Hi gromie's welcome to week 8. These girls are going great, started flushing on Monday 11/11/24 with plain ph'd water and Resin from Green Planet Nutrients at 2ml/ltr. I also reduced watering to just 2 times a day for 15 minutes on each time. Just trying something different as I usually do high fertigation . 15 minutes on watering cycle every 2 hours. From what I've read, I was hoping they would draw moisture from within themselves to help with drying but also some people believe it can increase THC?? It has worked at bringing out some more of that beautiful colour with in the buds but you can really notice the back plant has started canabilising itself! Starting to see some really nice fading of colours on the vegetation of the plant at the back, which is something I don't usually get with hydro because you usually feed them right to the end & Only need to flush for 2 to 3 days. Gave them a long flush this time. I've been waiting on a new microscope to arrive to check trichomes, but these girls are looking about done going off pistills turned orange/brown & curling in , Calyx closed & swelling up, looking really frosty!!! Will harvest this week! As I need to get veging plants into Flower Come on Grow diaries get your act together!!! I'm tired of updating my Diary only to see it's all wrong, things have been changed, put my day temp at 28°c save it & it shows -2°c & it's like that All through the diaries????

Everything is pretty much the same this week the purple punch is doing up numbers, the zkittles is rite behind it with the gelato struggling. Already germinated some seeds for the summer grow hope the gelato grows better out doors

week 7 begins and the buds look about the same but, they’re reallllyyy starting to fatten up, the left one looks a little bit more mature than the right but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there

Hello Diary. We reached the end of the fifth farm, along with two Haze Berries, there was another Fat Banana plant that ended its journey a week earlier than the Haze Berries. Haze Berries have become record holders in terms of yield. A total of 185 g, with the larger Haze Berry # 1 yielding 105 g and the smaller Haze Berry # 2 yielding 80g. Definitely a record yield. I think I wrote and described more or less all the information, the amount of photos shows the whole cycle of plant development during each week so I wouldn’t spend too many words on it anymore. Here's how it all went since the last call. 05/12/2020 - Day 72. Harvest. I checked with a microscope and when most of the trichomes are milky and about 5% have turned brown it’s time to harvest, at least that’s the case in my case. After the last photo shoot, I cut off both plants at the very bottom of the stalk and hung upside down in a growbox to dry. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 23.4 degrees and 38% humidity. 17/12/2020 - Day 84. After 12 days of drying, I took the plants out and pruned the rest of the dry leaves. I put the dried flowers in jars, put in moisture fighters for better moisture regulation and for better curing. 31/12/2020 - Day 98. Tasting. Great smoke, fruity tropical flavor. I’m almost over the finish line with my first grow. From now, she’s on plain water ph 6.5. I’m paying closer attention to the trichomes, she’s very frosty but no sight of any ambers yet. The smell of the fullgas has changed to a lovely sweet candy . So Looking forward to smoking this guys.

Looks like I missed a week… It’s been horribly hot, and they only have access to the light outside. …In the heat. So I have been keeping them in filtered sun, sometimes shade or a brief moment in the sun. They soak up all the morning sun when it’s cooler at least. I’ve noticed what would most likely be a subtle potassium deficiency. The heat is bad. Not too hot, but unfortunately there were multiple occasions where they had more hot sun than necessary. I didn’t notice any signs of stress at the time, other than leaf tips and edges folding and pointing up a lil bit. But later in the evening I could see subtle discoloration. I’m pretty sure these young un-established plants are just running a little short on potassium. I’ve been giving them potassium as well. It’s just a matter of keeping them cool. Overall I’d say they haven’t gotten too hot! Just hot enough multiple times to put a higher demand on water and potassium than necessary, all while having slowed growth. I positive they are all still good and no one has been stunted. I hope! But yeah I think we are doing good. Just going slower than usual with the excessive heat. We are averaging a high of 90 Fahrenheit with some days getting 94! Also, they are growing slowly not only because of the heat, but the lack of direct light for the second half of the day. I’d rather grow slowly than risk stunting any. I’m feeling positive about this bunch. They are young and bursting with life!! ….slowly.

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. W7 - GRETA 🌱is growing well. I again defoliate some leaves from top brunches (compare with week 6) just to make the top canopy slightly less dense. That will allow more sunlight receive by lower brunches a specially when they in the flowering period. Still using garden wire to hold down two top branches. She looks like bonsai cannabis 🎉 😘 I am happily watching her grow 🙂

From now on, only Reverse Osmosis watter for the ladies, no nutrients applied.

Weathers been great, cool nights, but not much rain. Lab Serum has been amazing, zero sign of PM. Did a quick addition of BT as well, did see some caterpillars, nothing major though. Probably still a week or 2 of neem before i'll stop entirely and rely only on lab serum. Her leaves look so shiny and healthy with that lab serum. Shes loosing virtually no leaves, well fed, super impressed with how well this Hugel has kept her happy! Shes full into flower now, but will still be another 5-6 weeks. She's absolutely massive now, i need my ladder daily for inspections, must be nearly 9 feet.

4/9/25 Welcome to another week. Week 5 since the flip of 12/12 just ended. So today is day 36 since 12/12. The begining of week 6. About halfway done with flowering. Time to start packing on weight. also its important to note that it took a week or so after 12/12 to have pistils show up. So its closer to 28 -30 days of Flowering. I have a foxtailing pheno thats mostly green with thin buds. I have a super chonker green pheno with ridiculously chunked up golfball sized nugs everywhere.(R3) I have a sativa style but thicker buds with nice long connected colas (R2) another smaller pheno with traits of some of the others and also green. and then a singlular pheno that looks gelato dominant and its purple pretty much everywhere to the point that i didnt notice its coloring until it was next to all of its sisters that are straight green. Sunday, 14-08-2022 Plant continuing to look good and is in flower. Secondary stems from mainlines so tall I decided, in the moment and not planned at all, to tied them down yesterday. I realize this is not fully in line with quadlining but I went for it. Supplemented feed today with my Beneficial Booster. Foliar sprayed the last two nights with The Amazing Doctor Zymes Eliminator for IPM. Except for testing before use, I followed instructions exactly and have noticed no phytotoxicity. Will report on effectiveness next week after completing initial 3 day treatment tonight.

Week 15 going good…not bad …switching to bloom nutrient… and did a ton of defoliating to loosen up the canopy hopefully they won’t grow too much when I flip them to 1212 in a week I’ve seen these plants three times the size. Hopefully I can stunt that growth during the initial stretch by switching to Bloom nutrients early. Defoliating a week before flipping. I may decide to top them more but I probably won Do I have to type here for it to be green this is crazy. I’ve done more than a paragraph now at this point it’s kind of weird that it’s not green be green what the hell can it still not be green

Hi gromie's, well were at day 29 of flowering & day 64 in total. She has grown some really nice chunky dense buds & has a fairly strong sweet/ lemon/citrus smell to her. She is getting closer to harvest, starting to get cloudy trichomes & pistills starting to change colour, Calyx closed & swelling. Nice & sticky!
