Hello growmies! Welcome to week five of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! The girls are all at different early flowering stages, but they are only days apart from each other. I have a bit of a quandary now though, as I am no longer following the nutrient schedule as these plants are too fast for it. So I am unsure whether to start PK warrior or not yet. I have also realised I have probably underfed them in the last week or so, which to be honest isn't a big deal for me right now as they are already waaaaaaaaaaay bigger than expected. Let's talk about that a moment. This strain has an average height of 50-70cm. I wonder if those numbers were for soil grows? It seems for coco you will get even bigger plants. Case in point these six girls measured at 3pm 24/7 day 30 as follows: Plant 1: 111cm Plant 2: 99cm Plant 3: 90cm Plant 4: 89cm Plant 5: 85cm Plant 6: 84cm Plant 3 appears to have stopped stretching and is the most advanced into flower. Plant 4 is right behind it and has slowed down but not yet stopped stretching. Plant 2 is next in terms of flowering development her stretch is slowing. Plant 5 is still stretching rapidly and is coming to the end of preflower. No concern really at 85cm she has some room yet. Plant 6 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Slightly concerned despite her 84cm stature as she has been the most beefy looking plant all along, so I am expecting her to grow a good bit more. Plant 1 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Extremely very concerned about this one. The light is about as high as it can go. 111cm!! I have scoured the internet and the tallest Epsilon F1 I have found was 95cm. It's great that she is so happy this plant, but if she gets much taller I'm going to have to super crop her main cola. Whatever happens I am starting to dream of smashing my yield target out of the park, these girls are all impressive. Hard to believe they are just 30 days old. Plant 1: 126cm Plant 2: 107cm Plant 3: 93cm Plant 4: 94cm Plant 5: 97cm Plant 6: 96cm Plants 3 and 4 have stopped stretching now and are fully into flower. At 93cm and 94cm respectively, by the end of flower these girls may hit 1m but they wont go much more than that. Plant 2 looks to have just about stopped as well. It might go another 10cm overall. Plant 5 is still stretching but I think not much more. Plant 6 is still stretching and I am still expecting quite a bit of growth from her. Then there is plant 1. 126cm and still stretching. It has now grown beyond the height of the light. I hope it can somehow finish itself before it hits the top of the tent. I mean the secondary colas are over 1m already. It is a great shame this giant plant doesn't have more horizontal space to itself, either way it is absolutely shocking to see. I really do not want to super crop her, but am out of options. This grow, incidentally, constitutes the first and last time that I let any indoor cannabis plant go untrained. With basically 4 x 4 x 4 of usable space, training my plants is not really optional - and now you can all see why. This "50-70cm" strain has rapidly outgrown my space. RQS it may be time to revisit the height claims on this strain. Just saying. ### Week 5 Day 6 01:00 28/7 Rearranged the tent and photographed. I have been regularly rotating the plants and periodically moving them around. My problem is now plant one has already hit the top of the tent and there is no easy way to give it anymore space... still not sure what I am supposed to do but it's fine for now... tried to capture the problem with the photos. As well as plant 1, plant 6 looks like it's going to keep going for a good bit yet, and plant 2 is still putting a bit of height on. I took plenty of photos today to try and capture the essence of the jungle. It is quite unbelievable what these plants have done. I just cannot stop looking at them, they are magnificent. I have not fed for 4 days, will probably feed later I am just trying to slow them down a bit by not feeding them. It doesn't seem to be working. ### Week 5 Day 6 23:00 28/7 Defoliated heavily all plants. Fertigated 2l each. Removed some more lower side growth off the smallest plant (plant 3) to make space. Might leave it a few days before I photograph again. Plants 2, 3, and 4 are all well into flowering now, plant 5 is not far behind them, but plants 1 and 6 are still in preflower. :( What is really remarkable right now is the difference in colour between the plants further into flower vs the plants still in preflower. May 7: could have waited another few days but want to try raised beds with a few days of cold overnight happening soon. Forecast for next two weeks looks good to go outdoors for autos soon, but first we have three days with overnight at or just below zero. After Wednesday they can likely be outside most of the time. May 10: bit of snow overnight.

Day 43 since seed touched soil. Hard week past. Those long not drinking days when cycle was taking 8 days to dry out made damage, i still see magnesium, but now added some rusty spots and i cant understand is it calcium or my spraying of Leaf Coat and burn. No spray this week, will check if new will appear. Because of troubles i postponed flip and top up till next watering. It should be in 4-5 days. Done huge clearing, a lot new ties added. 3.5 liters of 6.3 phed dechlorinated water went in after training. Twins grow okeish, but i see some damage on them too, canopy forms very nicely tho, thin, but very well spaced. Planning to create scrog this week too. Mars Hydro TSL2000 is on 70% output, thinking to increase it with flip to 75. Light is working fine , really covers all space , great affordable light for colder climate. Day 45. Girls recovered from training very nice ! In few days flip . Day 47. Girls got top up. Put first level of scrog. Flipped to 12/12, tent is rammed ;) light output on 75%, 4 liters of 6.3 phed water went in. Top up was dosed, mixed well and laid on top, then i rough and mix top lair of soil with top up and only then i water. All pots are 30 litres ( grams and ml , have in mind ) : Ecothrive - Biosys - 5 ml / pot Ecotrive - Charge - 120 ml / pot Ecothrive - Life Cycle - 60 g. / pot Ecothrive - Bio Blend - 200 ml / pot. Think this will be my standart top up, i run out of Great White, have for one top up, will do it in 2-3 waterings seperately from all. Planning to repeat same top up at begining of week 4 of flower. Girls look better without spraying, most prob burn from too intense light, despite me giving 30-60 min of reduced to minimum after spraying. From now on - only when lights off. On cruise control now, done some defoliation here and there but that's it, feeding every 2-3 days and they are swelling up very nicely. Day 1: A large root can be seen at the bottom of each cell pot. Filled 3x 3 gallon pots with coco perlite 60/40 mix and transplanted each seedlings into its forever home. Not messing with micro-bacteria and all this time round as the nutes have everything that’s needed, fresh coco and a good feed will be more than enough for these girls. Watered them each with 100ml of water mixed with with a small amount of Velokelp and stuck a bag over each to lock in the humidity. Once the transplanting was over I setup a little DIY drip irrigation system with a 10L reservoir. Feeding schedule will be at 1/4 strength of advise dose as recommend by FastBuds and Remo Nutrients. Set up the timer for the lights and drip irrigation system to kick in tomorrow. The lights will change to 18/6 and drip irrigation will kick in just after lights on. Day 2: Lights turned off for the first time after 24 hour light for the past few days. After 6 hours of darkness the seedling are looking healthy as fuck. The first true leaves are now developed and they’re all bright bright green. Drip irrigation timer did its thing for the first time today and I’m well happy with the result from my little DIY kit, hopefully all runs smoothly with it for the rest of the grow. Day 3: The cotyledons have started praying upwards towards the light. The bags over the top of the plants have a good amount of condensation on the inside so I’ve cut a couple small holes in the top of each bag to let a little air in. Turned drip system off for a couple days to avoid over watering. Day 4: Tiny second set of leaves can be seen in the centre of each plant. Made the air holes on bags bigger to get the ready for them to be removed. Drip system still turned off. Day 5: Drip irrigation system is working as it should and environments holding up so all is good. Plants are looking good and seem fairly well rooted. Removed the bags from the top of each pot and turned on the humidifier and set it to 60%. Only thing left to do on this setup up is get some trays under the pots so they’re not sitting in puddles during the feeds. Day 6: All of the plants first true leaves are praying up to the light and the second sets are starting to properly develop. Really happy with all the seedlings so far. When it comes to autos these seem like the business. Fans turned on today and drip irrigation set back on its timer. Found some old metal grilled shelves that have worked out perfect for trays for the irrigation. Day 7: Second set of leaves are beginning to rise up, another week I reckon and I’ll look into hanging the MH bulb so these girls can explode. Very happy with these seeds so far. Gave them their first foliar spray with a 5ml of Velokelp and 5ml of Magnifical mixed into 1L of water. Turned the oscillating fan up a notch too as I’ve got it set up a fair distance away and I didn’t feel the breeze was catching them enough. Mixed up a new stronger feed this evening so it’s read for the droppers coming in tomorrow.

Mephistos are sticky, Fastbuds are rock hard. They have problems but they are growing nicely I'd like to tell tell some fancy words like "there are couple of weeks more to chop this beauties..." and etc. but don't have any idea 😂 watching and learning...Some have few ambers, checking ambers from pics and trying to figure it out when sweet end will come... Yeah, there is a bonus pic. a DIY rosin press, i haven't done any concentrates before :D it's name is "QUICK DAB" This lil monster can press 250kgs (550 lbs) 😳 Waiting for WhiteChem, she looks OK for pressing 😛 Damn she looks so frosty see you on next update guys Peace!!

The seeds have germinated 100%, they seem healthy, two seem to push more than the others. Overall everything is going according to plan. At the end of the week I will bring the lamp a little closer.

- I didn't weight wet buds. - The trichomes photos have been taken just before the harvest on buds all over the plants. - The hash balls were : a little less than 1cm diameter for the Mandarin Punch#1 and around 3mm diameter for the Mandarin Punch#2 - Drying was made at 20°C and around 50% of humidity. - Humidity in jar around 50% on the first day, temperature around 20°C. MANDARIN PUNCH #1 Veg time : 44 days. Flowering time : 70 days. Total time from seed to harvest : 114 days. Height : 142cm Pot size : 26l Harvest : 61g MANDARIN PUNCH #2 Veg time : 45 days. Week 26 – Flowering Week 4 Pineapple Upside-Down continues its flowering phase smoothly this week. No major events to report, which is exactly what we want at this stage. Flower development is clearly accelerating, with a noticeable floral explosion across the canopy. Some bud sites are already showing solid volume, and aroma production is now very present. Foliage quality remains poor and is no longer a focus. At this point, energy is clearly redirected toward flower production, and the plant confirms it visually. Lighting has been adjusted to sit in a productive range: approximately 650–750 PPFD under the canopy and 800–850 PPFD on the main apexes, putting the average comfortably between 700 and 800 PPFD. Environmental control is a priority. Day temperature sits around 27°C, with relative humidity pushed to 70–75% to maintain a VPD between 0.9 and 1.0. This balance is critical during weeks 3 to 5 of flower. A fresh nutrient solution was mixed at the start of the week. Final EC is set at 2.3, slightly higher than last week, mainly driven by an increased PK input. Base nutrients (Bloom A & B) remain unchanged at 2 ml/L. Additives include PK at 2 ml/L, CalMag at 2 ml/L, Cleanse at 1 ml/L, and Balance used to buffer the base water. pH is adjusted to 6.2 and allowed to naturally drift between 6.2 and 5.7. A light defoliation was performed, along with removal of small lower shoots to prioritize apex development. Structural work is now finished — from here on, the goal is full stability and uninterrupted flowering. See you next week!

Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer, so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and uniform. Average frost so far. Hopefully she keeps growing well until the end. Thanks for the views…keep calm and grow on!

This week I did some defoliation on her just did lower bud site LST. I forgot to mention last week I did do some removal of lower bud sites focusing more on the to bud site production.Just got some new food to add to the list will be feeding it the next few days see how she likes it.

Seeds broke surface 8/3/26

Starting week 7 and her flush! 8 day flush tapering down the molasses, freezdried coconut water, and slf 100 as an enzymatic cleanser. Last 2 days will be complete darkness and no water before harvest!

Welp. I honestly didn't expect this. As I have mentioned in previous posts, this plant was no longer on its own timeline, the next plant was going to decide. In addition to this, I had just done a heavy defol and put the leaves and 3 small nugs in my cannatrol. The cannatrol still had 2 days before finishing its dry, so this ended up being interrupted. In some unfortunate mishap, as shown in the pictures, my light was scheduled to turn off at 5am. The device said it did, but as you see in the graph, it stayed on until I had caught it at 12:24pm. I simply disconnected the usbc from the outlet, reconnected it, my light kicked on for a sec, then back off. I think messing with my dehumidifier lastnight glitched the system and I should've done a reset when I was done messing with it. With the stress already playing a chance at mutations, the additional light didnt help. No hurt feelings here. With the weight off the bud and the sugar leaves, my cannatrol is maxed. 2.2 lbs of wet weight is all it can take, and I am pushing that. 900 grams of wet, partially trimmed buds impressed me! Not sure the sugar leave weight. Setting cannatrol to dry for 5 days and cure for 25. I know it can go way quicker, but I read a study about these settings and want to see if it stands any truth.
