Week 8 for Black Lebanon by SSSC She's also been loving the high humidity/rain as she's really starting to gain size😍She barely skipped a beat after being topped & a little defoliation. Just letting her branches get a little longer/stronger before i start to pull her side ways more. She's generally a taller/lankier strain compared to the gelato 41. With how its been raining i wont be watering her for a while easily until next week if not longer depending how hot its going to be getting as were expecting 33 degrees plus coming in this week.

Day 86, 5th of December 2020: Lovely solid plant! No complain at all, no problem at all. Easy to grow ;) Not much to report we are here at the 5th week and I am happy with her! The lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week.

Both seem to be slowing down as far as stretching goes. They both are getting slightly taller every week. There were a few weak fan leaves and stems near the bottom of both plants so I defoliated a bit more. Bud sights look nice and healthy and are have a nice slight smell.

Lots going down this week! I threw up a couple pictures today (day 74) I'll add more pictures and videos later on but I wanted to get this week started... Day 70; Nothing much to report except we got the new Optic 8+ 120°lens LED installed!! We got her put up around day 69. It's the 2nd optic weve bought and love these lights! The plants reacted immediately and we only started them at 80%veg brightness 20%bloom. Increasing 10% or so a day. I also built a cloning station so I can take cuts tomorrow just incase we fide a unicorn!🤞 Day 71; Officially on 12/12 light schedule now! I've decided to keep #2 in her 3gal pot. #1 gets the 10gallon smartpot. Both are doing terrific. I top dressed with .5 table spoons per gallon of soil on both plants using Papa's Perfect Poop. Made buy Michigan made mix m3 soil company. Its 5-10-2 using 100% organic fossilized bat guano Day 72: I defoliated both plants today. Fairly heavy but not extreme. I took all the larger fan leaves out that were blocking the lower bud sites. I also took clones today. 2 off each plant. 1 of each clone went into an ez-cloner that uses spraying water to root them. The other 2 cuts I put in a hydrofarm cloner that submerges the stems in aerated water until rooting. Day 73; The girls both bounced back and are praying beautifully after the defoliation. Both loved it! I can definitely see the start of new growth already on the lowers. I'm keeping the clones on 24hr light schedule. I know its addition stress but it's easier for me. Day 74: Literally nothing happened today. I sat and stared at them for maybe 2hrs but that's about it tho lol Day 75: A bit done today. I rearranged the tent hoping to give the girls a bit more leg room(you can see #2 in the picture is growing all funny because of space) I also watered #2 tonight. I'm finding the Choc Mint OG do not like much water. I also took them out of the tent for some glamour shots. You can really see what difference 7gallons of soil can make in terms of size. #1 is nearly a foot taller. Both are starting to stretch. Curious how much that is. Put #2 out in shades place outside to harden up Day 76: Not much going on. I watered number 1. Day 77: Big day today. 3 days ago I put #2 outdoors in shade to acclimate. I know I rushed that a bit. Should have let her harden up a bit more first, but I wanted her in the ground and growing roots while she has time. Its gonna be close but I figure all my other outdoor plants are just starting to flower so why not? My tent was a little crowded so being outside will give her the best chance possible! Hey yall, Temps were high, but under control now. My girls were droopy despite having moist soil. After a good compost tea they bounced right back. Pistol hairs are showing, haven't grown this specific cultivar before so the bud structure is a but different than others I am familiar with. Let's see what she does moving forward. I am not a super fan of these genetics. Already have new seeds I am ready to start once these ladies are done. Over all the Strawberry Diesel from Beaver Seeds is not a noob grow, you need to have your grow dialed in. And really be careful with PM. I am keeping humidity as low as I cam while still maintaining a decent VPD. Challenges with this strain definitely turns me off. Looking forward to a new cultivar, already have some genetics from Michigan, those cats are really something else, they are hellbent on being better than the West coast. And they are in my humble opinion 😌 ☺️ Pure Michigan looks good, also Honey Sticks Genetics out of Maine is killing it, their Bananaconda 4 tested over 40% total cannabinoids. They want like 3k per cut, so that won't be my next, but looking forward to new genetics nonetheless. Anyways made some new ferments, remember to use equal parts organic sugar, Jaggery is best, that is the closest form of sugar to the sugar cane plant. Cover with paper towel, 2 to 3 days later let gravity give you all that juice, don't squeeze it to get more. Keep that juice in the fridge, that is your food. Then add water to the solids and keep at room temperature for 3 months to make a vinegar. That is your cleanser. FBT 2307 did really well. She has aone. Ice big colas. I did have a ph issue with wrong nutrition base that damaged leaves in early flowering. Once a new solution was given it had stopped. She has a earthy flowery smell. Loaded with frost, and buds feel dense. She will hang for 24 hours then go into the cannatrol. Esta por empezar el engorde final. Ya las flores estan casi formadas. La altura está al límite total. Uno o dos centímetros más y estaría en problemas de verdad. El engorde de muchas flores ya es notorio, pero creo que el uso de un bioestimulante que no es de primera línea, ha reducido el potencial de las plantas. De todos modos hasta no tener el resultado final no puedo afirmar nada. La solución de esta semana fue cargada con más pk booster para ver cómo funciona la linea de greenhouse en esta etapa. Suelo usar pk 13/15 de canna. Pero esta vez puse el que tenía. Seguiré actualizando. Día 31. Se nota mucho el engorde. Las hojas muestran pequeños signos de sobre fertilización, pero nada grave que no haya visto antes. Me suele pasar en esta semana en todos los cultivos en hidroponia. Pero las veces que ko me pasó, no tuve el engorde deseado. Por eso manejo mediciones de PPM superiores 1000. Se empieza a ver cuáles van a ser los cogollos más grandes, pero sigo con incertidumbre sobre cuanto más van a engordar. Estoy bastante conforme al momento. Hoy tuve contacto con plantas macho, pero me cambié toda la ropa antes de acercarme al indoor y le lavé. Además no sé si sumará, pero me rocío en alcohol cada vez que entro a casa, así que espero no tener problemas. Ya voy a ir preparando los esquejes para la próxima siembra. Quizá no logre sacar 10 de las madres que tengo. Pero quizá ponga menos y los haga crecer más tiempo y con bastante LST. Pero será en otro protecto. Por ahora espero que siga el engorde. Día 33. Ya el engorde es un hecho. Por el momento estoy bastante satisfecho. La solución se concentró demasiado así que tuve que agregar agua. Pero más allá de algunos signos de sobre fertilización mínimos y pasajeros en las hojas, la plantas se muestran saludables y firmes. Todavía sigo buscando la posibilidad de agregar overdrive la semana que viene. Todo está por verse. Según el calendario de la planta, debería empezar el lavado esta semana, ya que sería la última. Pero por la madurez de los tricomas, todavía le faltan entre 10 días y 2 semanas más. Así que se viene otra semana de sobrecarga de PK y voy a aumentar la dosis para aprovechar a medir el nivel de tolerancia de la planta a altos niveles producto. Al ser hidroponia y trabajar con el ambiente bastante controlado, confío en que voy a poder aplicar correctivos a tiempo, si empiezo a notar defasajes bruscos.
