The Red Pure develops extremely quickly. I have therefore not been able to keep up with the fertilisation scheme in time to switch to the flowering fertiliser and also adjust the CalMag ratio. You can recognise a slight lack of potassium and magnesium. Nevertheless, it continues to develop very well and you can see how the flowers and leaves are slowly turning purple.

So, with the harvest complete and the dry finished, the rest is now going into jars for the final cure and storage. Overall I enjoyed this grow, it needed minimal interventions and had a smaller work load compared to the other grows. The amount of dried flowers is 752g (1.11gpw) so a decent haul, I threw a lot of B grade buds in the hash bag due to the large number of low level flowering sites (I need to rethink my canopy management) and also with the lack of stretch after flipping made the internodal spacing a bit too tight. Managed to extract 215g of grade a hash from her as well which I have pressed into a slab (pictures). I learned many things along the way, namely root health and the importance of keeping organic additions as low as possible. I also decided to try out clones for my next run, just to get a little more canopy and growth consistency - those of which are in an aeroponics tub at the moment waiting to root (picture). Haven't touched much of anything, and the roots are starting to find their way out of the basket.

I know she yielded less than optimally, but at least she made up for it with a really unique effect. Got like 40 more seeds of this so I'm likely going to do some pheno-hunting come spring with how well she performed. Love the taste and the look of the plant. Really wish I had knowledge of the breeder so I could recommend it. But that's the risk you take with bag seed. Not giving her 10/10 because she stunted for quite a while when I got her started in soil. So she may not respond well with higher stress root-conditions.

Using a 50/50 mix of Purple Cow IndiCanja living soil and Fox Farms Ocean Forest, just ph'd water using lemon juice to bring down my tapwater and mammoth P microbes. I brew teas with Nature's living soil auto flower line. Seeds in the soil 4/17...I plant directly into the soil without presoaking or letting a taproot grow, I've had 100% success rate so far so I'll keep doing it I think

Well here we are, only a week or two from finishing and this girl's has been a champ! Nothing happening this week aside from watching the buds finish swelling and colours coming in on the leaves. Smell is overwhelming stank, with a sweet undertone just filling the room (and the one above!) when I open the tent. Starting to notice water consumption is down to 2L or less per day which is not a lot for a plant this size, that combined with the colours and the leaves starting to dry and curl makes me believe that there's maybe 7-10 days to go. Not going to rush her, but will start checking trichomes daily to try and nail the perfect harvest window. The last week or two always feel the longest!
