Día 08 Entramos en la segunda semana de flora. Hice la mudanza y tuve que cortar un poquito de raíces ya que se habían ido por los caños hasta el depósito. Las raices estan tan crecidas que no puedo ni levantar las plantas con su canasta. Así que no pude enrollarlas para meterlas en el caño otra vez. Incluso me encontré con que las raíces se metían por los tubos negros de goma que las riegan. Tuve que sacarlos y destaparlos. En definitiva ayer hice un lavado preventivo con agua oxigenada para limpiar toda posibilidad de hongos en el sistema. Por ahora se las vé sanas y avanzando. Estoy esperando a que termine el estirón para hacer una poda de hojas. De todos modos voy a usar un tipo de poda que ya he hecho antes y me ha resultado muy bien. En lugar de cortar lad hojas de abajo, corto las hojas grandes de arriba, y de esa forma dejo una base de hojas en el medio de la planta, que alimentan a todas las ramas. Y así no tengo nada que tape la liz a las flores que quiera dejar. De esa mitad de planta para abajo, no qieda ninguna rama. Ya fui cortando algunas. Pero la semana que viene voy a hacer la poda más real. Me asusta un poco el tamaño de las raíces. No sé donde puede terminar esto. Dia 12 Hoy hice una defoliación fuerte. Corté muchas hojas y ramas. Pero el corte que hice es un tipo de corte que ya he hecho antes con muy buenos resultados. Elijo una altura que suele ser entre el 2do y 3er nudo, y corto todas las hojas grandes de arriba, dejando sólo las hojas grandes del medio y abajo. Todos los ápices que dejo, estan por encima de ese nivel de hojas que dejo. Por debajo de eso nada. De esa forma la planta sigue recibiendo luz en todas las flores, y en las hojas abajo de ellas. Solamente me preocupa que se han juntado mucho las ramas principales de cada planta. Así que voy a tener que aplicar un LST intensivo cuando empiecen a engordar. Seguramente ahora empiecen a tomar menos agua, dado que con la cantidad de hojas que había antes, transpiraban mucho. Ahora será cuestión de ir vigilando el engorde y no fallar al momento de splicar nutrientes. Para la 3ra semana pienso empezar a sumar big bud a la mezcla que uso. Y mantener el bud blood, pero a mitad de dosis. Al final se volvieron tan tupidas, que no pude dejar una sin cortar hojas, dado que ya estábamos hablando de hojas abanico que atravezaban casi todo el indoor a lo ancho. Espero que pronto empiece la floración propiamente dicha

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

*Week 5 Flower 09/24* Thus far both both plants are flowering and budding nicely, Trichomes are setting in accordingly, Increase in Phosphate and Potassium nute feeds. Both plants have appeared to stop growing in height settling in at 48Inches. Top COLAS are pretty dense and the aroma coming off both of them is bright and vibrant White Hairs are starting to turn bright orange. *Week 5 Flower Mid week update - 09/28* Both plants have reached max height (48 Inches) Bud sites are filling up and have become more dense with trichomes cover through the flowered bud. 60% orange hair coverage - Nearing harvest *Week 5 Flower End week recap 09/30* Both Apple Fritter and Critical+2.0 nearing harvest Cutting back on nute feeds starting tomorrow and will increase clean water feeds Flushing will begin in a week - both will be harvested in 2 weeks.

Day 99 - Cleaned all of the underside below the second net. Watered with 4 litres of water with nutrients listed above. Day 104 - Watered with 6 litres of water with nutrients listed above. Day 105 - All flower sites are shooting out lots of Pistils, plant still shows signs of stretch and I think she still has a bit more to go before she settles into her finishing height.

Nice smoke, still currently curing but will become better with age of course. A strong indica as described and exactly what I was looking for after smoking a bit of Sativa for a while, perfect for a quiet night in chilling on a Friday or long day of work. Would recommend for sure.

Bienvenidos camaradas cultivadores, siete semanas de floración y las dos últimas con problemas de bloqueo de nutrientes que se ha reflejado en las hojas de las dos ramas principales, quemaduras en las hojas y marcas claras de deficiencia de Manganeso, el consumo de agua estaba en bajada desde hace dos semanas, y una vez más, mi falta de reflejos me ha impedido comenzar antes a tratar el problema. Ya sabía yo que esta cepa, con semejante nombre Psicopático me iba a dar problemas!! 🙄 Bien, es el momento de los fuertes!! 🤜🤛 ACTIVIDAD SEMANAL 💀 Día 84. Muevo la planta a mi carpa principal donde tengo como lámpara de dosel una magnífica MH TS1000, apoyada por otras luces que aportan espectros de luz más cercanos al rojo (2700k, 660nm, 2000k, 3000k, IR 730nm que enciendo 15 minutos cada hora.) Días 85, 86, 87, 88, 89. La planta no reacciona al último riego con agua de montaña y melaza, sigue perdiendo hojas completamente amarillas de la parte baja de la planta, en los dos últimos días, en la parte superior de las dos ramas principales han vuelto a aparecer manchas en las hojas más grandes, ahora también rizado de las puntas... muy feo!! Día 90. Acudo al cultivo dispuesto a intentar solucionar el bloqueo de nutrientes. 1º. Preparo una mezcla con agua de montaña y Ormus que aporta calcio y Magnesio y ayuda a la asimilación de nutrientes, corrijo el PH con vinagre blanco. PH: 7.0, EC: 0.55. 1000ml. Riego rápido con esta mezcla hasta conseguir un buen nivel de escorrentía, recojo 500ml con un EC: 3.1 y PH: 7.05. Preparo una mezcla de sólidos (Ca, Mg, P, Fe, Mn, Cu, K...) que añado al sustrato, para que traspasen sus nutrientes lentamente en los próximos días. 2º Preparo otra mezcla suave con Agua de montaña, melaza, 3% de mi Biol de Frutas y minerales con Microorganismos Eficientes -EM- (MMA, BAL, Vitaminas, Azúcares, Micro elementos, Húmicos...) y Ormus 1%. PH: 6.59, EC: 1.15. 1500ml. Vuelvo a regar rápido para arrastrar nutrientes del sustrato y al tiempo aportar en ese agua los nutrientes de la mezcla que potenciarán el trabajo y reproducción de la microbiología del sustrato. La escorrentía la uso para regar mis geranios!! Día 91. Se ha notado el tratamiento, la planta parece hinchada, ha recuperado en 24h la tersura, seguiré con unos riegos suaves hasta estar seguro de que el problema desaparece. Aunque me preocupa el impacto en la producción, pues justo estas semanas son cruciales para el crecimiento de las colas. Rough week, seeing the full effects of nute burn and at the same time cal mag deficiency. Making some newbie mistakes here, didn’t realize how often I needed to give them cal mag so fan leaves started to yellow. Also didn’t realize the importance of watering until runoff with the medium I’m using so there was some build up causing the nute burn. PPM was 4000 when I flushed. I finally think I’ve got it all figured out thanks to friends with much more experience whom I should have reached out to sooner. Oh well, expected to make some mistakes and learn from them my first time around. Still have some big fat frosty colas! Can’t wait to take what I’ve learned into the next grow!

BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably.
