The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. As soon as the RH% creeps back up to 55%, the extraction turns back on, over and over, this creates a strong pressure differential which will work wonders on your grow. replicating high and low pressure fronts in nature, critical for oxygen diffusion, but more importantly, full control of your RH%. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, resulting in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow slower to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. I cannot believe I'm saying this but tomorrow is day 45! A month in a half already but it makes sense as to her small size .. 1. I don't have the room so I held of on feeding to keep her small ..2. She's constantly fighting for light as her big sisters are hogging all the sun 🌞 and 3. The best part I've been topping away.. 16 new tops growing now, will do atleast 1 more round as I have about a month before my tents start clearing out .. then I'm gonna have a veg and a flower room and stick with photoperiod for a few runs ... FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. This week I made a short video for each 2502 tester and a pic or 2. GH Flora Micro ½ tsp /gal Gro ½ tsp /gal Bloom ½ tsp /gal Fox CalMag ½ tsp /gal PPM 573 & 715 when I added Plagrons Royal Rush 4ml. So I'm flushing this week, Sunday I used Flawless Finish and watered heavy early, and did a 2nd plain ro flush 6 hours later, I did the same thing Monday. Tuesday I did not give any water at all, Wednesday I flushed the same way with Flawless finish, but water 2 times after that night, I let everything dry Thursday and Friday, It is Saturday, Today I have used only RO water, I am done adding anything. I think I could call it good, but I am going to keep things going after today, tomorrow/Sunday, and Monday, I will not water again, Tuesday the light will not even come on and I will give it a couple days of dark to finish. I could use some tips on how to get some better pics. I try, I really do, but I'm not getting the pics my eyes are seeing, so in the center of the area is all yellow and marooning leaves, and the buds have a pink tint in that area. The trics are getting there, but not yet, I figure by end of week they should be right... almost all cloudy now, a few clear left, but barely any, the few amber here and there, but I'm also not taking a piece to check from the top either, I gettin a look at a few small little buds, near the top, but not the top, I feel like I'm close... , So anxious had to phone a friend to tell me why to wait today... lol, I'll test my runoff ppm's tonight just to be sure, but the way the coco is taking the water makes me think its clean. I'm always ready at the end, Garden of Green seeds have ALWAYS made me look like a great grower. I'm excited, The smells, is very strong, it has a sweeter smell, next week I should have harvesting pics... Thanks for checkin it out

Much better harvest to end this first greenhouse grow. 48g dry on this plant. Still quite airy, but resinous and great smell. More relaxed effect than harvest 1. I could have done with another week or two with her, but the humidity was regularly into the 90s, there was very little sun and nearby tomato plants were starting to grow mold. I cut and ran, I need these meds to get me through the winter. Final total for both plants 59g. With a bit of luck, this should keep me medicated for a while. Indications are good.

Ya era hora de cosechar, estoy bastante contento con los resultados. Vaya flores que se han marcado repletas de tricomas, y las flores se marcan aromas dulces y afrutados. Es una variedad bastante fácil de cultivar y muy resistente, crecieron desde el principio bien vigorosas, sin problemas y al final de todo recompensó. Las condiciones ambiéntales han sido máximas en 25 y mínimas en 20 y una humedad estable en torno al 36% al final de floración y en el secado. This cultivar has been an absolute pleasure to grow. Her buds are looking beautiful and frosty and her terps have really gained some complexity over the final two weeks. The density of this flower is phenomenal! Even the lower buds on this plant are incredibly dense. I decided to harvest her on the morning of her 59th day of flower. I will post the yield and smoke report in a few weeks! Thanks for following my grow!

Las semillas fueron plantadas correctamente en el sustrato previamente inoculado con tricodermas. Un riego abundante cubre su manto y el humidificador llena el aire creando una niebla atractiva para los brotes que vendrán.

13 short week cz im on vacation. I got the biggr tent and moved the plants. I then lolippoed them and tied them to the frame of the tent. it's a 2m height and I hope this will fix the issue.

Chimera was 🔥 I got 8oz and a 1/2 . 4oz from the more purple leafs one and the least purple leafs had 4 and 1/2oz and i broke one top main branch by accident .Had 50 grams of sugar leaves and 100 grams of regular fan leaves ! Made 100g of regular fan leaves to 1 stick of butter and was night night i didnt think it would work but it actually did !! 😆 The more purple one smells and taste fruity and sweet and the other less purple was smelling like gas and now smells and taste like straight lemon 🍋!!⛽️ 🔥 💣 Next grow will be 12 clones in 2 gallon square pots in 100% coco and automatic watering every 6hrs and switching from Fox Farm to Athena blended nutes and see what happens !!!! 😆

She is turning into a a very healthy and beautiful girl

I started germination of this Gold Bar Kush bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cube with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into a 1 gallon pot. Plus get this lady situated into her new home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with GBK. It's a VERY robust variety packing hella branches, hella quick. Prime candidate for continues ongoing lst work. To maintain a clean,uncongested even canopy. She can become a jungle quick if left untamed. Shes very easy going in the nutrient department. Not hard to keep this one happy. Packs on lots of weight everywhere towards end of flower. Branches most definitely need some support or they will come crashing down. The flavor and aroma from this variety sre majestic. The intense indica effects are heavenly. Not hard to guess why it's back in the grow room for round 2.
