To push the pest resistance test even further (so far, the plants have shown resilience against fungus gnats, thrips, and excessive humidity), it’s getting too risky to allow the gnats to continue affecting my roots. As a test, I sieved fine sand from my garden and spread it over the soil to eliminate the gnats' living space. I gave the plants a good watering before applying the sand, and now I’ll leave it like this for a week. By the end of the week, I plan to repot them anyway, so we’ll see if this method clears up the gnat problem.

Hi Growmies, My apologies for the delayed update, but work life balance got a bit out of wack recently. Anyways, water was changed on time and general maintenance took place. Continued with very light defoliation to really guarantee that all the shoots get equal light exposure. She is turning out to be a real beauty and literally no Scr.O.G was necessary due to her natural structure. Buds are already forming very compact and dense to touch, something that’s always a good sign ;) Since this is my first proper DWC grow I am actually quite impressed by the root growth and the resulting nutrient uptake, as well as vigor in plant growth. Is it btw just me or is this website getting slower, buggier and laggier by the day? Videos won’t upload, weeks don’t reflect, diaries won’t update….

They pack beautifully boulder-like flowers that reek of garlic and sickly sweet cotton candy. Dark green to a mosaic of purples, yellows, and silvers. Frost production is off the charts, the internode spacing is tight, and they certainly will impress in their last few weeks of flower. This is one of our favorite crosses in the new fem lineup. Day 65 - Bessy got some needed defoliation as the central part of the plant was becoming too dense. Lower nodes were exposed to direct light and air circulation through plant was increased. Bessy has longer internodes than Jessy, but is not lanky in growth. Day 66 - Both ladies showed signs of a very slight nutrient burn on the leaf tips. They will be getting only water tomorrow to avoid any more damage. First time growing photoperiod cannabis, the practical learning curve is real! Day 70 - Thinned out both ladies, starting from the bottom and removing any branches growing inwards and lower leaves and growth. Also defoliated a bit from the top of the plants to expose lower growth to more light. Loving the way they are both growing, slightly different phenos.

The girl has experienced some interesting changes outside this week, from +30 days to +3 nights, but it seems she is still thriving. I have done a main flower cut because I am going on vacation and will leave the girls alone for 10 days and therefore I don't want them to grow out, it all depends on the weather conditions :) good luck to everyone.

The girls were harvested at 94 days. I didn't weigh it, but I believe they yielded around 30 to 40g for both. I am very satisfied and happy to have achieved a very good result, being my first time growing. A cycle closes and a new will come soon with new soil assembly, new genetics and more experience. Harvest day for super lemon haze, fuck yeah!! This strain with 50% the nute dosage levels, did amazing compared to previous SLH grows. Bigger, denser buds, just less lemon citrus smell. I'll update in 7-10 days with dry weight and smoke test. Thanks you for following this grow, I hope you liked it 👽🌳💚 Nov 15 - dry weight of 76 grams, minus a gram for test smoke. This little plant did pretty well for being a runt that struggled to grow in size since she was cut as a clone and rooted. Running at 50% nutes levels, I feel, was a good thing. The smoke is smooth, with a light lemon citrus taste and smell. It burns well, evenly throughout the joint and has a nice ash (medium gray/white). Still my favorite strain and I will grow again!

Flowering is on, two plants showed pistils a few days ago while third one showed today. I upped bloom nute dose to half strength preflowering. At the very end of day 27 rn. Got hold of some string and started LST around week 3, gently bending every few days and as it grows bigger, not touching any budsites. Tallest one is almost a foot high, curious as to how much they will stretch, they're supposed to reach a minimum of 3 feet so, yeah I guess we'll see :) Faint but distinct super sweet dreamy smell from the first one that started flowering
