The plants stopped growing in height and are now in FULL FLOWERING mode. Every day more and more flower clusters appear and start to build colas at the sidebranches now. The trichome production is also in full swing, the plants get stickier every day and smell DELICIOUS. The Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have a sweet sandelwood-smell like the AK-47 but also with peach undertones from the Barbara Bud in it. I LOVE THE AROMA!

These ladies are doing mighty fine! The smell is unreal! Almost like walking into a candy shop! The color, cannot be better. I do have 3 purple phenos and 2 green. But even the green phenos have alot of purple. Gonna be a some beautiful stuff to say the least. Noticing some minor foxtailing on one, has ro be genetic. The environment is on point. Intoduced Big bud supplement to them this week, and they seem to love it so far..

Another solid week with more sun, but the plants got kinda shot up from wind. No damage, but after a whole night of wind the plants were leaning a bunch and looked visibly frightened. Strung up the wedding cake for early training and it’s looking a lot better, CC seems to have mostly straightened itself out. Let me know what you guys think!

Ich habe mich dafür entschieden, damit ich a) eine Chance habe die Wurzeln mit Mykorhizza zu impfen und b) damit die Erde so lange wie möglich locker bleibt. Ich nutze Mycotrex von BioTabs. Welche Erfahrungen habt ihr mit Mykorhizza gemacht? Gibt es eine bessere Methode als die Sporen in Form von Pulver beim Umtopfen hinzuzugeben? Día 50 Ya tengo los 4 esquejes creciendo junto con la madre. Hice un LST muy fuerte a la madre bajando y corriendo muchas ramas para que les de luz a los esquejes. El tamaño de los troncos es muy grande. Pero si la organización que tengo pensada sale bien, se va a aprovechar muy bien todo el espacio. En una semana espero que los esquejes tengan la altura de la madre y ya empieza la floración. La verdad que me demoró mucho más de lo esperado. Pero creo que va a valer la pena. Hoy agregué micorrizas de un proveedor que hace aptas para hidroponia. Solamente me falta ir a buscar los microorganismos eficientes. Ya tuve que poner 18 litros en el depósito, dado que la planta está comiendo mucho. Ya pronto se viene la floración y va a ser la hora de la verdad. El único inconveniente es que hace mucho frío donde tengo las plantas y no logro temperaturas mayores a 24°C. De todos modos espero que no dure tanto esta ola de frío. Ya se acaba la fase de crecimiento. Día 53 Hoy hice una defoliación muy fuerte y corte de varios brotes. Ya quedaron determinados los esquejes a sacar y las ramas que van a quedar. Si siguen a este ritmo, a finales de esta semana se pasan a floración. Solamente un esqueje está demorando el crecimiento. Pero creo que va a llegar bien. Amarré hacia abajo las 6ramas seleccionadas y dejé que los esquejes se estiren unos días más. Son unos 14 esquejes que pienso sacar. Y quedarían 22 ramas. Hay 2 que no se que hacer, así que en total tengo 38 "cabezas". De los esquejes me quedo con 1 o 2 para mantener la variedad. Los pongo en tierra así el crecimiento es más lento. El resto los termino regalando siempre. Ya pronto estaré viendo cuanto se estiran durante la floración.

Switched to GH flora 3 part. Playing around with flood times. The are taking up water at an exponential rate. Started with 3, 3 minute floods, up to 6, 4 minute floods and they're still drying up the puddles within an hour. Plant 1 is ahead of plant 2 by a day but it is half the size🤷‍♂️ Topped day 16. Not obvious in the photos as I had hoped but they bounced back within minutes Thank to evryone who gave their input, every little bit helps🙌 After all your suggestions, I've, backed off the light, backed off the flood time and count. We will see if these girls perk up a little more👍 Day 17 I noticed progression of what I believe to be a calcium deficiency? That's on me, forgot the calmag originally🤦‍♂️ another thing I decided to look into was the twisting of the leaves as the plant 1 is also starting to show. Could my ph be alot higher than I think? 4 gal res I added a couple ml of phosphoric acid at the start and about 1ml a day since(I didnt prep my cube as well as I should of) seems like alot to me. The system would rise from 5.3 to 6.3 throughout the day. A flood cycle doesnt seem to affect the ph, more over time. I am constantly stirring the mix and no my meter is not yet calibrated. I have ordered what I need but I'm considering calibrating with the chemicals I have and doing a res change. Good news is, they do seem a little more lifelike after implementing all your suggestions. Okay drained and rinsed my res, ro water into the tank was holding 6.97ph, good enough for the girls I go out with🤷‍♂️ gonna mix up a batch, do a top feed to waste, and see what happens. It has been nearly 24h since my last flood. Also, struggling with lows of 30% humidity sometimes. Dont know if that plays a role here. Okay something was off.. I did a top feed to waste with fresh 5.3 nutes and the runoff came out at 7.5.. so I did it again...and again...maybe a half doesnt times to each block with no change. I started to reuse the runoff as I wrote off the batch at this point. I then switched to a pump and did recirc feed to each block aprox 20 litres at a time, stopping to rebalance. Literally 100s of litres later I am stable at 5.5....going to drain rinse and refill. The interesting part is that what ever was saturated in those blocks is non conductive, the ec didnt change the entire time🤷‍♂️ Spent the next couple days recovering. Looking better now. Sardine catcher installed.

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s, they are hanging and drying now. The 3rd is definitely looking better than the first 2. I think the first 2 will probably be turned into edibles, rather than smoked. The 3rd is looking much better overall and especially in terms of bud development, she will probably be smoked. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Que pasa familia, vamos con la primera semana de floración de estas Gorilla cookies Auto de FastBuds. Tiene muy buenas reseñas y pues me animé a colocar 4 plantas. Alimentamos nuestras plantas con Agrobeta. Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2 y riego en intervalos de 48h. La temperatura está entorno al 22/24 grados y la humedad anda sobre el 50%. Las plantas en si ya están bien sanas , la que está más verde es la que me cortó un poco en alimentar , pero por lo demás genial todo perfecto aquí.
