Day 42 11/08/24 Sunday End of week De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today again with calmag. 400ml with little run off this time Pistils on pistils now 😁 Starting to see the beginning of bud formations 💚

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. Alright ladies and gents we have finished week 6 and we are getting in on our way to week 7 as we speak! I was so worried because she started really showing signs of nitrogen deficiency so i decided to really up her dose on more veg nutrients, i went to another website for help because i couldnt get much fast help here which isnt too bad because everything is back to normal and shes looking really healthy besides the few leaves that got hit hard. She looks like she is starting to produce sugar leaves because there are small leaves growing out of where the bud sites are located and they have what looks like resin from the buds starting to form on them. I am not 100% sure as this is my first grow but ill be doing more research after i make this posting. But she is stretching like a son of a gun literally 12 inches in this weeks growth like holy shit! We will see what week 7 brings and hopefully next time i report back to you guys i will be showing off some nice buds starting to form until then peace and love everyone and i hope you enjoy this weeks time lapse! 😁

I think I won't add anymore nutrients to the water, instead I'll just let the plant fade naturally. It should only have another week or two of flower.

Week 4 Flower (11/24 - 11/30): Well, well, well... This was the week of thanksgiving and both of the kids parents were out of the state! We had to call in uncle Marcus to come and tend to them. We set him up with the second batch of tea on 11/18 (I'm sure I've given them like at least 4-7 batches of tea so far even though the feeding instructions said start during week 3...) but honestly, I feel like it was a good decision. The canopy isn't as leveled as I would like it to be, butttt there are ton's of bud sites coming up. I did a healthy defoliation (that honestly scared me).. but I think it was for the better removing any overlapping leaves, lower branches that were not receiving much light, and new branches below the top three nodes that were stretching to get light. The new branches were the hardest to remove, as it was hard to tell whether they could live on as new bud sites... but remembering that most of those were beneath the top of the canopy and that all energy is transferred energy.. guided our defoliation. We were home for exactly 24 hours between 11/17 and 12/1 and that is when we prepared another tea for the plants to get 11/27 from there they got one more watering of plain water before another tea to kick off week 5. The stretch is in full effect and they might get a little taller, but we can clearly see where the buds will be packing on weight soon.

Week 2 begins, not much to report other than the pro-mix HP hasn't dried out enough to warrant another feeding.

Lst adjusment and lower branch pruning

I’ve added VPD to my dashboard and have now dialed in my climate for a perfect VPD. Home assitant dashboard controlling lamp, up/down humidity and cooling. Exhaust is going to be used to scrub the air and back into the tent. After adding C02 I’m now doing a sealed grow to take better control of the environment. I was dealing with high temps I put a evaporative cooler just in case if I need to up the humidity or lower the temps.

Day 33: What an amazing height and bud gain in just 3 days! Lady #1 is 67 cm tall now, her sister a tad smaller. Both still have a great color, and I dared to cur away just the lowest branches and leaves that do not look like they could gain height in time. Really enjoying this strain so far! At the end of their day, they are a bit dropping leaves, so clearly no hunger for more light. The impressive growth speed continued on their buds: Tallest lady at 70 cm now. Their next morning shows growth is still at an impressive 5 cm/day as lady #1 with her leaves erected again stretches now 72, the maximum of my previous growth. Pulled the lights as close as possible to the ceiling and hope they won’t make it much more than 1 m. I activated the Sansi 30 W folded wings LED to give them somewhat of a morning and evening light and to add some more light to their overlapping center branches in the middle of "their" day. Sadly that’s causing some interference to the timelapse videos, but I can’t say they’re perfect if it wouldn’t. Watching the timelapse video of day 34, I have the feeling the additional light rather irritates them. Maybe the interference is not only visible for electronic eyes. I’ll keep it off next day for comparisons. Day 35 shows stretch speed has reduced indeed and they seem to be concentrating on leaf and bud growth instead. 75 cm, so we are currently at "only" 3 cm/day. Watered them with a HPE/Bud growth mix again last night, about 1 l each. Well, forget my words about reduced growth. After they recovered during the night, we are at 77 cm for lady #1. Which measured at 78 with hanging leaves in their day’s evening. I must have missed a day number – day 36 concludes their 5th week. I gave them another 2 l of fertilised water each and will lave them for the weekend again. Video shows that growth concentrates now more on leaf and bud development than on gaining height. So I guess my 160 cm tent will be sufficient. For a moment I was worried, but it looks like stretch is over. Anyway, time to rearrange the camera next week. Leaves are running out of focus.

Hey hey Growmies, the last res change took place this week, she's running on just Ph'd tap water, I want to try out flushing. there's a lot of debate and bro-science around flushing increasing flavor, burn-ability and high. I don't care about all that and won't take part in that mess, all I know is that it makes the flowers prettier, and I like pretty things. 3 days into the flush (today) fan leaves and sugar leaves started turning purple with dark red stems, I will continue to let her run on tap water until she's self cannibalised with a pretty fade, at which point I will give her 24 hours of darkness without water, which will give the plant one last chance to squeeze out anything she's got. That will be somewhere next week, since some trichomes have turned amber, If you're wondering where the time-lapse went, I have started on 2 new diaries. both by Zamnesia, one is a Wedding Cake Auto and the other is a Regular Runtz. Trying out a new way to start my seeds in dwc, namely Kratky, so far it is working out okay.. but yeah I moved my grow cam to the veg closet. thanks for checking out my diary, bud.
