Week 3 for the solo is officially complete. She's been growing with no trouble. Root development has been excellent. As you can see, I decided to mainline. Seeing as she's in a solo cup, I'm not too worried about stunting. I'm horrible at measuring the water intake, but the cup needs to be watered daily. It's as lite as a feather everyday.

This week i’ve seen the most rapid growth. Was super shocked to see nearly all my plants as tall as me! Some leaves are starting to yellow a bit so next week i will top dress and carry on LST.

Thank you to RQS for creating and sending me this girl. She's fat, full of flavour and a pleasure to grow! Highly recommended even for a beginner. Thanks to all that follow, like and comment. Without you guys it'd be pretty boring so I appreciate all of your input! She was harvested on Day 58 and left to dry for at least a week. I then gave her a dry trim and thrown the buds in a jar for curing. I put a couple of boveda 62% humidity packs in there too, to keep the moisture level correct. I'll soon be switching to Integra boost packs as they seem to get a better review and are purposely made for cannabis. Because I have 4 seperate plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. Happy growing! 🐺

All plants are ready to come down now will be harvested in the next couple of days. As it ends in the tent there’s one Banana one 10th and the skunk Hero in joint position for best looking flowers, I really couldn’t pick between them so I guess all have lots to offer across phenotypes and it really is mostly good. The other banana and -0th are by no means bad oh they’re really nice too. The Genetics surely do pass the test for me. If you want to be sure what you grow will be of decent quality Ethos really are worth a try. Harvest this month will be bountiful, beautiful, aromatic and will fuck you up😉😂 all three had phenos that grew really nice dense flowers, the ones that’ll light up your eyes as you open up your stash pot.

I grew all of my plants the same and with 3 strains and only being allowed to have 5 plants total I have to pick the strongest growers and hope they stay strong and this time for me the gamble payed off nicely with a good harvest. I would recommend this strain as it grows fast and did not seem to be a picky eater and took in a lot of heavy feedings... AK-47 Goxuak Autoflower by Genehtik is a truly awesome plant and really really fun to grow! My 1st thought was I wish I had know more when I ordered the seeds. I only bought 1 from the single seed centre .com 🤦‍♂️ Of all the plants our house sitters watched for us back in week 7, this is the only one they regularly ask about and want to know when its finished. Even they loved growing it! And they only spent a week with her and aren't gardeners 😄 Ashoka started in a Jiffy tomato pod and was transplanted almost as an afterthought. In fact we ran out of containers and had to improvise with the water pitcher. (We didn't have high hopes) Oops. The pitcher turned out to be a big benefit in that I could see the roots and diagnose and potential issues. She has been in the same Fox Farms; Happy Frog soil ever since planting the pod into the pitcher. The soil held up good too. Ashoka didn't start showing any deficiencies until the end of week 6, around the middle of her stretch. Correcting this was very easy, we added the recharge at first but it didn't quite do it. We had to feed her Advanced Nutrients Bloom and Grow for about 2.5 weeks. But this Goxuak really never complained : 1:😎 Low Stress Training (LST) for Ashoka was a breeze! At 14 days she was 4" tall and too short to train. She doubled in height in a week and we started training around day 24. Just in the nick of time too! She entered flower about a week after that and stretched like crazy!🤪 the AK-47 gave us about 3 full weeks of nice flexible branches to train before hardening up. We ended up with a pretty even canopy and some solid colas too I wanted to touch on the lighting as there isn't a lot of options on this platform. Ashoka spent her life under 2 different lights. 1st, she sprouted and spent the first 4 weeks vegging under 2x Viparspectra 600w(250 true watts) LEDs at an 18/6 light cycle. She finished her flower and fade under A Optic 8 (500 true watts) LED. At 18/6 At around day 60 I started flushing her.(well my house sitter Sam did the first time) We used Cyco Kleanse and flushed 5 Gallons thru her until the ppm was down to 350ish, I did the next 2 flushes. The 2nd I used Kleanse again getting the runoff ppm to ~120. Her final week I stopped ph-ing the water and just watered tap. I also gave her the 3rd and final flush with straight Ice cold tap water. She really showed a great fade!! Some buds definitely colored up too!! Finally the Harevst: I put her in a 5Gal bucket of ice in complete darkness for 4 days.😈 This was done with the intent to help her produce more resin and frost up. I can't say if it truly worked. She absolutely doubled the trichome production in those 4 days, but idk if it was the time or the darkness and ice. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I kept her in a sealed closet with a oscillating fan and humidifier at 75°and 63%RH. On the 3rd day I lowered the RH to 50%. She got trimmed and put into jars on the 5th day after harvest. I am monitoring the humidity and burping regularly (8-10x a day) Smoke Report: Creamy pepper with a cherry syrup aftertaste.🤣🤪 I've only smoked a bowl so haven't tested the ashes. But she is curing nice. A bit harsh yet I expect will go away after a couple more days. The high is perfect tho! Just what we wanted. It creeps up on u. But you will be confused by the time you finish the bowl. A very cerebral high(I chopped her whole trichomes were only 10% amber) that was great with good company. My girl andI are both veteran smokers, but this bud still made us both giggly(a rarity). It's a good social smoke and was fun to be on around others. The only downsides were it caused a mild confusion and paranoia. Like I would forget what I was talking about then worry ppl were laughing at me for it(they were though) 🤣🤣 I plan to report more feedback after it had cured a couple weeks. I'll invite others people's opinions as well. Right now I can definitely say the AK-47 Goxuak from Genehtik it an autoflower I would recommend to anyone, but especially new auto growers. I will be ordering more next season if they ate available. Genehtik has won me over. They genetics were extremely stable and safe. No herms no deficiencies nothing but greatness! 🌱🌱🌱 I had to share! I was looking on the breeder Instagram page( @Genehtik_chile) and they used a few of my pictures of Ashoka to represent their AK-47 Goxuak auto. I really feel honored by this. I have only been growing for 5 months and know I'm not good, but it's inspiring and motivating when the breeder of the strain give you an attaboy like this. Thanks Genehtik! Fast Buds StarDawg Day 25 from sprout Light: ViparSpectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% watering every other day to every 2 days Im very happy thus far with Stardawg. In week 3 she has really filled out nicely with nice fat leaves. I have decided to minimally train her as well as the FB WG that I also have growing in the 4x4. 8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. IF NOT IM GOING TO TREAT THE THRIPS THAT ARE ON TWO PLANTS NOW. I THINK IM GOING TO GO WITH BT-K FOR NY PILLARS AND HOPE THAT THE DISH SOAP IN THE MIX KILLS THE THRIPS. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden. EDIT: Went over at about one to check things out and do some minor defoliation. I checked on the thrip situation and I dont know if I blasted them off with the leafblower or if the rain washed them away bit I doubt it. Ivecmade the decision to treat these little bastards. It's on one plant but it's started to spread to another branch on another plant. I probably just overlooked it but still. Seeing that it rained like he'll and I'm seeing like zero signs of septoria I'm going to treat everything. At least I think I am. I haven't decided what to use. I think I could just use bt and soap and I'd probably be alright. I'd feel better doing that as it's something I'm familiar with. Outdoor growing. It's always something. 8/19 In the 40's last night. Hopefully that will help with the thrips. I was hurried and since today tops at 72° I only watered the 10th planet big mk ultra and the chem dog with preventative plant doctor. I'm not seeing hardly any septoria and if I do itsca random leaf. I mixed up 3tsp of citric acid and some Dawn in a 2 quart hand sprayer and treated the 10th planet that I thought had heat stress and the Pink kush in the ten gal that has the damage. I also treated a branch on my good tenth planet. It was the only branch with markings so I think I've got it early enough. I'm just wondering the best way to tackle this. The pink kush I'm sure, could handle spinosad. That strain is much later flowering. I'll see how the citriccacid works and go from there. If the other girls need water they'll get it when I get home alongcwith plant doctor. I've got some work to do. I'll keep this updated. Opinions are always welcome.
