Last two weeks have gone well for her. She will be unleashed finally in the next couple weeks if weather permits! I can only imagine what she is going to do once her roots can spread. I predict a massive size increase once she is put into the ground. I know she will have to be supported after about a month outside so it will grow without problems. Don't want her to snap her own branches because of awkward wait placement or because her buds become too heavy. Plants definitely produce better when they have supports for the buds/ branches. Allows them to stack on bud instead of putting energy towards holding itself up. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

Week 19 and it happens to be a rainy week with on and off cloud coverage which was actually beneficial to my plant but the humidity has been up due to the fact I also use a swamp cooler and if it's gonna be this humid for another couple days then I'm worried about mold developing on the buds so i think I'll break out the AC to get rid of some of that moisture in the air and maybe alternate between the two. The AC hasn't been used once the whole grow cycle so far but living in AZ we get random storms from the monsoon season not to mention tons of dust, high winds, flash flooding which could be used to flush my plant because it needs it now if rain builds up around and gets under the green house, j/k lol. I've been thinking about buying lady bugs to get rid of all the white flies, any experience anybody, would that work? After writing the above, I could hear the wind picking up outside and remembered that a storm was coming so I ran outside to prepare and it punched it's way through Phoenix with extremely high velocity hurricane type wind, gusting up to whatever it takes to bring large trees down or make a wooden shed door fly off with a wall of dust to the sky and then finally finishing with heavy rain. I was outside the entire storm from beginning to end, well at least until the wind died down and it was just light showers by then. Even with having my greenhouse tied down I had to hold onto it for dear life or it would have taken off like in the wizard of OZ. Honest to god I was almost pulled off the ground or several times more onto my greenhouse when the tsunami type wind would hit, pounding me and the greenhouse from behind having to pull down while leaning back with all my weight and strength.The whole time I'm screaming for my brother who was inside to come out and hold the greenhouse so I could tie it down better because it was just coming apart trying trying to fly away or be ripped apart as storm hit us I was holding on for Amy's Green Drop's dear life. It was pretty insane and wish I had video of me doing it but just have a video a friend sent of his backyard getting hit so you can imagine that wind hitting my greenhouse. The after math was bad 😭 the wall of the greenhouse was getting hit so hard by the wind making it press inward towards plant it snapped off in the middle one of the lower branches making the two buds on the end half hanging there from a 90 degree angle from branch so I knew there was no way to support it back in place enough to heal itself so I clipped it off and started drying it. One other next to it got bent up pretty bad so I'm trying to LST it back to place. The storm also killed my swamp cooler somehow, I guess it's because it has a lot of electronic components on top that was soaked from the wind the rain came from the side, I know, you'd think a swamp cooler could get wet. Now I'm stuck using only my A/C and a humidifier to control moisture and temp and I'm worried it's gonna be pretty hard only using AC in such a small greenhouse as it takes time to find the right ratio of intake and outtake air but can only open greenhouse to mix in so much hot dry air, so starting it was getting down into the high 60's, and I have to figure something out because I can't let it get that cold in there for the last few weeks. I'm almost ready to call it quits If I can't find an equilibrium with AC and humidifier, and if there are anymore storms on the way. Next time I'm getting a bigger sturdier greenhouse that goes into the ground and has hard clear walls and roof, other than the recent storm and excessive sunlight finding the right shading it's been very beneficial doing the indoor/outdoor combo grow and would recommend it as you can live in any weathered extreme hot/cold climate and still grow outside,

The Colombian Jack has some monster sized colas growing. Conical buds at the top 3-6 inches wide with side nodes filling in. So I took a little tumble onto her this week. Trying to snip a few old fan leaves off the top before taking pics, and sometimes I forget my high cfm bars are not load bearing. Luckily with the two nets in place, the strength of the plant and me slowing my fall. I only managed to only spread out the colas better!,and I broke a branch in the back. but over all I think i may have benefited the plant more than hurt it because it was so dense. After I fell on it it pulled the bottom net and got the colas to spread out more. i grafted the one branch and it should be okay ,it did get quite sticky in this ordeal and I smelled like I murdered a skunk with a pineapple ,but she should recover fine. Maybe even put out more resin since she probably thinks she got attacked by a bear. I switched the lights to turn off 30 minutes sooner at the beginning of the week to help them transition. So 11.5/12.5 schedule this week. Following week is going to be dropped another 30 minutes to 11/13. I also want to start getting the temperatures a considerable amount lower than what they have been so that I do not off-gas my terpenes and negatively affect the potency and flavor. I been battling the humidity, with the plants drinking 6-8 gallons ever 2-3 days. I'm hoping reducing the light intensity as well as the duration will get them to drink a little less, and I can keep my vdp better in check.

4/30 one of the plants has actually visibly stretched more in the last 48 hrs. Starting to impress me with the pistols. Still way smaller than their projections online but whatever 🤷🏽‍♂️ 5/4 end of the week and I’m pretty okay with their size now 😂 they went through a sizable stretch. I’ll have to get my measuring tape back in the tent because each time I’m adding to this diary, I question whether I’m on the right week or not because they look like dwarfs compared to the end of the week

P30: Smoked some Spliff Dutch Auto at night and feel a bit creative, that's what came up of photoshop and P26 & P27 photos ;). -----WEEK SUMMARY----- I don't know if this is normal in a growing stage, but Alice K. has started to lovely stink all my home, it's awesome how she's smelling without any flower or pistil on her. I can't imagine how much is she going to smell. Finally I bought some lights and a background system to learn to make dark background photos, I purchased a normal bg system @amazon with 3 x 2x3 m backgrounds and the support system, it's too big for my living room haha!, also purchased a pair of LumeCubes with all the accessories, they are super versatile lights and awesome for my needings, I'm sure that there are similar performance lights even equal, much much more cheap, but I liked these for various reasons, if anyone is interested just ask me. Along the week I didn't have much time to full test the lights, I was only able to perform some quick tests. Along the weekend I expent some more time, and something is begin to came out of my camera ;). As you can see on timelapse video, at the end of the week the plant is already fixed to the final 12 points as I told last week, and is already covering all the horizontal space available in the tent. At time I'm not going to make more prunes or toppings as I like the structure she's getting. I still feel that the horizontal branches that are going to support the plant are too slim, so I'm planning some more weeks of growing, until I see them enough strong to support themselves. This was a terrible mess. Until this week I've been watering with very high PH without knowing it. The PH meter I was using was not well calibrated and I thought so, before yesterday (Week 7) I recovered my PH tester and when I measured I was impressed because I have been watering at PH 7 ~ 8, while I thought I was using PH 5.8. Luckily, things have not going ugly, 💯 for the AK. About temperature and humidity, this is the last week of imbalance in my cultivation system since it is strongly linked to outside. As September enters, immediately the temperature and humidity stabilize itself inside my tents, so it's time to run the 90x90 one ;). This week I also applied a foliar irrigation with a bit of organic insecticide "Tec-Forte", just for prevention. I killed a white Spider 2 or 3 weeks ago and also observed som insect white spots in one leaf, after that I did 2 foliar irrigations along last weeks with B.A.C. "Plant Vitality Plus", "Foliar Spray" & "Pro Active", and I haven't seen any more sign. Al fin esta semana me he decidido a comprar unas luces y un fondo para aprender a hacer fotos con fondo negro, el fondo he comprado uno normalito de 2 x 3 m, aunque me queda muy grande en el salón de casa, de luces me he comprado una pareja de lumecubes con los accesorios, son una luces super versátiles y excelentes para mis necesidades, seguro que hay cosas de rendimiento parecido o igual y mucho más baratas, pero a mi me gustaron estas por varios motivos. Si alguien está interesado que me pregunte. Durante la semana no tuve mucho tiempo y sólo pude realizar unas pruebas cortas. El fin de semana me puse un poco más a fondo y ya empieza a salir algo decente ;). Como se ve en el vídeo semanal, al final de semana ya he atado la planta a los tres puntos que comenté la semana pasada y ya está cubriendo todo el espacio horizontal disponible en el armario, por el momento ya he acabado los cortes y las podas, no tengo planeado realizar más a no ser que lo vea necesario. Sigo teniendo la impresión de que las ramas son quizás un poco delgadas aún por lo que planeo unas cuantas semanas de crecimiento más, hasta que engorden y las vea capaces de hacer buenas colas y resistir su peso. Hasta esta semana he estado regando con el PH alto sin saberlo. El medidor de PH que usaba no estaba bien calibrado y yo creía que sí, antes de ayer (Semana 7) recuperé el mío y al medir me quedé impresionado pues he estado regando a PH 7~8, mientras yo creía estar usando PH 5.8. Menos mal que las cosas no se me han puesto feas. Con respecto a la temperatura y humedad esta es la última semana de desequilibrio en mi sistema de cultivo ya que está fuertemente ligado al exterior, ya entra Septiembre y enseguida se estabilizan la temperatura y humedad solas. Esta semana también apliqué un riego foliar con un poco de insecticida orgánico "Tec-Forte", solo por prevención. Maté a una araña blanca hace 2 o 3 semanas y también observé algunas manchas blancas de insectos en una hoja, después hice un par de riegos foliares durante las últimas semanas con B.A.C. Week 11 started, I was hoping for a harvest soon, but looking at buds and comparing to other growers, seems like plants arent quite ready yet. Will harvest at end of week I think. So week 11 has ended, I got myself a better microscope mid-week, looking through microscope and comparing whats written on the internets it looks like it still isnt quite ready. Perhaps I'll go for an early harvest, what could go wrong? Will wait few days to decide if want to harvest at next week start or wait much longer. First grow, zero experience. :D

Week three is here and it has been pretty damn warm. Some leaves are curling on the edges but overall not too bad. Thankfully, it is starting to cool down a little bit

Couldn't wait for new pots to be delivered so I used a couple old ones I had and improvised with the other 3 and made some from instant noodle pots 😋 I vacuumed and disinfected every inch of the tent today before I put the little ladies in there, I have to say it is much brighter now...didn't realise how dusty things could get! Hopefully removed all traces of pollen. I'll mist/spray these regularly with water as a precaution.

So far 44 grams total dry weight of flower. I have 1 zkittlez girl left. Smoke is amazing and the sedating effects come after the peak. Overall great looking and tasting bud.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Day 23: -Seeing great growth from the little girl, true leaves developing, and slowly burying the stem over as she grows. Showing great resilience so far, and nice rich colour to her leaves 😁 Feeding every other water still. Day 25: - feed today, a nice 2.5L to moisten up the 3gal she's in, no run off, she's very happy and healthy. Day 28 - (end of week) showing good progress this week above soil. Seeing better growth on leaves and now seeing nodes. Beautiful 😍 Began lst today, minor pull back of main stem to allow better light penetration, also I believe that the technique of burying her stem as she grew did add abit of stress, but not enough to impact as her main stem is already looking thicker and I'm under the impression by doing this it will allow for a better stable plant as in being able to hold itself more. We will see 👌✌️💚
