So week 15 and she’s been chopped she’s is massive and she smells great the colour oof her is mesmerising I can’t wait to smoke her 🔥🔥🔥💨💨let these hang for 5 days then started removing buds from stalk and gave her a little trim I’ll leave her on nets for a few more days before putting her in jars it’s taken hours to get through these two plants some parts Easyer to trim than others buts it worth the hard work in the end the colours are amazing and the smell is ridiculous so sweet leaves my mouth watering the buds are very dense aswell very happy with her 🍒🍒🔥🔥🔥💨💨💨💨🍒🍇🍇

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. Hey Cannafam happy weekend, Its been another mixed week for my gal, firstly i cocked up a bit by uping her feed on the PK side which shes had twice and ive given hercsome nute burn. Shes started maturing fast this week and reckon shes got about 2 weeks to go, so im just gonna lay off now and let her use upvwhats left in the soil. Her calyxs have been swelling nicely and shes now really frosty all over, i havent had the chance to but il try n do some good trich pics during the next week 😊 Environment wise ive had difficulty controlling humidity this week, shes at a VPD of 0.87 and the dehumidifiers been on 24/7. DLI remains at 45 but with light the same 62%(68 watts) but im going to reduce this also as she is lookin a little light stressed also. All in all shes looking solid in the buds department and really happy with her progress. Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️

She really has darkened in colour now, fans showing a deep dark Purple / Black, the buds themselves are a deep dark purple, and absolutely laced with trichomes 🤤 Picture update tonight📸💚

Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. I'm a bit bummed about this grow. I've read that you just need to force a plant to flower, that's 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark for the first 3 weeks (I had a tent inside the greenhouse) and then put it outside and it will continue to flower. I thought that was amazing, so I wanted to give it a try. Well, here we are at the end of the 7th week and it looks like the plants are going back into veg. Last year I didn't do up the tent for the last 2 weeks and everything was fine so I thought I would give this keeping it open after the 3rd week a try. Now I know. I can always turn it into hash, maybe dry ice hash. Here's another reason I'm bummed about this grow. I've got spider mites. I'm doing my best to knock them down with my hypochlorous acid. I'm spraying twice a week, but had some yellowish looking leaves, I reread the article (I put up a pic of it a few of weeks ago) and found I had to rinse the indoor plants. So after I sprayed the 1/2 strength acid I waited 10 minutes and rinsed with water. Today I can see more mites than when I sprayed before. So next time I'll wait till the 1/2 acid mix is dry before I rinse the leaves and see if that knocks them down more. If you don't try new things you don't learn. That's what this grow is about, to see if the plants can still keep flowering at my latitude and now that I have mites, to see if the hypochlorous acid will work without killing the plants. Yes, I'm 60 something and still learning. 😃 Be Great. Chuck.

Day 29. No feed still. I spray them with Bio Heaven and CalMag light mix, sometimes adding a bit of Silica acid too. All not higher than 1ml/L. Think this week I will try to push best ones, smallest coming up too, but very slow, droped them to the shade and don't put any hopes into them. Day 33. Did little repositioning, space looks better now I think, plus big plants should be happier. Spray spray spray ;)))) Happy Growing !!!

Stipped giving them seaweed. Spraying with baking soda and liquid soap mix once more. Theres little bit of powdery mildew but I defoliated those parts. They probably have stopped strenching. Now the flowers have began growing alot.

Lowered the lights a good 8-10inches just because i realized i could get them closer without burning! Going for around 6-7 inches above canopy getting the temp in the high 70s low 80s om top canopy. All pheno are getting very unique and super resinous! I have a slight lnat problem going to spray this week when i get paid
