End of week 7 going into week 8. Lots of pistils popping out but still don't have that bud fattening I was hoping for, not enough light and temperature a little lower than normal are slowing it down I suppose. The plan is very compact and sturdy and start to smell everyday more. Buds appears to concentrate on the main cola, all the side branches are not giving much. I defoliate it a little bit to help sunlight to reach inside buds, I think i removed less than 10% of its leaves, some of which were half eaten already by my cat. Feeding schedule is getting heavy but the plant doesn't seem to feel any stress about it. Thanks for passing by and happy growing 🌱🌲🌳

Week 7 Update – Recovery and Growth 🌿 Sorry for the late update—I was completely out of commission the past few days 🤢, but luckily, my girlfriend stepped in and took care of the plants. The good news? The stretch is finally over! But note to self—never again 9L pots for plants this size! 😅 BioBizz#1 – BT23 Despite a “drain” pH of 7.8, she’s doing okay overall. However, this will be my last run with BioBizz. While I’ve managed the CalMag issue this time, Advanced Nutrients has completely won me over. AN#4 has thicker stems and looks more vigorous, and AN#3 bounced back quickly with AN nutrients. AN#4 – BT23 She’s praying to the light every day and is officially the largest and healthiest plant I’ve ever grown—no deficiencies so far! 😍 AN#3 – BT19 I had to defoliate heavily, but you can barely tell. Height is becoming a challenge, so I’m hoping it just barely fits—because it has to! 😅

It was a very dark week. Not much sun. Hopefully it will get better 😄👨🏽‍🌾 I think 10 degree is the border of outside Temperatures.

Week 10: I loved growing this strain, it smelled so fruity while the buds were on the plant. Towards the end of flowering the buds looked sugar dipped as described on the website. The sap from inside the stems smells like skittles and sugar lol which was a nice surprise! Most pistils are Amber so idk what the THC/CBD ratios are going to be. Il give an estimate once buds are cured for 2 weeks or so! So I’ve managed to get some street weed to compare alongside my own weed and I’ve added the pictures to the harvest so you guys can see them. I tried to pick the best street weed from about 4 varieties so here we go... The street weed is called Wedding Cake, my weed is obviously Smoothie and I suppose what I want to know is how the street weed looks, does it look healthy? Any guesses as to how it was dried or cured if even? The first noticeable thing is that the street weed stems are huge and the sugar leaves seem to be left on the plant to dry too. Although I did leave sugar leaves on this time I feel that it’s not very professional. I have smoked a joint of the wedding cake and it’s not all that great, feel a bit sedated/couch locked but not high or happy if you know what I mean :) but yeah please let me know what you think in the comments :) Curing Update: (1) Been curing for a week and buds are definitely smoking much better now, the taste and burn still isn’t amazing as it needs a few more weeks curing but it’s unique and exotic. It’s very strong when it comes to THC, because it still needs further curing you could smoke a whole joint and think damn that’s still too fresh to get me blazed. By the end of the joint you would be struggling to keep a conversation or stand up, Stoned eyes that even eye drops won’t cure :’D and it’s also a real head high in my opinion, audio/visuals definitely enhanced too, everything is extremely bright, sharp and sounds great! I don’t really care about time of day smoke as i could need something stronger at different times for pain etc but this is definitely a Nighttime smoke, it hits so hard that the best thing you can do is put on some music and close your eyes or watch a movie. An amazing strain for zoning out entirely into some chill music and if you need weed to deal with strong physical or mental pain or sleep problems then I would recommend giving this a go as so far it has been a lifesaver for me. Curing Update: (2) So I think the buds have been curing for just over 2 weeks now and they are looking great and smoking pretty well too. A few more days drying wouldn’t have hurt them but I’m not worried as my Blue Cheese and Pineapple Express harvests are just around the corner! I added some lovely photos and a video to show you guys how it looks And I’m just about to blaze up a joint from the last photo and tell you all how it smokes too... (Lights up joint) Slightly damp on lighting it up although it burns near perfect. Instant hit on the back of the throat with smooth/mango flavors. I feel a bit dizzy quite quickly and want to sit down and listen to music after a few tokes followed by a relaxed or mellow feeling. I’m about halfway through the joint now and I’m pretty stoned. Definitely sweet and smooth like blueberry also sherbet sweet like mango! I’m almost finished my joint now and I suppose to sum up I’d say that it’s much like the blueberry smoothness you expect mixed with the strength from a well grown mango. I felt that the effects are great if your in a nice comfortable setting, get relaxed, be creative, watch a movie or even get ready to sleep. I would avoid anything that requires a lot of effort. Personally I’ve had minimal problems with getting to sleep and with anxiety while taking this throughout the day and would highly recommend it! It’s the best thing I’ve grown so far :) Il leave a final review on the buds in 2 weeks, until then take care and happy growing! Curing Update (3) - 05/03/20 So I’ve finished the smoothie buds and I have to say they were great. The only negative was it’s my first time drying buds with trim and they could have done with a little longer drying. I made some canna butter from 3G of trim and 2.25g of bud. I made ginger cupcakes with salted caramel icing. You guys can see it cause I added a photo. I can only eat 2 per day with a heavy tolerance - sedative cupcakes hahah. DAY 56 SINCE FLIP:These girls are really trying to impress now they are so close the finish line. Theyballnhave their own unique look and smell and will be a very welcome addition to the stash box. Wedding cake is an top buddingnbeasty of a lady with some sweet , biscuit smelling and looking trichromes covering her swelling buds. She has burst open with a so many new pistils in the last 2 days that have given her main canopy a great appeal now. Each main has doubled in girth due to this and I think at least another full week for her is in order. Black Ghost O.g has pushed and pushed to get herself noticed with success. Her few buds at the surface are sweet ish smelling with a hint of a spice too. The lower parts are way too light starved to have been developed well but this was due to their poor start. Still pushing trichromes onto.the covered surfaces. She sont yield high but her smoke will.make up for it I feel. Gorilla Glue #4 is my secret favourite. She is so dusty withbtrichs and looks dangerous up close. She is clumped together from her needing so much support and I keep finding random arms on the lower portion of the plant that need bringing up again. She feels so tacky to touch and has a potent sweetness mixed with a spicey tang. I think she will be coming out any day now. Be well folks

Starting to see some pretty nasty mag deficiency on the top of the canopy so I fed them some Mag Amped today! Will be watching the tops this week. Otherwise, they are exploding with weight!

Day 64 : Week 10, I'm near of the end !! I give her less nutrient to 'wash' her and the last watering will be without nutrient. I think I will harvest in around 10 days, I can't wait to smoke her after she will have dried 😍

Great nose and terps. Cookies beats out Humboldt in quality. Yield was very low but that could have been growers error

they have had 4 days of extended darkness, i left the nutrient info there but i did flush for a week and a couple days extra (many experts say you only need to flush for a week but i like to do a week plus another 2-3 days just to make sure it's well flushed) if it doesn't display there is a video if you open the last picture and click the right side arrow button on it (next picture button) or i think you can click the little play button icon where it should display, they usually don't display properly for me on the page (also video upload is extremely slow i will add)

This week 18hr will be reduced to 12 hr end of the week, next week 12/12

Theres so much frost on the flowers that they dont look purple because the camera flash on the trichomes reflect

Sie entwickelt sich wunderbar! Ich dünge aktuell bei jedem Gießen. Alle 2-3 Mal gieße ich mit normalem Wasser. Sie riecht richtig intensiv und ist so klebrig und harzig. Beim vereinzelten Blattentfernen muss man aufpassen dass man nicht kleben bleibt 🤣

Growing great. No large issues. Just fighting the leafs every day. Pulling 20-25 leafs per day? Temps are lowering at night, want to say 62F is about the lowest i have seen. No bugs! No flowers yet, lite concerns on height. i have about 3-4 feet max to work with. can always scrog again or super crop.
