I had an advice from an old friend: just let them grow. and i nearly did exactly that. i just tried out a little bit LST on the Strawberry Gorilla and Northern Lights. Afterwards i cutted the big leaves that were responsible for Shadow and low airflow and watered them with less water, but all 2 days. lets see how they react. talking about nutrition: they just got a little help for the bloom and wont get anything before next week or until they show some deficits. i think it wasnt the cold weather that let my SG suffer so much, i just overfeeded her.

Everything is going smooth im trying to figure out a good nutrient mix for these ladies but all seems well I wish bountiful harvest to all Grow Diaries members and home cultivator

‼️DAY 56, LIGHTS OUT‼️ We have reached the final day. The ladies are looking beautifull and I cant wait to harvest them For the next 48 hours they will stay in the ground with the lights out. After those 48 hours they will be harvested🤩 In the last video you can see how the mutated plants have grown. I DID NOT TOP THOSE!

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Getting close harvest!! The fan leaves 🍃 started releasing nitrogen and buds are starting to ripe I have have decreased amount of nutrients since she’s getting closer to harvest I’ll be watering her with water to remove any excess nutrients buildup from the bottom and to allow her to take the rest of nutrients left till her times comes.. I also did not add plant Height because I had done LST on her so I will be hard to know exact Height on mine

⭐ TrolMaster tracking ⭐ I started to track my crop during week 15, when I got the Tent-X TCS-1 by TrolMaster. First impression was: this is too professional for me, I can't handle setting it up and using it well. Then I started reading some posts on Instagram, I visited their site and in 5 minutes my cultivation experience took a huge step forward with disarming simplicity, I couldn't believe it. I have uploaded tracking videos from the TrolMaster app for each week from the 15th to the 19th, as well as the two weeks of drying stage. ⭐ Controller Chronicles ⭐ Day after day I appreciated the clarity and precision for data, access to all settings and instant readings by connecting a WIFI router to the controller's LAN port. I loved the possibility to dim my lamps remotely, or even automatically based on the temperature in the box! 🌱 GERMINATION (2 days) Seeds in a glass of EC 0.4 tap water for 10 hours, then in root riots and under the lamp. They sprouted after 48 hours from dry seed. 🌿 GROWING STAGE (10 weeks and half) I decided to give these plants a long vegetative growth and this allowed me to do a lot of training on both. Starting from the 4th veg week I started with defoliation sessions every two weeks, for a total of four during the entire vegetative phase. The last defoliation was done a couple of days before the switch, in order to allow the lower parts of the plant to get as much light as possible. Furthermore I did Topping on week 6, cutting the apical branch, then on week 8 I did Topping again on several sites, as well as SuperCropping on the highest branches to make the canopy uniform. The light cycle I used is 18/6 and the last two veg weeks I lowered the light hours to 16/8 first and 14/10 then. During the veg stage I made 4 DWC change, PH was always between 5.5 and 6, about EC I started with 0.6 and was 1.4 on the last veg week. 🌸 FLOWERING STAGE (9 weeks) I started this phase after 36 hours of darkness, I then changed the DWCs solution (adding a flowering stimulator). Then I mounted the ScrOG-net about 50 cm from the base of the plants and I wove the phenotype #1 through the net occupying at least 60% of the available space; the phenotype #2 stretched shortly after the switch and I used the net only to widen the central branches. They showed the pre-flowers two weeks after the switch, then I made two defoliations on week 3 and 5 flo. During the last four weeks of flowering (weeks 6-9) I simply paid attention to the PH-EC levels to provide the roots with optimal conditions. I then kept the TEMP-RH-VPD-PPFD values ​​under control and this also thanks to the Tent-X controller by TrolMaster which allows me to provide optimal conditions also above. I chopped them when trichomes were about 85% milky and 15% amber. During the flowering stage PH was always between 5.8 and 6.2, about EC I started with 2 and was 2.3 on the last week before flush. ✅ HARVEST - From dry seed to harvest: 140 days (2 days germination + 75 days veg + 63 days flo). - Chopped after 4 days flush and 48 hours in dark; - Wet trim, removed fan leaves. ✅ DRYING STAGE - Time: 14 days; - Average: 20° C - 50% RH. - After that I made a dry trim, removed branches and sugar leaves. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT - Phenotype #1: 230 gr buds + 25 gr larf; - Phenotype #2: 105 gr buds + 50 gr larf. So, the overall dry weight is: 335 gr buds + 75 gr larf. ✅ CURING STAGE - Curing is done after 30 days with Boveda 62%.

Plants looking good they have a light smell plant 1 is developing slower than plant two. Plant 2’s bud are very dense!!! Still a few weeks to go

Everything's going good, just water till harvest now. Very Berry will be coming down between the 17-24 of march and the stone cold diesel will be coming down between the 23-30 everything in my house smells like this tent, that's with venting outdoors and running scrubbers. Hands down that stone cold diesel produced some funk , like almost gag funk, the berry is berry smelling of course with gas notes behind it.

Hi guys been a way for a while but I'm back, the ladys are well into flower now. The strawberry chemdawg ogz are beasts and super frosty there a bit behind the blackberry moonrock. But alot bigger.

Every day the whole plant iis getting heavier and the buds are growing bigger minute by minute... Thank you Barney’s Farm for such a super quality of every your seed and produce!...

I'm 4 days into flower. Topped all the plants nice and even. Then removed all bud sites below the top 4 on each branch. Leaving fan leaves intact. I allowed them to recover for 2 days. Then flipped the lights. Blue Gelato 41 has filled in 2/3 of the tent well. Big leaves are forming and they continue to reach.

New week and this means official flowering for the girl, stretching, preflowers, pistils and a big smile after some 9 weeks of vegetation and mainline formation. I believe this is a very promising strain very sturdy, never seen any slowing of growth after any cutting or stress low or high and hoping for some big fat frosty colas with the new addition of more missing nutes such as Silica, voodoo juice and sensizym as I believe roots are very important too and I saw immediate results when I added those missing elements to my other autoflowering plants which apparently stopped drooping just before lights off and just from day 2 and never saw them droop since...check other diary... Peace Mid week update: Had to take a few more shots of this lady as Im impressed the way the buds form so quickly and look so packed even from such early stage, it proves the main lining technique works and will deliver what promises, big fat dense colas...

Made it 67 days before the chop. •••03/21/2020 After a 6 day hang I've trimmed and started to jar cure. Had a total flower weight of 85 grams. Over all I'm pleased. Will update with a smoke report in about 3 weeks.

Very start of week 9. Stacking up nice, frost everywhere.
