Ok so I'm a couple of days later with posting, though the images are of last Friday. They went full into flowering. At the same time, 3 of the 4 have some weird growth going on. Deeply ridged leaves, a bit springy plants. I raised the lights cause I also saw white points and other leaf burn. I have to get used to the nitro-fueled energy of these thoroughbreds and the 'on the edge' style of growing that autos deliver, as a mostly photoperiod grower, this is both exiting as well as a bit out of control in the style of a rollercoaster, once you get on - you have to do the ride. All in all amazed with the vigor, though clearly, the XLs outperformed the Forbiddens in growth. I have so many conditions going on, however, that all will be too close to call for now and in the long run my results will have been tainted by my experimenting and finding all optimal with these rocket-style plants. I'm amazed at this growth as Jack must have been when popping his magic beans. Still, they keep developing and power through with bud formation. I have to watch these lights, the SP 3000 by Mars Hydro is so powerful, that also getting this light optimal is a whole learning curve, but it does deliver a punch. I think I overdid the amendments at the start with the blood meal and that's why I see ridging so I'm careful with the Nitrogen and give them lots of fresh water with just some topmax in between. They seem to hold out but its on the edge. As far as bending, after the initial bend, I saw many branches develop that are nicely outward, tucked some leaves but I'm happy with the shape of the plant and will let the center bud develop. The girls are really starting to take off now. They are growing on average 1-2 inches a day. we should start to see clear preflower this week.

I’m actually Super happy they sprouted on the 1st it just makes keeping track of what day your on so much smoother l think, but I think one was having a hard time getting the shell Off so I helped just I tiny bit!

Killer Kush #4 is about a week or more behind her girlfriends with flowering. I think i'm gonna chop the three girlfriends and give #4 a week more for flower buildup....she's the biggest girl it would be a shame for her not to reach her potential. The girls drink only like 4 liters of solution a day otherwise everything looks golden i decide though to change the solution for fresh maybe that will make them drink more I add: A: 50ml. B: 150ml. M: 100ml. X: 50ml. Ata Bloombastic: 60ml. Canna Cal Mag: 135ml. Hesi Powerzyme: 235ml. Ata Bloombastic: 60ml. Plagron Ph-: 55ml. PH: 6,45 EC: 2,0 I let the Ph stay at 6,45 because I noticed that after the water settles the Ph tends to fall a bit. 01.09. I add: Canna PK 13/14: 55ml. Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers.
