Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. Hey farmers, It's day 107 and I'm going to call it done, there's a few amber trichomes and she could probably go ANOTHER week but I need my flower tent. This plant went way overtime, and I made a lot of mistakes, but she smells great and one thing is for sure, I'll have a ton of weed in a few weeks. So, this week I flushed and next week I will harvest, the next update to this diary will be post dry, but before cure. As tradition, I'll have a sneaky taste before putting her in jars. For my next cycle I will be upgrading my lights to Mars Hydro FCE 3000, going from 150w to a whopping 300w. I'll probably get a 3x3 in the near future, too. As always, stay safe and happy farming!

Updating for the week of 9/12 Euphoria is doing great. She responded well to the top dressing last week, but I figured she could use some more sugar so I gave her molasses and liquid nutes this week. There were a lot of worms that got exposed during watering so that's a really good sign that they're in there, working what wasn't completely broken down in the compost, and leaving worm castings behind👍 Otherwise I think it's all covered in the video! Obviously I didn't upload after taking photos and video, I thought I could push through my migraine a little more but then the kaleidoscope aura kicked in and I had to hide from the sun... and the rest of the world. I took a sample off the bud to see how it’ll look dried, so the plan is to cut the plant off Sunday! All I wanted is something to smoke and at this point I’m happy that seems to be the reality after the drying&curing process! Amazing feel! Some powdery mildew starting but shouldn’t be a problem if I cut soon!

Felt greedy and moved SBR back, they're together again, started one more plant, planning to add another diary soon. Girls look good! Already started blooming, stigmas appeared at the beginning of week 2, buds seem to start forming. Since SBR is a bit smaller than KE she has a podium to stand on. Like a queen ahah. I've cut 2 lower branches of KE, and few from SBR. Not sure about defoliation at the moment, Leaves under the lights seem to be ventilated well and aren't wet

7/4 - When I came into the tent this morning the ladies were praying! They looked very happy and I have to believe it was the worms. I did nothing else. I watered all with Trinity and RO Water. They have nearly completely recovered from their minor deficiencies. Their leaves look great. 7/6 - Both Wonder Woman ladies are doing great. They were praying again when I checked on them earlier. Their leaves look healthy and happy. I watered them today with just RO water, CalMag, and Extreme Serene as they will get fed tomorrow. I also did a foliar spray of the Extreme Serene on all. I will be vegging them out for another 2 weeks and then flipping them to flower. 7/10 - End of week 9 and both ladies are looking great. Watered with RO water and Molasses.

Getting a very strong Oder from them..almost smells like cat piss 🤣 ..also noticing a pretty purple shade on them too! Hopefully I can harvest in 3-4 weeks, 1 of the plants is over 6 feet tall! this shit looks fire .. 💯✌️🏼

[ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and grow room details, please see Week 1 of Veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Topped at the end of Day 9. Foliar sprayed with neem at lights on today. C02 has been increased to 800 ppm average, humidity lowered to 70%. Light power has been increased, now running at 35%. Amazing growth, finally removed all the rogue sunflowers as I didn't notice any significant gains having them. They're getting thirsty today but I'm going to give them another day, possibly 2, before I feed again. I'd like one last heavy wet/dry period for root stretch and then I'll go heavy with some organic nitrogen into flip. I can't use the same net as previous harvests because of the new room design so I'll have to create a new frame to start building the final even canopy. I'm fairly happy with how both groups of plants are growing into an even canopy within their expected timelines. Day 12 - Light intensity increased to 40%. Fed today, 1.05ec (6.8ph) with 10-15% runoff. No signs of light bleaching or stress, their leaves are almost always praying upwards. They could use a lollipopping, but with how quick they're growing I'll most likely wait until a couple days before flip to clean them up now.

This is one incredibly frosty auto! In fact it’s probably the frostiest auto I’ve ever grown. Her smell reminds me of sweet tropical fruit, just like you would expect from a Runtz strain. She’s almost done! I plan to harvest in the next week.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Buds are developing. A bit slower than I anticipated but they are developing. I guess it won't yield very much but that's because of the really bad outdoor conditions she started with. Still very excited to see her progression, I hope she keeps that dark green color. As you can see, the drip irrigation system arrived, which is good. Unfortunately that means that there will be no more Pet's&Pot pictures until harvest :( wish me luck!

Week N-3. The Cookies plant is doing well. grows normally. Easy Boost Organic Nutrition works perfect. I added GHE Diamond nectar and GHE Roots this week. You can see, that I started to train plants using LST and FIM. I water the plant every day; Plants are not stressed and continue to grow normally. On the next week I plan to do: 1. Put on the air filter, as you can smell a wonderful smell right now. unfortunately not wonderful for everyone. :) 2. Place the grid for SCROG. The plant has a lot of branches, which is very pleasing. So the SCROG- MUST have. |:)
