Day 22- She stopped putting on height due to one night of a dramatic temperature drop. It's a cooler fall this year plus a freeze came through the night before. That night, I was up doing some studying when I noticed the reading on the remote display. N o telling how long it had been in the very low 60's. The problem was fixed simply by adding a heater to the room. Now, the temp is only in the 68 degree range for the final 2 1/2 hrs. before the lights are cut back on. Day 26- Her bud branches hav grown at least 2 -5 innches in length and have at least 2-4 bud sites already. Instead of Defoliation, I decided to actual two different types of LST. The first is simply bending to fan leaf branches under to expose the bud branches to more light. The main benefit is that you still keep the ability to absorb more of the light energy with them. I look at the fan leaves as your plant's " Personal Sun Panels". Since they store energy in the day and use that reserve to grow at night, why would you take something away for her that is meant to help her? Also, the second method I used is something I like to call" wind thickening". The technique is using wind resistance to train your plant's stem and branches to become more rigid by growing thicker to stablize itself. So, instead of a gentle breeze, I use a three speed box fan at varies distance. I started doing this on Day 22 and the results are definitely showing. The main stem went from 1/16 in. to a nice 3/8 in.

Staremo a vedere! Ora siamo alla 16 settimana in tutto ragazzi una bestia! Jetzt sind wir schon in der Woche 5 :) Die buds werden sichtlich dicker, voller und harziger. Nun stellt sich mir die Frage wann ich die beiden Schönheiten ernten soll? ich hätte gedacht ich ernte in 1-2 Wochen, aber vorher möchte ich mir die Meinung von den Profis hier abholen :) Zu dem würde ich jetzt anfangen die Erde auszuwaschen, damit der Geschmack von den Düngern nicht ruiniert wird.

Alright folks always are now on day 18 and we are looking good. I did notice the plants needed water pretty badly. Hope I didnt stunt them. (Better than over watering imo) They did perk up once I watered them. They blew up since the last update and it was time to LST. Water the ladies today with aprox 8 cups of de-chlorinated water each, pH to 6.5. Moved the lights a little closer and added a new humidifier due to a break down with the old unit.

Slightly slower start and flower initiation with this one but impressed with the amount of flower sites all over and is pretty pungent although it’s merely just started flowering can’t wait to kick back and taste this one

This week was much more exciting due to much more knowledge gathered about what it is I have do. First big issue was that my ph levels were off (about 7) got my ph meter. Calibrated and now can di a proper 6.2. Plants responded right away. Started feeding once per day : - 2ml cal max - 2ml grow - 2ml micro - 1ml bloom These are from Terra Aquatica At the end of the week started to add liquid worm castings as well Found out that my coco is not properly buffered. Since it came in bricks and I added only water, so will add 4ml calmag. The runoff is steady for about 10-20%, except for one plant where its almost 50%. But as plant is the strongest it does not bother me right now. Made some major upgrades to my DIY grow tent and now it’s more comfortable and less stress to plants. And my second light came in so things look pretty good. Unfortently I accidently damaged one of my plants. But as it was the smallest one it didnt looked like it will make it anyway. So will have the opportunity to properly germinate and seed the new one.

***New Addition*** Day 82 - Big tank change out. Had a massive drop in pH while EC rose some again (Only been adding RO water the last few days to keep tank in check around EC1.2-1.3, had jumped to 1.6. PH Drop was from 5.9-6 to 4.9-5.0 from it being stable for 4-5 days). After epsom salting the leaves last week, still noticing some lower leaves "Praying" and some dead and drying ones hanging from the plant. Its getting to about the mid-way point of the plant now (again, all that's under the scrog but...) but getting too close for comfort!!! Have edited my formula slightly for this change out to: *2ml/L Bloom A & B (So 100ml of each in a 50L tank) *1ml/L Silicon *0.6g/L Epsom Salts *1ml/L 9/18 PK Warrior (This was a f**k up, should have been 0.5ml/L - hopefully doesn't impact or isn't the cause for Mg issues - causing a lockout) 2ml/L Sumo Active Boost 2ml/L Fulvic Acid 2ml/L Sensizym 2ml pH Down to bring the lot to pH 5.7-5.8 This brought me to about 1.6EC, pH6.4 (Expected value was 1.521 from Hydrobuddy Calc for the * ingredients - My water bases at 0.2EC so a close enough calc!!!) - Higher than I have been putting in but i think most of the EC rise is from the Sulfate in the Epsom Salts (The Sulfur alone is about 0.32EC). Also, with it coming late autumn and the tent in an outdoor cabin, got a temp controller to bring on a heater to stop the temp dropping below 16.5C...its now averaging out around 18.7 during the night so that's decent enough (Was potentially getting sub 15C - recent day temps have been 9-11C so could have been pretty chilly in there!!!). Also put my aquarium heater in the tank to bring the solution to around 19C as 1 of the plants has grew an absolute root mass into the tank itself - It is defying the Smart Pots and getting itself into there even after a pruning a few weeks back!!! So, tank change happened a few days early but what the hey...passed the time with a hot whiskey or 5!!! :P ******************************************** Day 78 - Really haven't done anything with the girls the last week. Just been topping up with pH adjusted water, bringing down the nute strength a bit as they're taking on water but not really taking on any nutes. General monitoring. Think I am going to have to get a heater out in the cabin as the night (IRL Day temps) are getting 15C and below so worried that could be impacting some nute uptake - Gave them an epsom foliar last night and then the bi-weekly Geisha foliar spray just before lights out this morning. Apart from that, nothing new. Happy growing all.

Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. Beautiful , hope there is not much seeds. I used some crop steering this round for the first time. I will refine it in the next round. I've tried a advanced nutrients sensi bloom professional in powder. Part A do not dissolve fully. I've had sediment shooting on tank for week and not dissolve. Also when I tried to make some stock solution. There was a lot of white powder on the bottom of the bottle after many days. Even though I've shaked the bottle every day. I think it's unacceptable in this day and age to sell something like this.

Bloom week # 1 , had to dial the nutrients back a bit but I think I’ve got it dialed in now , explosive growth now with the heat pump and Co2 are in a sealed room . Lots of new shoots , going to be a very full canopy . Did some cleanup in the bloom room last night and lollipoped the Zombie Kush , will finish the under canopy cleanup this weekend

Starting the week with most fan leaves removed and fresh water/nutrients 280ppm for now but will increase if she response well. Day 58 fed her again : 380ppm Day 60 noticed a small amount of white on the flowers turning brown...most likely nutrient burn so I added 1 gallon of distilled water to dilute. This week has been pretty laid back letting her do her thing. I plan on feeding her again in 3 days to 350ppm. She's starting to get frosty!
