After almost two weeks- germination is complete and her head is above soil. Temperatures are still low in my basement so I’m sure that’s why. Let’s go 🌱 fist
She’s definitely looking good. She’s picked up speed and looks happy in this pot size- for now. Picked up my FFOF today so I’m ready to put her in her final pot when she’s ready
Picking up a bit of speed. Topped her yesterday- looking forward to seeing some lateral growth and beginning a bit of lst once branches are long enough.
She wasn’t looking to hot- and it was easy to see why- her roots were exposed and outta the pot on the bottom 🤦🏼♀️
So- into her forever home. Going to focus more this week at establishing a good feeding regime
Another week in the books. She’s looking a lot more established in her forever pot. She looks like she’s asking for a bit more nitrogen . Upped nutrient levels a bit. Recalibrated my ph pen. And purchased an ec/tds meter. Hoping a few tweeks and she’ll explode.
Broke off a side branch this week adjusting the plant bends. The stems were almost bulbous around where the bends made contact. First time ever seeing that. So I took them off- with the intention of putting some back on in about a week if the stems look like they are growing more normal. Upped feeding- she clearly wants more.
She’s definitely looking a healthier shade of green this week. She’s responding well to feedings- but I need to apply a bit more lst this week. Now that her branches are a bit longer it will hold the bends better- without pinching the top new growth.
She’s getting tall and her branches are hard to keep in the bends. I check the tent in the morning and the bends have popped off. She’s a strong branched girl. Upped feeds again, and plan on keeping her at this level until I flip the tent.
Planning on flipping to 12/12 in a weeks time. She’s definitely the tallest of the girls in the tent right now- mainly because she’s been difficult to tie down. She’s got some thick strong branches and kept popping the bends off during lights out.
Final update before flip! Sunday I’ll re-program my light timer- then Monday 4/01 will be flower day 1. Easy way to keep track.
She’s happy, I’m happy- and I know she’s just waiting to show me what she’s got!
Took her out, measured her, tucked some leaves and then got her right back into the warm tent. Followed with a feeding, backed down 1ml from last week.
Today is day 8 of flower. Delayed update so it now lines up weekly. Dialed back another ml per gallon on nutrients- now all 5 strains in my tent are all running the same schedule. Sure helps speed up mixing. I’m really hopeful for a bit of stretch this upcoming week.
She added 4 inches this week. Today being day 15 of flower. I’ve kept her feedings the same- though I’m slowly watering a bit less volume wise- but watering more frequently. Seeing pistols begin to appear.
This girl is the plant with the most stretch amongst the other strains. I have been keeping feedings consistent- 2 gallons split between 6 plants every two days. Another week and I’ll begin introducing some Plagron green sensation- which I am extremely excited to try out! I’m hoping she’s going to begin to slow down, as I can only lift my light an additional 6/7 inches before I run out of headspace.
Only one added inch this week. Thankful for that- measured her and she’s just 10 inches below my light. Will most likely lift the light another 3 inches this week- then raise the other strains for a more even canopy. Since we’ve passed week 4 of flower I began to introduce some Plagron Green Sensation, 4 ml per gallon and backing off my nutrients to keep my ppm in a similar range. I haven’t been keep track of ppms at any point before this- but that was the directive with this additive.
She’s standing strong at 27in from the soil. Took her out to check for and remove any discolored leaves. Also gave a good once over to check for signs of hermi-ing. So far so good.
Another week down. I have increased her nutrients by 1ml/pg. she’s is starting to pull from her lowers and I’m getting some yellowing. She smells like sweet grapefruit.
Chugging closer to the end. Looks like she added one more inch this past week. Impressive. It’s going to be a hot week- so I’m going to have to be extra careful with the humidity.
Getting pretty close to the end. Another week and I think I’ll whip out the magnifying scope to see what’s going on. Still waiting on the lower buds to put in some weight.
Today’s day 65! We are getting close. Took her out of the tent today to do a little clean up on those pesky limp yellow leaves you start seeing as the plant transitions it’s final form. No sign of male flowers, mildew or rot, or anything else to be concerned about. Tops look formed, but lowers are lacking, and Trichomes are just starting to turn milky.
She was chopped today. In flower day 71. She grew to be the tallest girl of all the strains I had going this run (5). She has had all large fan leaves removed and will hang for 7-10 days as needed.
@MrJones, while I do have a separate smaller tent- these ladies are all living in my 4x4, under my big 660w medic grow light and will all be flipped together

@MrJones, oh, tell me about it. That khalifas got some strong branches making her hard to keep down. I’ll make a few light adjustments when they get flipped- then risers to even things out
@MrJones, oh, tell me about! That Khalifas got some strong branches and the bends keep popping off 😂. I need to drop the light a bit, but I’m planning on doing that when I flip. Lowering that light is really difficult alone.
@MrJones, yea- I agree. Only took 10 mins- still might need to made adjustments If other strains show more stretch. Light is now 15 inches above everyone. Obviously this plant is setting the canopy height.
