Buenas noches familia, de nuevo actualizamos el diario, y acabamos la cuarta semana de floración, vaya brazos laterales que están tirando, se van a poner hermosas, se las ve sanas y vigorosas, nota mucho la forma sativa de sus hojas así que veremos lo que tardan en florecer. Ph controlado a 6,5 y humedad por debajo de 45% not bad las condiciones temperaturas mínimas de 20 y maximas de 27,5 Grados. Al atar las puntas los brazos tendieron a ir a la luz y gracias a eso la planta está tomando la forma de la esquina.

I have finally realised that this experiment is horribly going side ways at the moment, however I wonder if it is due to the Winter season, growing outside or in my makeshift greenhouse, (when I say makeshift I mean, recycled plastic sheets, pallets, etc, I think all that aside, my forth cycle is going to memorable… currently I lack grow lights and fans, luckily I made my greenhouse self ventilate, though I am waiting for August(AwwDust) the windiest time in South Africa, if it remains standing and still self ventilating, I would consider it a victor.) growth would be slower than the warm seasons. To make conditions even harder, I do not have grow lights currently however an obstacle that I’ll correct, going for solar lights and solar fans, electricity tariffs are booming, luckily I use rain water stored in a 1000lt tank, no one is complaining water consumption, I feel like people don’t stress the cost of growing, if you don’t pay the bills and you want to become a grower, look for cheaper methods of growing, like for now… I am going to use the sun as my main light source, will get fans to induce positive stress.

Gorilla Cookies is 13 days into flowering times. She started showing her fisrts pistils. There is 1 top that's has me worried. I am likely paranoid from my battle with HPLVD. She is due soon for a lollipop of the plant, and a good defoliation. Likely next update I will do a heavy training. She is growing great under the Spider Farmer G3000 light. Growing Fast Buds Tangie'Matic again. This was one of the first strains I grew and I had great results the first time. Looking forward to seeing if I can up my game at all this time. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Setup: 1- Grow Tent 24”x48”x72” 2- Viparspectra 300W LED’s (1-V300 & 1-R300) 1- Hanging 100w CFL (26w actual) 1- Carbon Filter w/ 190cfm Fan & 4” ducts 1- 6” clip-on fan 1- 700w electric heater - oil filled radiator (in front of air intake behind tent)

They’re off and running, I may need to fill two of the pots with a bit more substrate as I ran out towards the end. Otherwise, they’re feeding and growing well.

She’s struggling to bloom due to being sat too low under the lights but she’s still going unfortunately not much flower but still growing with the bracts swelling up the pistols. She will receive just phd water as req

Day16: nutrients like plan Day 18: i added 2 secret jardin tled 42w bloom --------------------------------------------- She is doing well, all the other stuck a bit because of heavy deflotation i made last week🤷‍♂️😅 The small one in the middle is an Banana clone, which i made just for Fun. (I tested to clone with biobiss root juice, it took 5 days to root) 😁 Maybe someone have some experience with secret jardin tled can can tell me how far i should place them? 😅 Merry Xmas everyone 🎄🍌

Starting this week of with some (in my eyes) beautiful nighttime - shots! Also, i finally found out why Whitebalance is important on my Camera. Whoopsie! Plants got watered on Day 45 with 2,5L each, ramping up BioBloom to 3ml/L as well. If the plants dont tell me they need more, im probably only gonna ramp up topmax from here on out. With the watering, i did some more "aggressive" defoliation, focusing on the inside but also removed some larger fanleaves everywhere. PH in stays 6,5 and out Stays at 6,1 for plant B and 6,2 for Plant A. Sounds good to me! They also started to smell. They did so before, but mainly when i stuck my nose into the tent, and in the bygone weeks, it was, for my untrained nose, more of the typical "weed growing" smell we all know and love. But now - oh boy, now shes showing her olfactorial potential, and i swear to god i can make out banana (more like the peel not the fruit, but banana is banana), but my SO tells me im probably having a stroke. ill die on that hill though - i can smell banana. Theyre done stretching since a bit now, but in the timelapse (which ill add at the end of the week) you can see the flowers starting to swell up and see a difference daily. I said it a lot already, but i will say it again, they grow FAST, they grow beautifully and now they also get budmass going. I dont think they'll be ready to harvest in Week 8 (yet), just because i topped and couldve given more light, but if anyone tells me they harvested their BPP in 8 weeks, im inclined to believe them. My impatient a** is still in awe just how hard they are stepping on the gas. I measured their size for once, Plant A is 62 cm from soil to top, Plant B is 56 cm from soil to top. Plant B is also sitting on a weight as a slight elevation boost since this week. Bit late, but added the timelapse for week 7 for you to enjoy!

Well I got my Scrog screen installed on Saturday and I remembered to Ph my Mix this week. The girls look healthy, and from Monday to Today they have shown Growth!! YAY I'm so excited. I know Im so far away.

Seems like all is in order. I had to go away for a week because of an emergency and luckily a friend looked after them, only thing he wasn’t sharp on was training and defoliating which is why it got so big and bushy last week. Still no nutrient deficiencies. I visited a website called cannastats a month ago and it actually breaks down ppm requirements for each element. Was a lot of work to get my spreadsheet to calculate properly, but really seems to be working. If anyone wants further details on this, feel free to DM me. I think the big stretch last week was caused by high temps, as a window was left shut when it shouldn’t have been, and also the light wasn’t in the middle because my friend moved the lights up and didn’t realise, so the colas at the back stretched more... that’s my theory anyway. Overall all is good, switch back to 3200k bulbs again today. Need a wide angle lenses to take a photo of this thing, she’s huge...
