Week Update – Final Flush Before the Chop! 🌿✂️ Last week of flushing and we’re just about ready to bring her down! I like to aim for a few ambers towards the end, so I’m closely monitoring those trichomes going for that sweet 70/30 cloudy to amber ratio. 👀💎 She’s absolutely stinking up the place in the best way possible pure skunk vibes, it’s amazing. Dense as a rock too! I seriously can't wait to smoke her.

Day 52: Light schedule 12/12, 200 ml water per plant per day, one-day bat guano the other day Epson salt as fertilization. Pre flowers out, except Blue Sherbet S1 but she is Sativa so slower than the others. I retrained them tried to separate the side branches. I also removed bigger fan leaves and at the bottom part to have better air flowing and the light can go through more efficiently, plus I changed their current positions so I placed to different corners. All good so far. Day 54: I uploaded video as well. They are so BEAUTIFUUUUUUL❤️ Day 55: Nice... So 24K Gold very bushy and nice lot flowers. Blue Sherbet S1 is slower due to Sativa dominance but it is coming. Fruit Tree the same very nice bushy a lot of flowers. Zkittlez remains small she is the smallest but pre-flowers are nice coming along. The smell is getting stronger. Day 56: They are developing nicely. I am waiting for harvest tho.....😂 Day 57: The smells getting stronger. My girlfriend noise is blocked 😂😂😂😂

Another great week of progression

Week 5 of flower 9/6/24 After neglecting to check runoff EC, the reading was 3 and PH 4.7, it's crazy that the plant did not show any signs of damage besides one branch. After flushing the growing medium with RO water + FloraKleen + H2O2 (PH 6.5), the runoff PH was still to high. The problem persisted after watering with 50% dilution nutrient solution and still getting low PH readings and high EC. The solution was to put something underneath the fabric pot, to create a gap for the runoff water to drain freely from the bottom part. Before, the fabric pot was sitting on the plate and the runoff was draining from 2 little holes in the middle to the drain compartment. Right after creating the gap and watering, all the readings were corrected. Fortunately, all salt build up got washed away, and the plant showed no more problems. :) On day 26 days of flower, the nutrient schedule was changed to fit the fifth week of flower. Note to self: check PH and EC every 3 waterings.

Let’s Go Day 52 of 🌺!! At 101 days old , these girls are looking an smelling oh so amazing! 2 of the Pre 98 Bubbas and both Dirtyblondes started getting flush on Saturday, so they will continue flush the rest of the time for 12 days an they will be ready for 48 hrs of darkness. While the 2 other Pr 98 Bubbas will remain on same feeding through rest of this week a most likely start getting flush by next week!! Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Last week, first of flowering, was outstanding, I could water the girls regulary and the work paid off they stretched a lot and are looking super healthy. The girl right below the upper fan is suffering a bit with the shadows and is notoriously shorter than her sisters, I will need to rethink the air circulation for the next grow. Another concern of mine is their height, hoping they dont stretch anymore as the lights are already at maximum possible height inside tent and there is only 20cm gap between it and the plants.

This didn’t save Monday. Thurs: refill Earthbox 2.5 gallons. I put a 2nd trellis net up. - set VPD 1.1 Fri: finished pollen collection for NL #1. Repotted clones 2 of 6 had roots out side of Root Riot. Had more success with a glass of on window ledge. Earthbox BB #2&3: defoliated, tucked trellis. Seeing nice frost.

I've enjoyed a lot growing this plant, I had to deal at tje end of thr cycle with fungus gntas but she resisted without problems, each day the flowers stink more and more, amazing genetic, I would definitely like to keep on working with this genetic, it's a pleasure to smoke, I recomend you to grow her organically like I did snd you'll see!

Day 67 plant is stretching and very healthy. Branches are thick and strong. Day 68 nothing to report all good. Video for d68 didn't take pics. Day 69 refilled refill tank 920ppm ph'd 6.2 plant is so healthy and getting big. Day 70 plant is nice and green and healthy nothing new. Day 71 all is good. Day 72 plant will get defolited tomorrow nothing new today. Day 73 defolited plant seems to be doing great after defoliation looking and healthy and happy.

Hi growmies. Hope we are all well and still sane?. This week has been another roller coaster for the ladies. Amnesia Haze has gone crazy with growth this week. She has taken over 25 L of water this week to cope with the heatwave we are having. It has been up around 24°c just before lights off at 12pm. I am glad i decided to use the nights for the lights on period now. I did lose the 5th node on the Amnesia sadly but the remaining 4 nodes are little powerhouses of growth tips. She has also reached the pots edges after i supercropped them earlier in the week. They had bounced back by the next day .!!!. I love this strain so far.. The remaining ladies havevhad to cope with some issues this week. Heat and light intensity from the new Mars at 100% power took a toll on their chlorophyll production abilities. I have since dropped the power by 25% and raised the light a little too. The yellowing has not worsened and new growth below is looking good so far. The worse affected was the Red Hot Cookies but now they both look settled root wise , they have improved the last few days too. I did a pH check and got 7.2ph so I did use some ph down to drop it to 6.0. There is a huge difference in the 3 girls and it is shocking to see what just 2 weeks germination gap can cause. I do know the NFT can catch up once it gets its roots into the matting more. Fingers crossed we see some improvements this coming week.. Be well.

This week the Gnome’s have been working on Defoliating and Topping of both of the plants. This is going to start the development process that will take them into adulthood. This will help the air to move through the plants more efficiently and start the “Martini Glass” shape that we all love, instead of the single cola look. Next week we will be “lollipoping” the plants to help air flow and to transfer energy to the canapé. The biggest thing to happen at the garden is that we are “Triggering Flowering” this week and watering has started to double in frequency.

This week they had more water and more knf soil soak , Including fish amino acid , lacto basilicas, WSK, WCAP , OHN . Bud booster this week probably bac bloom stimulatior.

7/20: All three are doing great. I'm hoping to extend Plant 1's vegetation week so that the others catch up to her for the flip, which is eventually coming. I added RapidStart this week. I've heard great things, we shall see. More root, more fruit. Trimmed 2 lower fan leaves that were not getting any light. 7/21: Our time is drawing near for the flip! Are those........ STIPULES? 7/22: LSTing hard. Much good. Nutes niiiice. She's just letting me bend her all sorts of ways for that light. 7/23: LST for you and me, to grow some weed so happily... la la la 7/24: They are just perky tonight! 7/25: Last day of week 4. I started some bloom nutes this morning to prep, and tomorrow I lollipop 'em! I also got a new microscope for the trichomes later on, can't wait to see what's photos and videos I get.
