Mar 10th Week 13 CDP # 2 is doing awesome Some LST required and possibly some more defoliation this week CDP # 1 is picking up a little bit from last week but still far behind it’s sister plant Mar 13th Fresh nutrients today More defoliation CDP # 1 is still lagging behind CDP # 2 is healthy happy filling out nicely It is the biggest plant in the tent Mar 14th Defoliated CDP # 2 big time. Took me an hour or so. This is an experiment with defoliation for me. I want to see if this will help provide the stimulus to produce buds instead of leaves. All in an attempt to get the biggest nuggets I can.

Hello my fellow Growers👊 It was another Great week for the Kush Fromage 🙌 All the pictures were taken on Sunday, which was Day 42 of Flower. She is really starting to reek the whole area up. It is a very earthy kush like smell with fresh grapes on a grapevine mixed in, it's a very unique smell😊 She is supposed to be a very heavy resin producer and have a high THC and CBD content. Anywhere from 18-26% THC and ~3% CBD according to the breeder. I can tell you this it is one very very resinous plant😵 even the fan leaves and smaller leaves that have no trichomes on them have developed an oily resin on them. It's awesome so I can definitely say it is a heavy resin producer. If a sugar leaf touches another leaf you can see an oily resin where it touched it, my fingers get sticky just from the fan leaves👍The breeders estimated time of Flower is around 63 Days. So we got a few more weeks to go!! I hope the buds will fill in a good bit more but I am not counting on them getting huge due to this strain being more on the quality over quantity side of things. It's not a bad producer and I'm sure they can get some pretty huge flowers on em, but I have seen plants that can produce way more, but this strain makes up for it in its potency and resin production. Plus I personally like the Quality over quantity strains. Not really big buds but going really good,they have time to grow more flowers but don't hope too much,still love them,D53(Update)I purchase an CFL maxibright 200W and I'm gonna still with that until harvest

Hey everyone! So this week has been pretty good, no sort of issues really as I've decided to incorporate kelp meal into my next grow. With 4 weeks left of flowering, I feel this won't affect harvest too much considering my last group was showing cal/mag deficiencies before even going into flowering. Anywho, this bad boy is a monster and the buds are getting fat. I brushed up against some sticky leaves and all you can smell are literal blackberries with a skunky pungent smell to it. Exciting :) Buds are getting fat by the day, about toonie sized and getting some vertical growth to them..nice pine cones ;) Smell is incredible in the tent...sweet, skunky berries. Week 5 of flower The buds are swelling nice. The aroma's are starting to smell real good. The blueberry pancake left in the back already got a really sweet blueberry smell. The other 2 blueberry pancakes are doing great to, Of the 4 they look the most mature The collie man kush is also doing good and the trichomes are starting to build up. Lets see what next week is gonna bring.

The girls are starting to wrap up their cycle. I have been watching the trichomes closely, and we are getting very close..Trying to pick the best day for both of the strains I have going at the moment, the Apple Betty are a little closer than the cookies, but they are very similar in readiness… I’ll be checking daily, I did get a wireless microscope for Christmas so it has become much easier to tell👨‍🔬 I’ve got mostly cloudy, with a few clear, but I am waiting for a bit more amber to give them the couch lock that I like when I smoke. We pulled her down with approx 90% cloudy trics..not a massive harvest and she could have gone an extra week but we're still playing catch up from our hermi ,we also desperately needed the space..I REALLY like this strain, it's easily becoming a favorite...it didn't last very long the firs time lol...the wife gives it a 7 and I'd say it's a firm 8.5 :)

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.
