Hello growmies! Welcome to week five of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! The girls are all at different early flowering stages, but they are only days apart from each other. I have a bit of a quandary now though, as I am no longer following the nutrient schedule as these plants are too fast for it. So I am unsure whether to start PK warrior or not yet. I have also realised I have probably underfed them in the last week or so, which to be honest isn't a big deal for me right now as they are already waaaaaaaaaaay bigger than expected. Let's talk about that a moment. This strain has an average height of 50-70cm. I wonder if those numbers were for soil grows? It seems for coco you will get even bigger plants. Case in point these six girls measured at 3pm 24/7 day 30 as follows: Plant 1: 111cm Plant 2: 99cm Plant 3: 90cm Plant 4: 89cm Plant 5: 85cm Plant 6: 84cm Plant 3 appears to have stopped stretching and is the most advanced into flower. Plant 4 is right behind it and has slowed down but not yet stopped stretching. Plant 2 is next in terms of flowering development her stretch is slowing. Plant 5 is still stretching rapidly and is coming to the end of preflower. No concern really at 85cm she has some room yet. Plant 6 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Slightly concerned despite her 84cm stature as she has been the most beefy looking plant all along, so I am expecting her to grow a good bit more. Plant 1 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Extremely very concerned about this one. The light is about as high as it can go. 111cm!! I have scoured the internet and the tallest Epsilon F1 I have found was 95cm. It's great that she is so happy this plant, but if she gets much taller I'm going to have to super crop her main cola. Whatever happens I am starting to dream of smashing my yield target out of the park, these girls are all impressive. Hard to believe they are just 30 days old. Plant 1: 126cm Plant 2: 107cm Plant 3: 93cm Plant 4: 94cm Plant 5: 97cm Plant 6: 96cm Plants 3 and 4 have stopped stretching now and are fully into flower. At 93cm and 94cm respectively, by the end of flower these girls may hit 1m but they wont go much more than that. Plant 2 looks to have just about stopped as well. It might go another 10cm overall. Plant 5 is still stretching but I think not much more. Plant 6 is still stretching and I am still expecting quite a bit of growth from her. Then there is plant 1. 126cm and still stretching. It has now grown beyond the height of the light. I hope it can somehow finish itself before it hits the top of the tent. I mean the secondary colas are over 1m already. It is a great shame this giant plant doesn't have more horizontal space to itself, either way it is absolutely shocking to see. I really do not want to super crop her, but am out of options. This grow, incidentally, constitutes the first and last time that I let any indoor cannabis plant go untrained. With basically 4 x 4 x 4 of usable space, training my plants is not really optional - and now you can all see why. This "50-70cm" strain has rapidly outgrown my space. RQS it may be time to revisit the height claims on this strain. Just saying. ### Week 5 Day 6 01:00 28/7 Rearranged the tent and photographed. I have been regularly rotating the plants and periodically moving them around. My problem is now plant one has already hit the top of the tent and there is no easy way to give it anymore space... still not sure what I am supposed to do but it's fine for now... tried to capture the problem with the photos. As well as plant 1, plant 6 looks like it's going to keep going for a good bit yet, and plant 2 is still putting a bit of height on. I took plenty of photos today to try and capture the essence of the jungle. It is quite unbelievable what these plants have done. I just cannot stop looking at them, they are magnificent. I have not fed for 4 days, will probably feed later I am just trying to slow them down a bit by not feeding them. It doesn't seem to be working. ### Week 5 Day 6 23:00 28/7 Defoliated heavily all plants. Fertigated 2l each. Removed some more lower side growth off the smallest plant (plant 3) to make space. Might leave it a few days before I photograph again. Plants 2, 3, and 4 are all well into flowering now, plant 5 is not far behind them, but plants 1 and 6 are still in preflower. :( What is really remarkable right now is the difference in colour between the plants further into flower vs the plants still in preflower. Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. Auto Purple Hulk Auto by MSNL Outside 👉Sponsored Grow👈 W10F6 8/17-23 This past week has been rainy and overcast from a tropical storm with temperatures mostly in the upper 80s. We have Hurricane Erin approaching and ate under a tropical storm warning with wind gusts of 30-40 MPH. While we won’t be directly hit by the storm, we will get the outer bands of heavy winds and rain. To protect my plants, I brought all the girls inside on Tuesday 19th in preps for the storm. I inspected each one for bugs, rot or anything unusual. I found what might be the start of bud rot in one spot and cut it off. 8/19 Auto Purple Hulk is 59 days from germination. MSNL says 60-75 days to harvest so it needs a week more. Next week with the hurricane approaching, we are expecting rain for most of the week. Given the bud rot I found and the pending weather conditions for the next couple of weeks, the remainder of the grow will be in the tent where I can control the environment. I also will be using the air conditioner to drop nighttime temperature. She is already purple but maybe the colors will intensify. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. SATURDAY 8/25: I prepped WW#2 for slaughter..one more good flush and a haircut. She'll have one more day in the sun, then it's a dark day and the axe. She's got a few resin leaks that I can't quite get a good picture of..looks like a drop of oil oozing out of a calyx. Makes my mouth water... Seedlings are doing well. I transplanted two of them into tall 5 gal pots and they are doing fine. EM#2 will get another nutrient douche along with EM#3 and both Candy Canes tomorrow. I'm thinking that might also be CC#1's last taste of nutes. An interesting thing about CC#2 is that while her trichromes are pretty much all cloudy and/or amber, the majority of her stigmas aren't withered...I haven't seen that before, but I've never really grown any indica genetics before this grow. CC#1 is delightfully redhaired. I jarred up WW#1 into 3 x quart jars, EM#4 into 4 x quart jars, and EM#1 into 4 pint jars (barely). Bought more quart jars later today and will rejar EM#1 tomorrow SUNDAY: I did the harvest report on WW#1, EM#1, and EM#4 today. EM#4 is now is 3 x quart jars. I harvested WW#2 today...yowsa! (see pics) I mixed up a batch of nutes for EM#3, but after a close look at everybody, I decided to start flushing CC#1, CC#2..they are both suddenly ready. 15-20% amber trichromes. They'll get a few more days in the sun before meeting their maker. I flushed EM#2 again. I'm gonna harvest her tomorrow. She's at about 25% amber trichs today! Really oozing the good stuff.. MONDAY: (queue Metallica's 'Harvester of Sorrow'..) WW#2 got the axe today and thoroughly saturated the air with her odoriferous emanations. A wondrous bouquet! The big tent is getting empty, so I rearranged the remaining girls for optimized PAR and spectra. I really need those seedlings and clones to hurry the phuk up. WW#2 is drying nice and slow in the top basket and EM#2 is now right below her in the second basket. CC#1 will be in the basket below them tomorrow...she's ready. CC#2 will also be drying in the next day or two after that. That will leave EM#3 (Bush Bitch) as the last remaining original member of this crop. Besides her, there's the Pineapple Express gift from my other diary and that's it for my bloomers. As I said before, I sure wish I had taken the fine print more seriously and believed that they'd really finish so quickly. I should have started these seedlings at least 2 weeks earlier... TUESDAY: I harvested both CC's today. They couldn't be more ripe. 68 days from seed...impressive. I just wish they had packed on a little more size in the first few weeks so that these super-sugary buds were bigger. This stuff is far more sticky and stiNky than the WW or the EM, but I'll be lucky to get 2 ounces from each of them. When you factor that in with the fact that I only got 3 of 7 to grow (one in current batch of seedlings), the taste/effect will have to be completely off the charts for me to even consider ever ordering any more of them. WEDNESDAY: I recharged 50gals of soil and have it cooking up now I gave Bush Bitch some water and will give her nutes on Friday. THURSDAY: The video I added today is the total harvested bud for this grow, minus EM#3/Bush Bitch...I'm betting she'll be 4 quart jars by herself. From right to left, it's: 3 x 1-quart jars of EM#4, 2 x 1-quart jars of EM#1, the 2 purple lidded 1-quart jars are CC#1, and the tall 2-quart jar between them is CC#2...the two red lidded 1-quart jars are WW#1, the 2.5 gallon jar is WW#2, and the 1.5 gal jar is EM#2. WW#2 was dry and went into 3 x 1-quart jars. She weighed 90g..not too bad. EM#2 is still in the biggest jar with the lid off and some bovedas. CC#1 was about 70% dry so I put it into a big jar with some bovedas and the lid open, branches intact. CC#2 was mostly dry except for her main cola. Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed

They’re growing well. Some lower leaves fade so I just pluck them off. The buds are all maturing at this point. Cannacheese is the largest lady and she drinks 2 L of water every other day, it’s almost hard to keep up with her. All the others are forming nice healthy buds. Pink kush is turning out to be the smallest of the bunch but her color is so nice! Her buds are still a little smaller than what I’m used to but I’m not surprised tbh I knew she’d likely be a smaller yield. Can’t wait to harvest!!

#1 first week in and she putting on some lovely blossoms....tied down a few of her branches (LST) and she is jus spreading her wings #2 diet seemed to be a off so increase potassium looks like it balanced out..jus watching it to see....also lock off extended hours of light so she can start to get ready to go into flowering

Let’s Go day 29!! This week went real nice ! Girls are staying very healthy and building up nicely and even started showing signs of female sex which is super great ! We started doing a little bit of leaf tuck training method on em , nothing to big as like I said I want these girls just to do there thang an grow more on naturally side! My Air temp and Humidity have been on point all week, staying from 70-75 degrees throughout the day and humidity staying around 58-61% humidity , my girls are loving that summer an 75 feeling !! Can’t wait to see what we do this week ! Hopefully you all enjoy, and are ready for another great productive week !
