Very Good Strain

5.01.23 Thursday Day 81 Well first things first, happy new year and apologies for minimal updates in December. Switched to 12 12 on Monday and scrogging it out this time round. The Runtz, seem to grow more than the cookies during veg and take up more nitrogen than then for sure, they're green as fuck. One of them (top left) has to be there greenest green I've ever seen on any plant ever. Hopefully they're gonna stretch nicely, I may have to remove some more lowers in a couple of weeks.

First week of flower not much to do, defoliate few leaves and leave the plant to do its thing. As far as training most of it is already done now so just letting plant stretch up and get some decent height.

Things are winding up! Have been flushing #2 for a couple of days. Replacing half the water each day.PPM is under 100 and that's been consistent for a day. The harvest will be going into a dark closet in a day where it will stay for 7-10 days (7 I'm sure), then be jarred for curing. 20 branches harvested! BHB#1 is still packing it on! Guesstimate, two more weeks. Will start flush Wednesday taking 50-75% solution out and replacing with water. Weights will be shared after #1 has dried. Have had a couple 'testers' already and am not disappointed. Harvest was better than my last soil grow and this first DWC was not a disaster. I'm happy with it. Hi everyone! THIs is my first grow and any tips and constructive criticism are encouraged. Right now they’re in a five gallon bucket with a 60watt cfl light in the top wth the lid closed. BLacked out walls from outside stops the light from being exposed and keps it inside. I plan on ordering a grow tent very vey soon(2x2x3) with a 1000w led grow light.

Update Day 22 flowering: A good week of bud building this week for the Fft Girls. FFT#8 Is still in here but not a lot tonsay about her really sadly I didn't get to try this one out properly but will try again sometime. FFT#9 Has been a dream to work with and build so far . Her progression this week on her flower building has been perfection. Her ruderalis traits had her stretch about finished at day 12 and she had begun to flower properly. I did a defoliate at day 19 instead of day 21 due to their faster genetics. They looked stripped below decks but by day 21 they refilled a few back out and now look leafed up again. lol She has a little tackiness tot her stems now and is picking up a nice piney smell. She has some great looking mains now and should be a good yielder. FFT#10 Another winner in my book. This lady wanted to grow her own way initially but has now accepted her fate and behaves as i wanted niw. lol. Her budstacks are a little wider apart due to her indica/sativa ratios being more indica I feel . Her dark green colour is so stark in contrast to the other strains too. Her stacks look more leafy orientated than the other strains too. i defoliated her too but she responded quickly with sugar leaf growth. Her bud sizes are looking promising to say she has 4-5 weeks to go so fingers crossed for baseball bat colas. She has been easy to grow with no issues at any point so far. prior to the defol , I had purposely dried them out to get a cycle going better of wet /dry. She showed her disapproval first with major leaf drooping across her whole frame. She is a thirsty girl too. I am happy with all of these testers and impressed at their rapid development too. I do think the new sp3000 has plated a part in this development too as the extra reds and stuff added are more for the flowering cycle than previous sp series ones. the Sp250 is giving me a great addition to the outside edge of the girls so should keep them all in max lumens until the harvest. Week 7 of flower starting today for this amazing Green Gelato Auto and man she's fattening up fast these last weeks and she's stacked with trichomes .. When opening the tent I can smell a gassy citrus smell with some sweet earthy tones too just like they describe thid strain on the site .. So for now i will slow down feeding considerably and then flush this bad girl with ph'd water and flawless finish.. Update Day 80: Hello everyone i inspected her with the lens and i saw even too many amber trichs on the buds this means the THC is already decreasing in favour of CBN so i decided to cut this baby tomorrow at night time so will post more pics after cut then going to make a final harvest update with the dry weight !! 15/09 she's turnin brown on the tops 20/09 she is not turning more brown, getting a bit thicker.... Humidity 60+ and spraying her, felt like she was dryin out, want to keep her goin... She's goin to spawn seeds I guess, but she is gaining nicely!!! 22/09 she was turning more brown, was going to lose more than she gained, she's partly Amber with some dry spots, too bad for that SO CUT !! 84gr wet, just like her sister!! I swear, she smells like roasted coffee ❤️❤️ so yummy!!!

Was definitely a good grow. Results not so impressive but my LED stuff wasn't so good. Hurry the get new one to blow this tent again. Aromas were so strong ! My carbon filter wasn't enought to keep all these odors in tent 😂 Grew in Plagron Light Mix, with Terra Grow, Terra Bloom and Green Sensation. Really good products to me, really effective. So I think this was the 7th week or so but I flipped to flower with a 48 hour dark period around day 53ish. I opened the tent to neon budsites!

Well i ran into some problems, water temps too high over the weekend (i wasn't there) but roots and plant still looked healthy despise 24,5°C water temp over 2 days. I added 2,5ml each Hydro A & B on day 15. EC rised to 0,89 / PPM 445 and two days later ppm still the same i guess because the only part of the root touching the water couldn't uptake any nutes because of the high water temp? (everything above the water looks healthy af tho) Since my apartment is usually really hot in the summer i bought a TEC peltier water cooler + pump and a thermo regulator to ensure the water temps will stay between 20 and 21°C. i just need to wire that up and diy saved me me a lot of money. i payed about 100€ and have automatic temperature control and a cooler from amazon about 200+ € so i think its fine. I'll show you the set up once it's completed and works. Its the best budget cooling i could get my hands on imo. Today is Day 19 my parts came and i really managed it to half ass wire shit and not burning down something. wish me luck. I payed a total of 93,22€ and now got a really quiet, 150w DIY Peltier/TEC) cooler that automatically turns on once the water temp hits 21°C (69,8F) and stops when hitting 20°C. So far its working REALLY well. like im amazed and so proud i managed to do that and it was pretty easy. i had big problems with temps in my attic flat and water temps quickly rising to 24° and more which means root rot. Since i use the cooler all new roots just looking healthy as fuck. the plant is growing well and i see every day progress. So i saved a shit ton of money. the cheapest water cooler i could find on amazon was around 350+€. Sure it bet it works better, is safer to touch, not very likely to cause burning down my house because i had to twist copper wires together and let 230V run trough it BUT no way i have that much money for things like that. The cooler cools water temps from 21,5° to 20° in about 15minutes. the longer it runs the better it cools. i bought a temperature controller outlet ( 25€) which let me set 2 temps and it turning the cooler on and off. I had to cool it down manually every 2 hours before with frozen water bottles💀 So here are the stats for day 19: Water Temps: 20-21°C / pH: 5.42 / PPM: 485 / EC: 0.96 / height: 2,5cm (lol) (i added some more Hydro A and B because i thought i maybe see some nitrogen deficiency) i bet i will see some RAPID growth now since everything is dialed in, hopefully lol 150g im coming!

DIARY Plant was given nutrient solution every day when the sun went down in the concentration down bellow -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.8 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->0.6 mL/L When I mixed all the nutrients in the water the ppm was 840. That is quite high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 590 ppm Day 50 It was time to bend two new mains, they were long enough to be trained. Firstly I drilled two holes (parallel with mains) into the side of plastic pot. Then I bended one main at the right angle and secured it with electrical wire to a drilled hole. The same was done with the second main, but I was more careful while doing it because the main stem was already under tension and I was afraid it would split. Bend down mains that now resembled letter T were also topped, so I was left with four new terminal shoots. Day 52 Plant recovered very quickly. Two mains turned upward just after two days. Day 55 Four new shoots are growing were quickly and are already about 3.5 cm long. OVERALL PLANT CONDITION Plant recovered very quickly after topping and bending, it also didn't show any sign of stress. Before bending it was 16 cm tall after bending it measured 12 cm. Overall plant is healthy and it doesn't look like it suffers from any deficiencies. Day is about 15 hours long and plant is receiving about 8 hours of direct sun light. REPORT ON CLONES Clones are doing OK and look healthy. I watered them every other day with tap water WEATHER REPORT Day 50-51 Weather was sunny. Average daily temperature was 30 °C. Day 52-56 Weather followed similar pattern every day. It was sunny at morning and afternoon, and it was raining in the evening. Temperatures were around 26 °C during day and 19 °C during night. I also captured some clouds (mammatus clouds) with interesting shapes at day 52, they look liked child drew them.

I did not top this girl, yet. Her top lowers started catching up to the top so I didn’t want to stop her yet lol. But all in all she’s looking healthy.
