01/21/2020 Got my Magic Beans, This will be the Blue Dreamatic -auto grow I have been doing research and hope i got it right. Seeds are courtesy of (42 Fast Buds) they are sponsoring this grow. So I think I will do a blend of soil 50% ocean forest potting mix will line the bottom of the 3gallon pot, top 50% will be Fox Farms potting mix(brown bag). (Have been thinking about it, decided to just do both runts under one diary and just using the Green Sensation on them both. Had only used growdots on the other one, but will be bringing the other runtz into this diary aswell) Beginning to add the Green Sensation nutrients this week. Really curious to see how she looks in the next 2 weeks now that its being added!. But these Runtz are growing well, looks great to me so far nothing crazy , bit different pheno then my other grow but I'm happy with both .. Can't wait to see how they flower fully. Not much else was done, I do regret not training but wanted to let it do its thing , didn't have the space for anything big (I never go for massive, one of these days I'll veg longer tho just for the experience of it) Had cut off a handful of leaves that were laying on each other. Did alil form of lollipoping but not extreme. And only plan besides Green Bay is the Recharge will also be used 1x weekly. Lights are currently around 32 DLI roughly 700/750ppfd off the top of my head. I'm thinking around 40 I may push to peak but we will see, no added CO2 besides environmental atleast its above 500 pretty steady raises to 8/900 amd alil higher when I'm in talkin shit to them. The water input is picking up in frequency aswell. Watering every other day still due to how cold it is they are drinking slow but their just about 3/4s of a gallon currently.. Temps have been way lower this run then I really wanted just last heater I had decides to quit on me.. big area so tough to replace that thing and of course it was just out of warranty lol by 2 months. The one is getting some purples on it this one's pretty light green , ec is in range after a quick lil media test, had been curious if she was hungry so decide to check did alil runoff when watered prior to feeding the plagron. Ec was fine and PH was alil low so bringing that up as I feed. Besides that tho , their smelling really sweet.. literally like a pack of runtz already ...anxious to get to smoke some of my first try at a runtz plant! Our Rainbow Sherbet has started to flower, the main lining here worked really well. Unlike the other plants I cut at the second internode to create the mainfold. This is a smart choice because autoflowering plants flower more or less at the 5th / 6th internode, if you have to do topping it is better to start as soon as possible to delay flowering as much as possible. Another reason for topping / mainfold at the second internode is that the plant is lower and you can work the mini brunches much better. In fact here we managed to create a T-minlining. In the sense that the mini brunches form a perfect 90 degree T with the main stem which is not easy at all. To do this you have to use the arches with the wire it is much more complicated and the cut at the second internode helps a lot. So topping at the second internode, mainfold and then continue for another three internodes and topping again. You can decide to cut something along the way I left perhaps too much stuff here. However, for better or worse, everything that can see a fair amount of light enough to flower well is left. The plant is a specimen with a medium internodal distance and I managed to work it reasonably well. We are still using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic. We have moved on to the flowering start card that maintains the same Power Roots additives - Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant dear in my house for obvious reasons of Biscotti. Of course the basic fertilizer now is Alga Bloom. The Green Sensation when the flowers are already a little swollen, do not start immediately. February 14, 2019 update: I rearranged the plants to get better airflow. In the video I mentioned that I thought I saw what might be spider mites. After closer inspection, I don't think its spider mites but more likely a combination of left over damage from the fungus gnats that came in with my wife's plant a few weeks ago (now gone) as well as ph fluctuations. But I like getting airflow on the plants themselves anyway, I just wish the oscillation worked on the fan I have now. I'll buy a new fan or two with oscillation soon. Also I failed to mention it in the video but there is also a ceiling fan blowing down on the plants. Overall, I'm very happy. The DinaMed CBD+ has taken the lead in the bud development category, Nice fat buds that are very dense. Sticky and stinky as hell too. She is supposed to be somewhere in the teens for CBD percentage and less than 1% THC. I'm hoping she either comes in below 0.3% or has well over 1%. I'm allowed to submit for testing 3 weeks before harvest. I'm going to cut a mid level branch and submit for testing next weekend. My other DinaFem strain, Critical +, is doing great too! She's in the lead with the most trichome development. Her buds are coming along great also! Not super fat, at least not yet, but great shape, color, density and have I mentioned the trichome development yet? 👍 This one is supposed to have mild CBD, low single digits, but high THC. I'm looking forward to smoking this one! Next up I'll talk about my Cream & Cheese CBD+ from Seedsman. She's in the lead with just overall looking awesome!!! The buds are long and super healthy looking with tons of leaves along the branches and I've defoliated a few times. The remaining leaves don't seem to be blocking much because most branches are bent over due to the weight of the buds! She is supposed to be in the 20's with BOTH THC and CBD. I'm looking forward to smoking this one also! 💪 That leaves the 3 Cherry Hemp plants. They are the smallest 3 plants in the room, but are all looking very good as well. They look like they are in the lead with possibly being ready to harvest earliest. I'm seeing the most amount of darkened and curled in hairs on these 3. The largest/oldest of the 3 is starting to show fading on the leaves. She may be ready in the next week or two. I'm waiting to start seeing some amber trichomes, so far they are still all white. These are supposed to be around 16% CBD and less than 0.3% THC. I'll be taking these in for testing soon and will be using these strictly for making CBD products - Salves, Oils, Capsules, etc... I'll keep you posted on this. This week I fed MegaCrop and Cal-Mag Pro (both by Greenleaf Nutrients). I fed according to their feeding schedule for late bloom. I think I'm going to stick with Greenleaf Nutrients for the duration of this grow rather than changing it up as I have been. Its super easy stuff to work with. 👍
