~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 2/2- Here we go Week Nine! These ladies are past the 60 day mark since breaking ground and are in the home stretch! The 2 phenotypes are about equal in flower development. Their flowers are densely stacked and have a beautiful purple and pink hue contrasted by numerous bright orange pistils that are showing. The #2 is a beast with wide spread branching and plentiful bud sites! The #1 has had her issues and is a markedly different phenotype, but she's LOADED with some absolutely phenomenal flowers! It never fails that all the plants I've grown that experienced some sort of major issue have all turned out to be stellar! I'll keep rubbing my rabbits foot! 😎 Daily watering with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which is ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ continues as these girls stay thirsty! 2/4- Yesterday I watered today with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. I also removed some shade leaves that had begun to yellow and checked trichomes on the #2... not yet. 🔎 2/6- This evening I put the #1 phenotype in the dark after checking her trichomes which were right where I want them at this point. She'll spend 48-72hrs in the dark with a fan on her and I'll also maintain the moisture in her pot so it doesn't dry out. I watered today, removed some shade leaves from the #2's canopy and turned her pot. The 2202 testers really look absolutely AMAZING and I can't wait to see them when they finish up! 🤩💚 2/8- Well, the #1 is hanging peacefully drying slowly at 64℉ @ 60% RH and should be ready to trim in 6-8 days +/-. The #2 is absolutely beautiful with her purple coloration getting more pronounced as she fades! I'll be putting her in the dark in the next 2-3 days to spend 48-72hrs before she gets cut and hung! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Sigh. 😊 Drying in cardboard boxes now, I usually hang two branches in a box, with air holes. And I have one box with a net chucked inside, for the smaller parts. No popcorn with the Caramelo. 😋 Took me half an hour to trim her. After 5 days, I will put the nuggets in a jar to check the remaining humidity. I will leave the jar closed for 12h and then check. If the humidity has risen above 70%, the nugs will be put in a salad bowl to dry over night. 2nd topped on day 20 and she is reacted well to HST, she is too busy with growing, there is no time to get stunted. I give her 1/3 of the feed schedule’s recommendation. Soon I will switch to bottom feed. DLI has been set to 30. Day 26 - today I installed the Megapot system. She has been transplanted from a 5 gal bag to a 6 gal one, it was quite a torture I must say. More stress for the plant. I had to do this for the better drainage. Was it a stupid move? We shall see.

I'm very pleased on the way she's growing. Seems like a healthy lady. I can't wait to see the nugs she produces

Finished, plant smells intoxicating sweet and fruity, i also found a clear fragrance of chocolate. Smells do delicious, cant wait to taste the first fresh cured buds. I had some mildew, i immobilised it with uv-c light, killing the fungi and spores.

This week was all upgrades and preparing for a 2 week vacation where my gf would need to take care of the plants but that would end to almost killing all of them lol stay tuned.

Really excited for these I got a 3 pack grew the extra 4th one and now growin all 3 of the rest at the same time I can't wait to see what theybbring the first one was incredible

D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-22C light OFF - no water - RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 19-20C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7 and 680PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 560PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 47% light ON ; 48-53% light OFF D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: PH6.2, 123PPM, less then a gallon each - run off: PH7.4 and 200PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.4 and 287PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: less then a gallon each - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong. - temp: 22-23C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 47% light ON ; 43-45% light OFF

Moby2: Sigue a su ritmo crecen sus ramas y su poda FIM continua su proceso me gustaría poder hacer otro trasplante en esta Moby2 quizás recicle un poco y no la pase a una maceta de muchos mas litros esto lo haría para controlar su crecimiento y usarla como madre de otra tanda e esquejes.

Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are right on time for a small adjustment in lighting, PH and nutrients. 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) and the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work. Starting at a PH of around 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Cheech is taking nicely to the adjustment in light and nutrients, but CG 1 is looking a little bit too perky. Going to give her 24 hours to adjust. Day 10 - We have finally renamed CG 1. Fellow enthusiasts, meet Venezia. Day 12 - The root systems are clearly visible in the ladies today Day 13 - The ladies are looking well today. Venezia seems to be showing some light signs of heat stress with slight curling of the leaves. The lights are due to be adjusted tomorrow to account for the seedlings growth over the last week.

So nicely in the swing of flower now And looking amazing I really pumped the nutrients this week as you can see, At the end of this week a stopped giving the plant these addavitves More roots, Humic acid, Growzyime, Fast bud folar spray, And big buds, And have now started too raise the house & Garden A&B soil feed and also there budXL I also started off early but as a trace amount of there top shooter, By the end of week I intend on giving them the full recommended of each and only be giving them the house and garden range at full streingh, I will then wait for the first Amber tricomb then instant flush feeds, Hopefully I get two weeks from that stage but it is often genetic so as long as I get at least one week and at least 3 feeds of water only then I'm happy

So, I threw out Fruit Diesel and Bruce Banner because of insufficient development. I still made a mistake, it is better to plant 4 plants under such a lamp, but not 6. I installed a dehumidifier, the humidity reaches 60% - no more. All the same, in a hot climate air conditioning to reduce humidity is not possible.

Seems pretty damn happy after week 1 bloom. Put in some decent stretch especially in the middle. Tied all the tallest down today to flatten her back out. Also cleared out a few more fan leaves, mostly under the canopy, to let her breathe. And tightened up my nute measuring with a syringe, sans needle of course, from my b12 doses. Howdy All, Happy New Year! The girls are getting close. The pictures were taken on the 29th. Today is the 3rd of Jan. They are getting close as you can see in the pictures. I began flushing last week with just Regeisys and still giving Terpinator. They are not going to finish at the same time, it looks like I have 2 that will go first and then the other 2 within a week or so. They smell great, and as the Pics show they are frosty. Don't want the Trichomes to get to amber, maybe 25% of them and we are about there. I will follow up early next week. Happy Growing in 2020 everyone!.
