Week 4-(Day 29) She has recovered from my transplant disaster. The combination of that, and the feeding I had given her was a lot of stress all at once, and it shows on some of her leaves that were damaged. However, she has recovered quite nicely, and has grown into her light quite a bit this week. I haven’t done anything other than leaf tucking. I kept her damaged leaves on as once she corrected herself, no further spread is noticeable. I’ve got a bigger 6x4x7 tent setup, and am gathering all the necessary components to keep a perpetual grow happening. Looking at the Smart -8 from Medic Grow, amazing value (still pricey) for the footprint it makes! Any ideas on how to convince my wife to let me buy a 1000 dollar💡? Lol 😆

13.4.25: This week has been so busy in the garden! I forgot to take any notes, so I'll see what I can do from memory! 😅 I watered several times this week, and I used Ecothrive Biosys with dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I watered about 2 litres to each plant. Throughout the week, I've been defoliating all the fan leaves 🍃 The trichomes are looking all milky to me. I stopped watering a couple of days ago, and the pots are totally dry. 14.4.25: Today is Harvest Day! I finally put together my clothes rail, which I'm using to hang my plants on. I purchased a hanging mosquito net for a bed from Amazon. It's black, which will hopefully block out what little light there is in my drying room. Also, to prevent debris from sticking to the buds whilst drying. It hangs from the ceiling so it will just hang over the clothes rail. Additionally, the net will allow good airflow. I put a bit of thought into this method, so I look forward to seeing it in action! 😅 So let's wait a while and find out how much we yielded here! 😃💚✌️🌱👌

Hello potheads, the reason to do this Journal is to register the grow results using a dirty cheap assembly, with low investment on equipment and hopefully without compromising results (LOL). The main reason to do this is bc I have tested previously the Bulbs when my last COB Panel failed right after two years and became void of guarantee, also, pandemics in my country made every attempts to delivery it to a technician almost impossible, so we had to improvise . Most of the used materials are accesible by home & groceries store (also online), the nutrients and seeds that are legacy from the previous project. The substrate is recycled and applied on 11 & 15lt Textpots. This is the reason also why there is a lite of lice or white fly plague on some plants that im trying to control with Aceite de Springhill by Anasac (locally branded paraffin oil). About nutrients: The reason to add Carbo & Sugar Is to stimulate beneficial bacterial life on the used soil.This also helps photosynthesis and root development in earlier stages. (ref: https://bigbudsmag.com/marijuana-carbohydrates-boost-roots-buds-thc ) Related to the strains: The G13 by GrowBarato Seeds: 2 Month Old AVG but they were germinated on 12/12 photoperiod (while waiting to cut other plants) , so they acted like revegged with the increase of hours. They're being trained with paper clips to become bushy & chonky units. (4/6 survived) Santa Bilbo by Genethik: 1 Month Old AVG , but they were germinated on 12/12 photoperiod, the nutrient deficiencies that show are bc they stayed on a 500cc cup for too much time and required transplant urgently, and now are recovering and generating vegetal mass AGAIN . The Reason that there are 2 plants in one pot its bc one was less vigorous, cursed, and against all odds, are recovering from stress shock & different carencies . ( 4/5 survived) Eleven Roses by Delicious Seeeds: 10 days Old (Germinated on 4/20/21 on 20/4 photoperiod). They r' fine, healthy Babies and growing on a steady rhytm . There are 8 because there are 2 spaces to fill , but also, they were backup in case all Santa Bilbo transplants failed miserably. For the last ones i need to select whose be transplanted to soil but that's a problem for future me, not me rn. I will VEG for the entire month of MAY in order to fill the spaces of the grow tent and try to update this diary at least once a week. Probably weekends. -Start of Week 7- 8/30- Here we go...Week seven should end with ALL the ladies in flower, I hope! The Seedsman Zkittles #3 is the 'last girl out' having been a week behind the others. The Seedsman Gelato OG in Natures Living Soil is not as robust as its sister in the SOHUM Living Soil. They are both visually extremely similar in appearance except the one in Sohum is roughly 25% bigger!...interesting! The ladies received Compost Tea for breakfast @ 1/2 gallon each but before I fed them I added 1 cup of Diatomaceous Earth to each pots medium which I worked into the soil by hand (this will cut the Fungus Gnats and any other undesirables in the medium to shreds! Muahaha!😈) then watered it in with the tea. The Crystal Meth #1 is showing nitrogen toxicity and possibly the Purple Lemonade #1 as the Crystal Meth #1's leaf tips are 'clawing' and she's deep green. The Purple Lemonade #1's also really dark and shes got some yellowing of a few leaves happening but no 'clawing'. I'm just going to let her eat as she's a short, stocky little biatch with some heavy, stanky buds forming!. The FastBuds genetics are appearing to be very sensitive to nutrients, more so than the Seedsman strains which haven't shown any real issues other than being slower to flower and BUSHY as hell!😁 *On a side note, I popped nine photo-period beans today- Dutch Passion Power Plant, White Widow & Meringue / Archive's Poochie Love and some Blueberry Skunk from bag seeds🙏 8/31- I moved the fans directions to avoid too much wind on the girls this morning as it was blowing pretty hard on the Crystal Meth #1 and Zkittles #1. Going to put pot elevators under all the fabric pots today to allow any water/nutrients to drain out and not be reabsorbed. Gave the Crystal Meth #1 a 2 gallon flush with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8 to try to leech out some of the nitrogen from her. I gave the other ladies a lite water if they felt dry and tucked shade leaves on the Gelato OG's, Zkittles and Purple Lemonade's. Conditions in the 4x8 are right on point for Week 7: 64-82 deg., 65-70% RH and a 11.1 VPD Heights as of 8/31- FastBuds: Purple Lemonade #1- 14" Purple Lemonade #2- 19" Crystal Meth #1- 24 Crystal Meth #2- 19" Seedsman Seeds: Gelato OG #1- 24" Gelato OG #2- 21" Zkittles #1- 17" Zkittles #2- 21" Zkittles #3- 20" 9/1- Lite water: 2 1/2 gal. de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.7 @ 74 deg. divided evenly between all but Purple Lemonade #1 as she was still very moist and the Crystal Meth #1 which got flushed with 2 gal. of 6.4 ph de-chlorinated water @ 74 deg. I did a heavy defoliation on the Crystal Meth #2 taking off all the crappy looking shade leaves that were damaged from the ph'd imbalance she had. I also defoliated both the Seedsman Gelato OG's and Zkittles #1 & #2 as they are SO bushy and leafy they needed it to get the light down into their canopies. 9/2- The FastBuds Purple Lemonade's are displaying to vastly different phenotype's with #1 growing short, squat with THICK indica leaves and the darkest green color. #1 also is exhibiting fox tail structure on her buds which are extremely resinous already. The #2 Purple Lemonade is tall with wider node spacing, a traditional bud structure with the flowers exhibiting rich purple hues contrasted by snow white pistils...beautiful! Both ladies have an extremely pungent citrus aroma to them! The Gelato OG's are both putting their energy into the multitude of bud sites that both have and both are tall, bushy plants with multiple branches although the #2 in SOHUM Living Soil is doing slightly better than #1 in Natures Living Soil. The FastBuds Crystal Meth's are both stacking nicely although the #2 will never be the beautiful specimen her sister is I'm hoping she'll finish out with a decent yield of quality smoke. The Seedsman Zkittles #1 & #2 are both doing well, both into flower with their buds just starting their development. The #3 Zkittles is doing her best to catch up to her sisters but is still about a week behind them, just coming out of pre-flower. Gave all the girls a drink of de-chlorinated water which had a ph of 6.7 @ 75 deg.. I evenly divided 4 gal between them, then went over all tucking leaves. 9/4- Gave all the girls 5 gal. of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.7 @ 74 deg. with 3 tbsp/gal of unsulphured molasses added to it and divided evenly between all. Daily branch coaxing and leaf tucking. The FastBuds ladies are all way ahead of the Seedsman girls and are well into flower. I'm guessing that the FB's will be harvested within the next 7-10 days and the Seedsman's 1-2 weeks later. All the Seedsman plants are doing fantastic! They're all bushy with good color and a ton of budsites! 9/5- Cleaned the pre-filter on the Terra-Bloom carbon filter as it was clogged. Watered all today with 4 gal de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @75 deg. with 5 ml/gal CalMag+ added. Goodbye Week 7...Here we go into the home stretch!!!

Had a small issue this week where temp dropped a bit, I was on vacation for a few days and a window got left open to the room the tent is in. The room got down to 62f with the lights on. lights off temp wasn't much cooler. I noticed some canoeing on leaves near the center of the room, I am hoping this was just caused by the temperature stress that happened by the sudden drop. I fixed the temp and issue and it should be back to normal. Trichome's look great under microscope. Getting tightly packed and very cloudy, very little amber color at this point. Cheese #1 Has swelled up quite a bit over the last 5 days, The buds on it are noticeably larger than the ones on Cheese #2 I have moved the led light to cast more on cheese #2 in hopes to get the buds on it to catch up to #1 Still dealing with small calcium deficiencies, I will do a light flush this week of 1/2 strength nutrients and Cal at 6.5 Mid Weekupdate: Flushed plants with 1/3rd nutrient dose and full strength cal mag. Adjusted ph. to 6.5 to allow for better uptake of calcium. The calcium issue isnt bad just some small spotting but I am trying to get ahead of it as there is supposed to be 4 weeks left on the strain. The buds have started to tighten and get more dense. Hairs are about 40% red, some are receding into the bud. Smells like citrus.
