******** Week 3 of flower, Week 12 growth - Oct 3 to 9/20 *********** It has been less exciting this week with respect to new issues👍😃 Leaves are getting a little darker for my liking this week. It is one of the things I have often struggled with using AN Sensi Grow and Bloom base nutes.,,,,,,keeping the feeding at 1ml.L to maybe 1.5ml at max.....stopped using their CalMag Basie of nitrogen levels as well. Not sure where else to go and will just give her some time for now and stay the course and see what the next two weeks bring.......keep up, increase, the plain water feedings. Little more detail........ Oct 3/20, Day 15 - 4L watering with CalMag, Rezin @ 2ml, Sensyzime @ 1.5ml - 450ppm and 5.7pH - they look to be stretching a bit. Oct 4/20, Day 16 - 4L feed with Rezin, Terpinator @ 2ml, CalMag, Sensi Bloom, Big Bud, B52, Bud Candy @ 1ml - 1025ppm and 5.8pH - left alone for the most part. - C472 needs some lower branching removed. Oct 5/20, Day 17 - 3L - Vitathrive, Piranha, Microbial Mass @ 1.5ml = 110ppm and 5.9pH - 100ppm and 5.9pH - fair bit of runoff yesterday with 4L so backing down a bit. Oct 7/20, Day 19 - 4L - Rezin, Terpinator @ 2ml, Rhino, Big Bud, B52 @ 1.5ml, CalMag, Sensi Bloom, Bud Candy @ 1ml - 1025ppm and 5.9pH - girls are really frosting up! Bud sites stacking......feeling might be a little slow though???? Oct 9/20, Day 21 - 3L- Rezin @ 2ml, CalMag, B52, Sensi Bloom @ 1ml, - 500ppm and 5.9pH Girls are looking good.....slow though?????

This week we've continued to observe the buds fattening and the pistils decreasing in size. This variety is estimated to take between 45-50 days, but from what I'm seeing, mine are a bit delayed, possibly by at least a week.

6/8 Haven't had to water yet (besides the two tens and I should've held off). It's an overcast day. Perfect for the plants. I've noticed more off shoots of 3 pronged leaves so a few plants will reveg but thats fine. I'm happy with how things are going thus far. These are certainly very resilient strains. I've done some SLIGHT LSTing. EDIT: IT'S BEEN A NICE DAY TODAY. A LITTLE OVERCAST BUT SUNNY AT TIMES. PERFECT WEATHER FOR THE GIRLS. THEY ARE LOVING IT OUT THERE! 6/9 And the girls are lookin' Fiiiiiine. In all seriousness everything is doing pretty good. Even that overwatered pink kush runt in the 10gal is coming out of its little funk. Some of my FIM's turned out amazing! With the reveg of some of these I'll definately have my hands full. Very grateful for smart pots and well draining soil! We've gotten some harsh rain but the girls all seem fine. It's the wind today that's a little worrisome. I may stop over later. I COULD put up tarps around the cage as wind blocks (and have before in the past) but it increases the humidity of an already extremely humid day. These girls are strong. I'm sure they'll be fine. I've found that the tarps typically hurt worse than they help.

It was a good week for Night Nurse👍 Now that they're in the ground they're doing much better and putting out more growth. The one on the end could have better color, since her new growth is a bit yellow. I gave her an extra feeding last night after I transplanted some Calendula into the bed since it's a good pest repelling companion. We're getting some much needed rain today🙏 Otherwise there's not much else to report! Update 6/26- I totally forgot to add that on Monday the garden got a spraying of horn manure. Horn manure is a biodynamic preparation of cow manure that's been fermented in a buried horn. This results in a material that's teeming with beneficial flora and fauna for the soil. Ideally it would be sprayed prior to planting in the spring as it encourages healthy root growth. I purchased the pre-potenized so that I only had to spend 20 mins stirring rather than an entire hour. That would have been brutal😵 I sprayed it at night when the earth is breathing in and used a spruce bough to sprinkle it over the plants in the garden. The extra icing on the cake was that there was a rain the day before, and another the day after I sprayed so it was well watered in.

2nd ever grow and first time using Fastbuds genetics. I'm running 3x Six Shooter, 2x Pineapple Express and 1x Crystal Meth. I'll be starting diaries shortly for the other 2 strains as I'm hoping that these plants might be good enough to enter in diary of the month competition. I was supposed to be going with 3x Shooter and 3x Pinapple express but unfortunately even though I germinated 4 of each, only 50% of my seeds sprouted. I know theres only 2 six shooter in the photo but a friend of mine has one spare from a batch hes germinated so has kindly given it to me. The Crystal meth was a free gift seed so I'm running that in place of the dud pineapple seed. I've put them in a little 1x1x1 veg box that I built this weekend. Made it to fit alongside my larger tent. Plan for these girls is to veg them in the box for 3 weeks under the cheap 300w LED with plenty of co2 then move them to the bigger tent where I have 4x 315w CMH lamps. All 3 will be topped and if I have space will go under a scrog. They are actually only 4 days old since sprouting but I do all of my diaries on a Sunday as I get chilled early and have time to take photos and do weekly reports. See you guys next week!

Gradually ramped light down from 18 hours to 12 after power outages due to the fire, and it was about good time to flip anyway. It is so much easier to control temperature during the winter in my space. The lights keep the space at a pretty steady 74 F. I only popped two seeds but these are very consistent plants. One was transplanted to a bigger pot a week later and was slightly smaller. Lots of buds forming! They aren’t super fussy about nutrients—still,I haven’t pushed PPM and am keeping Ph in the 6-6.8 range. I’m using peony rings as support and to spread a little but I am not training for a perfectly flat canopy as I had excellent popcorn nugs in my last grow even with the lights over 2x further than optimal. Defoliated the lower branches but I am not defoliating aggressively, but will continue to remove any withering leaves. Sorry for the slow updates. The fire has been pretty traumatic for my city and myself, and I’m just getting back to normal life. My home, family and pets are safe, and the fire is mostly contained. What up Growmies, this one grew hella fast maturing in 9 weeks from seed to harvest fast. Buds is true to their name. This one has some serious resin on the flowers reminding me of some sort of a gelato Gorilla glue cross, but we shall see when it's released! I could be far off lol. I had no problems growing her. She was really easy and happy her whole life. She's a great one for extractions! Thank you grow diaries and thank you fastbuds for the opportunity to show the world my organic gardening skills! These plants were great. I messed things up a bit but they still turned out a half decent yield. The taste and smell of the final product are great. I am growing one of these plants in my greenhouse and I can’t wait to see what it produces as I don’t have the small space to confine the plant. I love Humboldt genetics and can’t wait to grow more.
