Scrog Its new for me but in small budget space i get it. ... this its the way to go. Bomberry its a slowstarter maybe gave her a little more water in seedling fase. The little ones are developing well, unfortunately there are a few minor nutrient problems in the direction of Calmag with the Morello Cherries and also slight signs of this with the TerpyZ Punch. I counteracted this with a foliar spray. The pH value of the hydrosystem has unfortunately dropped a little to 5.5, which I have equalised with ph up from Plagron. The plants are currently getting light between 800-900 ppfd and as soon as the stretch starts, l'll increase this to 1000 ppfd. Both ladies are slowly starting to smell.

Week 7 Flower Let the Flush commence! 💦 Both girls started flush on Day 41. Twin2 is definitely finishing sooner than Twin1, but as they've both been tested the same, they'll both be taken down on the same day after a 14+ day flush. We're having a rise in heat in my area so it's interesting to see how each pheno reacts. Twin2 seems to be showing slightly more heat stress, by shooting a few fox tails, but at this size it's only a good thing 😉 I've also only just found a new trait being expressed on both twins, but much more consistently on Twin1, and that's the double serrated leaves you can see in the photo's. It doesn't mean or affect anything, it just a cool trait 🍁 I run approx 30+ltr water through each pot each time they're flushed. Before doing so I check the ppm and pH value of the run off from each pot and take records. To do this, I gently pour a few litres in the centre of the pot until a sufficient amount has drained into the tray below. This can then be tested with your TDS/EC pen and pH pen. I still use Activated EM1 (EMA) throughout flush at 1ml/ltr because microbes are always a benefit. Once stretched/activated it goes a very long way so if I don't use it throughout flush, then it may go over it's 6-8week shelf life. They're both looking great and still filling up. Both twins are coated in trichomes and have their own distinctive smells. They both smell very floral; Twin2 smells a lot sweeter, but Twin1 has a more earthy, almost gassy kind of smell to her that's just as nice. SATURDAY - Day 23 12 October 24 Watering day, 1 litres of dechlorinated tap water. - Base water 1 litre - 61.1 PPM Final - 1 litre at 6.45 PH at 62.8 PPM Runoff - N/A - Thinking of removing her giant fan leaves soon, they’re becoming cumbersome. - Did my final planned topping of the two top branches. - Now just have to give her time and continue shaping her. SUNDAY - Day 24 13 October 24 - Just a day under the lights. - She doesn’t seem too bothered by yesterday’s training. - She’s got a few days now to recover. - All is moving along according to plan. MONDAY - Day 25 14 October 24 - Just a day under the lights. - Also a good recovery day. THURSDAY - Day 28 17 October 24 - Ahhhhhh I tweaked a branch manipulating it with my gorilla hands. - It not completely broke off so hopefully she can repair it and recover. - Going to give her a bit more time to recover before restarting LST. - Just a day under the lights today. Well this is the end of week four. It was a busy week with the transplant, all planned toppings are completed and now it should just be some LST from here on out. Hello everyone 😇 😇 😇 Finally, the last week and the harvest time come. On Day 105 and Day 107 I flush her with tap water treated with Ecothrive Neutralise. I was planning a harvest on Friday but accidentally initiated it on Thursday, how ?? I wanted to remove the fan leaves, when I began to pull off the wires supporting the branches, the branches began to break... So I came to an unplanned harvest the day before I planned to do it. 🙌 !! BUT !! 🙌 This one day does not really make a difference, so the fact of the branches start breaking under the weight of the buds made me pretty happy 🙏 🙏 🙏 Thanks to everyone for the comments, likes and interest. it stands stable in the wind, withstands hot days and continues to grow. but unfortunately still no signs of flowering. she still has 2 months before i move. i hope she makes it. she gets fertiliser every 2 days.

Adjusted the light distance to 55cm again it was toooo close about 32cm. 10/12/2019 - Decided to go back and check the basics, removed led strip to give a proper 'night' time, changing light cycle to 20/4h no more 'exotic' 22/2h, re-checked the light distance every 2 to 3 days to ensure 60-45cm and I can tell all ready she is loving it. Also added home made Co2 made with 1 tsp of yeast, 3/4 tsp of sugar 700ml of warm water in a 1l bottle with a tiny pin hole on the cap. 11/12/2019 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.5PH water with 0,5ml of each Grow, Bloom, Max and Alga-mic, and 1ml of each Heaven and Vera,noticed about 10% run off. 12/12/2019 - 8 weeks have passed and no flowers I guess I'm flipping to 1212h to see if she reacts.

Week 14 - July 30 Last vegetation weeks. On 4 plants: 2 healthy / 2 injured. Royal Moby and GMOxZombieK were seriously contaminated with aphids. To stop the propagation I did many washes with black soap and neem oil but may be I treated at the wrong time: morning, even soon; is too late by a hot sunny summer day. I think the 2 plants are suffering from sunburn… and they still have aphids… I stopped soap treatments and try another recipe which seems working very good against aphids and revitalizing all plants: spraying Garlic + Laurel -I cooked separately during 1h garlic (5 cloves) and Lauren leaves (12) in approximately 1L of water -filtered the preparations and wait 4 days -for 1L of water to spray: 15cl garlic mixture + 5 cl laurel BEWARE: checking Ph… last year I burned plants with garlic + chili mixture: it was catastrophic. Brake Pad Breath and Flash Back are beautiful and healthy. Aphids aren’t interested by this 2 plants. I did preventive treatments Neem oil and soap but not so much. Good reaction to the Garlic+Laurel. Plants are bushy, densely ramified. Deep green color, the female sexual signs are visible. Ready for flowering. Watering with a little bit of nutrients 1.5L/plants each 2 or 3 days Defoliation Now I quit the “garden” for 7 days…traveling to Amsterdam (NL) and Prague (CZ) for holidays. I installed automatic watering systems (Blumat) and sticky traps, locked the veranda, programmed the Ventilation and crossed fingers. I’m not afraid about heat or dry…. More about pests and diseases….and rubbery too cause I have 6 auto flowering quasi ready. I’m writing this in Prague, returning in my country to the west side in 2 days. After smoking lot of joints in Amsterdam (3 days) Amnesia haze Tangerine dream Kush Mints Super Lemon Haze Dynamite cookie Intergalactic toad Super Silver Haze In Prague Weed (THC) is prohibited. But I discovered that you can buy pre roll joints (100% pure hemp-Thc-sativa, hybrid etc…) in strange gifts shops for 6€. It’s really not the best weed but it’s Strong and easygoing.

Welcome to Week 1 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow courtesy of the fine folks at Sweet Seeds! This is the second of three consecutive grows/diaries that I am doing to showcase the tried and tested genetics from this reputable seed breeder. My last grow was a smashing success so I have high hopes for this grow as well. Nothing much to report for Week #1 although I will mention that the first watering was only 0.7 of a litre per plant (0.18 of a litre per plant per day) and the second was 1.4 litres per plant (0.35 of a litre per plant per day). I am watering on my usual schedule of every fourth day as this seems to be the sweet spot throughout past grows. I am using the usual- air bubbled tap water that is PH’d to around 6.0 and if need be (over the winter months in Canada) warmed to 68-70 degrees prior to hand watering with a small watering can. The seedling that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves is fine but still a little smaller than her sisters. So now on to Mom’s tip of the week… Mom’s Tip for Week #1 is- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR- QUALITY IS KEY!… When considering growing Cannabis, even on a small scale, quality is an important factor in all aspects from the seeds to set up to the supplies used throughout the grow. Starting with seeds from a established breeder will raise the odds considerably in your favour for a successful outcome. Many seed companies are more than willing to ship out freebies while building up their brands which seems attractive to new growers- but use at your own risk! There’s nothing worse than being halfway through a grow and discovering male flowers tucked in amongst the lowest branches or realizing that your beautiful buds have been mysteriously pollinated just weeks before harvest. I know that seeds from a reputable seed breeder are usually more expensive and can be hard to access in certain parts of the world. But purchasing quality seeds from a reputable seed company is the first step towards homegrown Cannabis success. An area that new growers often overlook due to the high price is the quality of crucial components in their set up- including tent, lights, and intake/exhaust fans. Anyone can get away with cheaper pots, oscillating corner fans, water pumps for dechlorination, etc but it’s worth every penny investing into the workhorses of your entire operation. An initial investment of around two thousand dollars will provide serious growers with the longevity and hassle free basics needed. If done right, quality components will pay for themselves within the first 6-12 months of use and continue to serve your needs for 3-5 years to come. Supplies used throughout the grow are the final area where quality is important but somewhat subjective too. Although I’ve already stated that I don’t feel the need to spend big dollars on all the extras (pots, oscillating fans, water pumps for dechlorination, PH/moisture meters, etc- I do believe in doing my homework to make sure that I’m getting the best bang for my buck. I thoroughly research every item purchased and used in my grows by reading customer reviews, speaking with other growers and sometimes even trial and error at my own expense. Making quality an important factor in all aspects of Cannabis cultivation will benefit you, your grows and the planet we live on. 🌳🌎🌳

Harvest time

Week 11 they are starting to frost up a little more but they are still not growing in size, the buds I mean. Do I keep them going till the hairs go brown atleast? They are starting to smell. Little more Any advice?? Shall I throw away or keep them going.. they are starting to look frostier but the bud sizes are still not getting any bigger

7/26/2021 - 1st week of flower. - Mites are super active on the layer of trim I left on the soil surface. They're not on the actual plant, so I'm much more confident in thinking they're beneficial soil mites.
