Day 42- ok so start of week 6…..she still has a lot of potential. Top buds are swelling good. She smells of citrus, mainly the mandarin but the lemon twang is there. I knew she was looking light in color but we’ve already started the fade so I’m still feeding all the ladies the same.

Welcome to week 3 of flower for these fine ladies! As the stretching period comes to and end in about a week or so I'm excited to see the plant's develop their flowers. Some of the plants have already developed quited the frost for their age and as the cycle continues its just going to get more pronounced. Some of the plants are giving off a faint smell now mostly the Banana Smoothie smelling of cream and bananas so far. Overall I'm really pleased with what's going on so far and can't wait for further development of the flowers! This week marks week 8 of vegetation, and our girls are thriving! Let’s break it down: Growth & Structure All five phenos continue to impress, with strong, bushy growth and uniform structure across the board. They’re praying to the ThinGrowLED Model Ones, which have been running on channel one only, and they’re absolutely loving it. The leaf development is lush and vibrant, a sign that they’re thriving under the current conditions. Environmental Conditions We’re keeping things dialed in with stable environmental parameters: Temperature: 20.7°C Humidity: 57.2% CO2 Levels: 1569 PPM (a bit high but manageable) VPD: 1.05 kPa PPFD: 355 µmol/m²/s Each of these factors plays a crucial role in maximizing plant efficiency, and we’ll go deeper into why these values are set as they are. New week, new growth. So we have done another defoliation to allow the lower shoots to be exposed to the lights which equal to a better yield come flower time, they always need a day or 2 recover after being put under any stress, especially if its an extreme amount of leaves being taken off. They were also lollipoped to clear up and messy under growth and to improve airflow under the canopy. I also took clones from each of these. Paying close attention to the EC and pH. Increasing and decreasing as and when I need to going off what the plants show me. Close to flower now. A few days to go! This week the time had come, the plants were chopped down. They were left to dry for almost exactly 7 days, a little too long as it turned out. One head bud had to be removed from S.A.D. #4 due to the risk of mold. The yield was almost identical with a difference of 0.2g.

The girls are loving their new home and enjoying the heatwave we are experiencing here in Ontario. There was a big rainfall yesterday to break the heat so that was nice treat. I did spray them with a neem oil soapy mixture as I found a few bugs on the underleaves. Could have been aphids but I'm not 100% sure. Also found a few leaves that were munched on by Japanese Beatles. I've gotten rid of 2 of those Beatles already but seems to be the time of the season as they are all over my veggie garden too. I'll probably move them closer to my garden beds next to some companion plants. Maybe it'll help with the bugs.

Five plants were showing deficiencies last weekend, but had just watered so I waited until Wednesday to feed 2 tsp/gal Grow Big.

Loved growing this. Sang its praises rhe whole way through because it just looked like a beast. I like the pretty Cali strains but I always find the yields are close to frustrating for abilities not up up there. Overall the strain helped me take chances that paid off so I really enjoyed it. Will grow again. Threnneighbors should smell this on the balcony this summer 😂💚🙏🏼

Week 6 Report The plants are thriving with strong growth and great color. Day 39: The last feed of the vegetative phase—1L of water per plant. At this stage, they’ve absorbed everything really well, and this marks the final watering before transitioning to the flowering phase. Day 40: Defoliation day! I decided to give the 3 FullGas plants a proper trim, removing excess foliage to improve airflow and light penetration. These are the only plants that haven’t been topped so far, and they're responding well to this treatment. Day 41: Final day of the vegetative phase. All the plants have grown beautifully and are ready for the next chapter. They look healthy, strong, and vigorous. The plants are growing at a good pace, with no major issues. The Athena nutrients continue to work wonders, really boosting their health and growth. Some of the leaves are showing signs of thrips, but it’s nothing to worry about. Overall, everything looks great.
