this is a very easy one to grow with an enormous bag appeal true her all cycle, a must in any garden, her trichomes production is out of these world, as are them grams on them fruits, a true must for us all to grow

Easiest week so far, no problems just growing. I did spray some neem oil on my soil a few days a go to keep pests out of the fox farm soil. Week 4 will bring in topping after the next node grows in, should be 2 or 3 days. Also towards the end of the week after she recovers from topping I will begin LST. Will provide pics throughout the week Posted first vid in real light not my 600 watt LED. Mainly for health purposes. This will be so interesting to see how blueberry will develop after an accidental FIMing lol. Personal Note: Wait to top when there is a full mainstem and not barely new growth. Meaning wait til the new growth has 2 fan leafs spread out, and not when they are just leafs barley sprouted from the main stem. Rookie mistake number 1 so far at the end of week 3. Or maybe time will tell if blueberry will be gracious enough to be a beautiful big buded tree. I read where FIMing can develop up to 4 extra colas and still grow beautifully. Fingers crossed.

Day 71 - Starting week 11 and she’s really starting to fill in quite nicely. Did a little bit more of leaf tucking and will be giving her a feed of nutes in the next day or two. She’s got a really sweet smell to her right now. Day 72 - All looking good and not much new today. I did give her a feeding of nutes today and checked the runoff again and a tiny bit higher than I’d like, sitting at 7.1. Other than that, just removed a few leaves and tucked the rest. Day 73 - Noticed a couple leaves that have a couple “rust” spots on them so gonna try and get that fixed. Other than that she’s progressing nicely and will probably end op giving her some more water in 2 days. Day 74 - Nothing new happening right now. I’m just letting her do her thing and feeding her when she calls for it. I did rearrange her in the tent a little bit but that’s about it for today. Day 75 - The girl is still fattening up nicely but other than that, there’s not much else happening today. She’ll be ready for some water tomorrow. Day 76 - Gave the girl a heavy watering of plain water today and the PPM is at 223 right now so next watering will definitely be a feeding of nutes. She’s has quite some time left before harvest so not wanting to cut the nutrients yet.

Auto Lemon was cut down on March 17, 2018. The pics are from just before harvest. I'll add a Harvest update on GD after she's dried. But I think this might be the largest yield I've had to date. Looking forward the smoke report! 👍

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. 3/11 Week 11 a day early due to schedule - Day 26 of Flower Buds building very well no signs of any deficiencies and the tips are ok so leaving all nuets as is. Halfway to projected harvest date according to Fast Buds, I believe them from what I am seeing. Having some humidity issues due to our funky weather. Humidity running higher than is safe on lights out , 60-70%, so installed one small dehumidifier but getting a larger one today to add to it. That is the extent of our problems so aint beechin guys One final comment here, these Fast Flowering photo strains seem tailor made for growing indoors. The flowering times, the way they grow and the lack of strong odors even with larger buds just impresses the crap out of me. 👍 Fast Buds 3/12 - 27/Flower Continue to stack up the buds I had to raise the lights one click to keep em at 16" on both lights. The increased feed PPM is showing in rapidly growing buds. No changes in feeding at this time. My wife has sweetly pointed out I messed up reading the calendar. This is day 27 of flower 😜 Yeah it was real good for 23 days too LOL So FB pegged 45 days of flower on the FF7 , with 18 days remaining. Flush could begin in 11 days at the soonest. Which consequently is when I drop the seeds for the last grow before my vacation. 😉 3/13 Day 28 Flower Raised the lights up a bit, want better dispersal from the two light sources and since there is now almost too much light this seems wise as the buds continue to stack up. The two light together are 1100 and 700 umols at a minimum so with 1800 Umols (the same as a 1000 watt HID) I can afford a dispersed pattern of light sans hot spots and dark corners. Multiple light sources is the way to go no doubt now. maybe pics later if I've time. Pics 3/14 Day 29 Flower Ye though there be no toilet paper in the land we do have buds... This virus thing is just insane aint it. Why toilet paper I wonder... Anyway increased PK to max 5ml/gal as I see no toxicity and they are building like crazy so feed em. This is the last week for the PK booster cutting it out in a few days, plenty in the pot to carry her through the flush. No other issues to comment on pretty easy grow so far. Pics

Update - 4th July 2021 Just still flushing away. The colours that are coming out are crazy. I have edited some pics but not videos and the videos dont really pick up the colour. Its strange that it started completely green and then went darker and darker until it reached purple buds covered in trichomes. I am planning on harvesting both this plant and the purple punch today or tomorrow depending on when i can be bothered lol Tbh, its not hard because i dry trim so it's just a case of plucking off the fan leaves and hanging it in different branches.

This is a super strain no hesitation go get this one you won't regret

Had to axe out the HPS as summer ambient temps are too high , so I lowered the SE5000 to 10 inch off the canopy and the girls have loved it , buds are getting way fat and are covered in mostly clear some cloudy trichs, temps now are 27 c or lower in day time with no HPS , running a dehumidifier at the intake that is able to drop the humidity by around 20% but unfortunately some days I’m fighting 85% -95% humidity keeping a high rate of air turnover and circulation fans is keeping them happy .. finish line in sight hopefully only another 2-3 weeks . The little GZ auto was ready to go in bags today after 2 weeks drying and final weight was 130g around 4 and half oz , it tastes pretty good , sticky to touch and kinda tastes like pink bubblegum , a touch harsh but still needs a few weeks cure .

This was a good harvest for 9L pots and being a bit crammed into the tent. Like the others grown in this grow she probably would have come out with some amazing colours if I could have lowered the temps near the end of its cycle.
