It was an easy harvest as the colas developed nicely. Hardly any popcorn nugs and very little sugar leaves. If the weather had allowed it, I think she could have grown even bigger, but I'm more than happy with the outcome!

Dosidos has recovered from the snail attack very nicely ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘ The snail has topped her a bit too early but thats ok.. just glad she is still trying to bake some cookies ๐Ÿ’ช We have had some nice summer days (3..๐Ÿ˜ณ) So that surely helped๐Ÿ‘ I have sprayed her with neemoil-mix (neemoil, detergent and luke warm water) so she will stay strong from attacks of other cookie munsters๐Ÿ’ช Now its raing and cloudy again so she is in greenhouse with her crew ...having a powwow ๐Ÿ˜ฅ happy growing for all โœŠ

Day 22 - Rolling into week 4 looking mean and green! ๐Ÿ’ช I need to make a decision on what kind of training I want to dish out to this lady. She's growing a bit faster than her tent mates. Day 23 - Always experimenting - today I begin my first mainline! I've already built the foundation by allowing the plant to grow to 6 nodes, as recommended by the tutorial I followed by the brilliant Miss Nebula Haze @growweedeasy. My next step is documented here in a video, as I take my lush, happy, healthy plant, and give her the kind of haircut that makes you want to storm out of the salon without leaving a tip. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I even managed to get in my signature branch snap early in the game - being held together now with duct tape. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ In all seriousness though, I'm thrilled to be trying this out, despite the agony of cutting down my plant to nothing but a stump and antennae. I've seen some great growers create some serious masterpieces using this method, and damn it my curiosity is taking control! Here's to learning something new! Day 27 - Came home from vacation to find that my plant had hulked through the duct tape that held her snapped branch together... I guess she's doing well. โ˜บ๏ธ Over the course of the past few days her branches have gotten notably thicker! ๐Ÿ’ช Day 28 - Now that each new main stem has grown out, I removed all the growth tips from below the 3rd node on each side. I left the fan leaves in tact to give plant access to extra energy as she pushes through this intense training. I softened the branches with my fingers, very slowly, to tie down my new main stems horizontally across the net basket. I took a sterilized x-acto knife to then top each of my two main stems at the 3rd node on each side, leaving me with a beautifully symmetrical base to my masterpiece.

First pistils came through this week! Switched the 'bloom' switch on the light to double LED count and add the red to the spectrum. Defoliated lower growth again on day 45 before noticing the pistil 48 hours later. Spotted a nutrient burn, and that I haven't been watering until enough runoff so possible nute/salt buildup? I also realised the plant was drooping before feeding so going to increase feed volume to keep the coco more moist. A nice amount of main colas considering her rough childhood. Fed no nutrients from day 47-49, just feeding 5.8pH water to reduce salt content. Water was 60PPM at 5.8pH and after 8L still got 500PPM runoff. Definitely need to change feeding method. Thanks for the tips to those who answered!

The week was well. One of my ladies seem a little over watered. So I'll cut back on her little this week. I did top them all (yes I top earlier than most people 3rd or 4th node rather than 5th or 6th) this week every time I watered I threw in some human acid and whatever microbes I felt like using I think I've added pnsb, & recharge and prolly the sample of fish sh!t I had this week. I'll prolly brew a tea or do a compost extract sometime this week just because I haven't done one yet.

Harvest day 64 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time ๐Ÿ’š The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 11-14 days at a temperature of 18 degrees and 55-60% humidity. After 11-14 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 58. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). Let's get to the plant ๐Ÿ’š. The smell is great I'm curious about the taste ๐Ÿ’š It is very fruity and has a touch of Tangie ๐Ÿ˜ The taste remains on the palate even after a few minutes ๐Ÿ‘ The look is very nice even if it looks very loose and not as nice and firm as other buds it is still a 10 out of 10 because of the taste ๐Ÿ˜€ Their growth behavior was perfect from start to finish ๐Ÿ‘Œ I hope you liked the diary and wish you all a nice week. Seedlings are struggling. My guess is it's from over watering substrate with vermiculite in it but I'm not 100% sure. I've been fairly moderate with water. If they were in regular potting mix this amount of water would have been okay. Next time I'll start them in plain potting soil. I also thought that maybe there was a nutrient shortage because I'm using 25% coco coir but actually this seems unlikely. In any case I put a bit of extra soil on top of the pots. Despite the browning off this week the stems are still really strong. I'm still confident they will recover and just need time. The temperature fluctuations of the last week might have had a negative effect.

Week 6 - Transition to Flower (First Bloom Week) The Donutz squad has officially entered the bloom phase, kicking off the first week of flower in style. The upgrade to 7L pots has gone smoothly, and the plants are thriving in their new space. Monday marked the start of the flowering cycle, and everything is set up for an efficient and productive Sea of Green. Setup Adjustments: Canopy Leveling: The taller plants in the front row are left as-is, while the shorter ones in the back have been placed on top of the empty 3.7L pots. This ensures an even canopy for maximum light distribution. Defoliation: Everything under the net that wouldnโ€™t develop into usable bud โ€” based on past experience โ€” has been trimmed away. The focus is now entirely on the top canopy and cola production. Nutrients & Care: Flowering Nutrients: Greenhouse Feeding Bloom is in play, with 30g applied per 7L pot (following the recommended 3-5g per liter). This should carry the plants through the stretch phase and provide a strong start for flower development. Watering: Still cruising with reverse osmosis (RO) water, keeping things clean and steady. Light Intensity: Slowly ramping up the light week by week to avoid shocking the plants, aiming for full intensity once theyโ€™ve settled into the flowering phase. Plans for the Stretch & Beyond: A second net is ready to go for after the stretch, ensuring the canopy remains supported and those fat nugs donโ€™t collapse under their own weight. Continued monitoring of canopy height and plant health as they shift their energy into flowering. Observations: The Donutz are responding well to the flowering transition, with no visible stress. The even canopy and clean lollipop structure are setting the stage for optimal bud production. Everything is lining up perfectly for a strong flowering run. The Donutz are about to shine, and the tent is poised to deliver a heavy, uniform harvest. The Florida Gang energy is real โ€” time to watch the nugs stack!

Starting into Week 4 Flower, week 10 total Mandarin Cookies definitely has an extremely strong orange citrus smell, just from defoliating. Trichomes are coming in nicely. MCโ€™s are way ahead of the SKโ€™s. Definitely will be a staggered harvest at the Slower pace the SKโ€™s are starting flower Stay tuned to see how these ladyโ€™s finish up! 3 - Madarin Cookies are two in back and one in center; darker leaves 2 - Silver Kush are two up front; bright green leaves 2-3 gallons water/nutes per 5 plants, alternating with plain water (just calmag, malassis, Ph. 6.4) every other day. Ph.6.4 The new version of Spider Farmer SF-4000 is an awesome light, for anyone wondering. New version has dimmer on top without having to remove the driver. No good pictures of Silver Kush yet, flowers arenโ€™t so impressive... YET. Iโ€™m sure theyโ€™ll fill in just fine in next few weeks though.
