04/13/25: The plants have now fully adjusted to their new environment, and all five are looking vibrant and happy. Leaf posture is strong, color is rich, and the canopy is filling in nicely. They’re handling the training and topping well, showing no signs of stress, and overall growth has remained consistent. While inspecting them before today’s round of training, I noticed what appear to be early signs of male pre-flowers on PP1 and PP4. It’s still too early to be certain, but it’s looking like I may already be down to three possible females. I’ll be keeping a close eye on them over the next week—things should become much more clear soon. Today I topped all five plants again—this time at the first node of each of the four main branches created from the last topping. This will help build out a broader, more evenly structured canopy. I also used plant ties to gently pull down each of the branches to open up light penetration across the plant. In addition to branch training, I used ties to lightly hold back some of the larger fan leaves on the lower two branches to help expose new growth sites. I’ll leave those fan leaves on for another 3 to 4 days as the new tops develop, then remove them to redirect energy upward and continue opening the structure. They were also watered today with a light nutrient mix, similar to last week’s. The plants still look very nutrient-rich, so there was no need to push the EC any higher just yet. Based on the current rate of uptake, I expect they’ll be ready for another watering in about 3 to 4 days. If anything noteworthy comes up—especially regarding sexing—I’ll update sooner. Otherwise, I’ll be back in a few days to document a light defoliation and any continued developments.

Transplanted in the afternoon of 10/23 because they were rooting out of the pucks. Got some humidity dome cups coming tomorrow and another inline fan to handle intake to try to dial in things a bit more. Growing well as the week ends, #1 is the big guy so far, growing really well. Kinda didn’t water for a whole been away from the house it’s on week 9 definitely gonna be watering a bit more frequently to get it back to its healthy state

Hi gromies Ive missed updates over the last few weeks phone problem! But the girls are going great!👍 I'm at the end of week 5 of flower. I'm pretty happy with it for my first scrog grow, could have been better, was in rush to get something into flower, started flowering as soon as they started to grow through net. Should have veged them & trained through the net longer to completely fill net. Pheno 3 was half the size of the other 2. Have started some clones from flowering cuttings, Monster cropping , it works great for increasing yield & saves me from having to keep motherplants. Amazing progress, the roots you see were developed in 8 days! Will start to veg them in the 2nd tent & start the perpetual harvest process. Have continued to grow this strain as I don't have any other seeds at the moment, though it is a nice strain! Definitely time for a change, hint, hint original sensible seeds! Or any other seed companies 👍

Growth has been slow but solid thought I'd do a update for the last 2 weeks, bud sites really stacking now getting very dense and sticky, its been a long grow but I think she's nearly there few more weeks, still not looking like a massive yielder but now the bud sites are bulking out and becoming dense I think it will be better than expected 🙏 very potent skunky smell coming off her

These girls are starting to get really big and bushy! This has started to become quite the sea of green setup but they seem to be happy and healthy still! These are definitely slower to flower than my other strains going in the other box but with the long veg/flower time with this strain I know I’m going to get a decent yield compared to the LSD25 and BlueBerry! Continued with a light feeding with Advanced Nutrients, I’m starting to see slight bits of burn on the edges so I will have to keep an eye on them throughout the week. Hopefully she starts to develop some big colas soon!!

Not a lot of change this week and the weathers been a bit nothing really. Hopefully get some sunshine next week .

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Coop Poop, Feather Meal, and Soluble Kelp are ml/gallon of soil top dressed. Everything else listed in nutrients is ml/gallon of water fed to plants without checking the solution Ph. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 73°. It was sunny, cool, and a dry 35% humidity. The girls are super happy. I'm adding 100ml coop poop top dressed to each pot today. About midweek I'll hit them with potassium. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 74°F. I watered about 5 gallons of well water. The nights are super cool and the pm is coming back. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 79°F with clear sunny skies. The temperature at night has been pretty low. Last night 41°F and tonight 44°F. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 84°F with sunny skies. The humidity is tipping back up but still below 80%. These girls are doing great. They are getting about 2 hours less sunshine than the other fastbuds I'm growing. It's definitely keeping these girls behind and affecting production. I treated with biofungicide today. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 87°F with partly cloudy skies. I watered about 5 gallons. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 80°F. Skies were cloudy and we have a hurricane now tropical depression about to hit. I watered about 5 gallons. No rain yet. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 72°F. Skies were overcast and there was a drizzling mist all day. Humidity was 110% for at least 24 hours. The girls seemed to be fine. There's more rain in the forecast and I'm hoping we miss it. This week was a success. The girls really started smelling loud and very citrus. Like really orangy smelling tang. These really have an awesome nose. The weather is being a little bit tuff. Other than that a great week.

All and all the 3 free seeds yielded more then I expected; I’ll update in a month or so

A another fastbuds strain thats grow soo wide and big. In week 2 the tropicana cookies looks soo small and week but now she is soo big. Love the diarie of this strain

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 We'll got progress going! Pictures taken on day 42 of flower. The smell is something that i'm loving. Although one smells stonger and sweeter than the other, they both are smelling great. I had my doubts about the nugs not being big or hard but it seems like the green sensation is doing it's job. There's been a good progress since i've started using Green Sensation. Glad to see that. In flower I feed with only water and 2ml/L of enzymes. Once about 10 days. Resin prodcution has gone up, buds are denser and a bit bigger. Which is good given that most of the pistils are still white and they fatten up more when they rippen. As long as things keep a stable progress, i think i'm good.

Day 28 - All 3 strains are growing beautifully & all seem very healthy! They all seem to be going into flower except the GSC but she should be following right behind them! Thanks for following & happy growing friends🙏🏼🌱✌️🏼
