.
@Pieter710, You're growing in soil, so I would try to get the ph into the 6.2-6.9 range. Uptake of phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, and molybdenum are all affected by low ph.
