4th week, stop root fertilizers and amino treatment.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the genetics of the Auto Euforia and the general success of the grow. I always like to reflect on mistakes I have made, so let me lay them out here: I overlit the plant during veg, contributing to it's bushy nature. It grew well but this would be a waste of electricity if I was growing more commercially. During the last week of flower, my region of Ontario was hit with tons of rain and humidity. I took some steps to increase circulation of dehumidified air, but lowering 95rh to 65-70rh is still insufficient and I lost some control of the environment. The awful result was the start of mold in some select areas, particularly in the fattest buds and where leaves were cut away and petioles remained. This issue is not due to Dutch Passions great genetics, and is entirely due to a combination of an unseasonable environment and my own overconfidence. This mold was never clearly apparent on the outside of the buds, but I found it will trichomes scouting under magnification. This forced me to speed up the harvest and drying process. It also means that I have had to carefully grade the buds into those safe for smoking and vaping, those mold free but needing a second examination (will be rosin pressed), and those close enough to spots of mold to be only for for edibles. Any moldy bud was of course cut away and will be disposed of. Nevertheless, I have many ounces of fantastic buds, and will be making some nice pressed rosin based 510 cartridges. I will edit the harvest post with more information after the cure, and showing the various processing I will be doing. Happy growing! 🌱

Day 45 for this beautiful lady. She’s very impressive. I’m happy with how she’s turning out. Fast buds really knocked this one out of the park. Can’t wait to watch her swell and bulk. She isn’t too stinky yet can’t wait to find out what she will smell like. She’s big and bushy which is awesome because she was just a little baby I wasn’t sure about her potential but boy oh boy she’s grown up.

Ok the problem was twofold. Soil was wet and my nutrient dose was too low. I was also a bit busy and my peat soil shop closed so I have yet to source it from somewhere I had some deficiencies in this week that are fixed now. Growth was stunted and some leaves yellowed a bit. The problem is I couldn't water them quickly because the soil stays moist for so damn long under this purple crap. Don't get one folks just build Citizen or whatever COBs if you want cheap good led. The pots are pretty thoroughly rooted so I started to feed 700 ppm dose when I could. All the pics are lazy and after spraying or watering cause these were some busy weeks I culled one plant with really thin stems, after practicing my abuse skills Anyway they are going under the CMH later

The Royal Haze is still producing new flowers, The Banana Punch looking close to harvest. GSC still not flowering

My first attempt at a scrog and only started it at day 7 of flower so a real rush job. Very happy with the outcome, bud quality is very high as is flavour and all from a 20L pot.

Day 99 for this girl. Finished her fourth flush session today and is real close to harvesting. Will give this girl one more day of light before putting her in the dark. She is super sticky and the tricones is on point.

2/12/25 top dressed with 2 tsp grow 1 tsp microbe and 2 tsp bloom. this genetic is always sooo freaking frosty. shes already starting to frost up on the fan leaves. finally looking like shes in flower. it took her awhile to get started i feel like compared to past grows/ other Cultivars. 2/18/25 she has a very nice and even structure to her. a bunch of tops that are 3-5 node top colas with a nice disconnected set of buds after an inch two space between the nodes. frosty gassy and fairly large considering pot size.

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Coop Poop, Feather Meal, and Soluble Kelp are ml/gallon of soil top dressed. Everything else listed in nutrients is ml/gallon of water fed to plants without checking the solution Ph. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 73°. It was sunny, cool, and a dry 35% humidity. The girls are super happy. I watered about 5 gallons today. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 74°F. I watered about 5 gallons of well water. The nights are super cool and the pm is coming back. I'll have more Growers Ally fungicide arriving tomorrow. I'll hit these with the double treatment to clean them up. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 84°F with sunny skies. The humidity is tipping back up but still below 80%. I didn't get photos for day 3. The girls are doing great. I treated with biofungicide today. They're feeding off the nutes in the pot. They run a little low on nitrogen overnight. When I water in the morning the feather meal on the top soil breaks down and they darken up. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 87°F with partly cloudy skies. I watered about 5 gallons. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 80°F. Skies were cloudy and we have a hurricane now tropical depression about to hit. I watered about 5 gallons. No rain yet. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 72°F. Skies were overcast and there was a drizzling mist all day. Humidity was 110% for at least 24 hours. The girls seemed to be fine. There's more rain in the forecast and I'm hoping we miss it.

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! The autos are flowering and just loving the sun. They are drinking daily. What a difference the sun makes. The others are moving soon. Gorilla is ready. Slurricane is ready to be cloned. So I must find time to set up the cloner. Maybe I'll go old school with it. Once I top her she will start branching. This is what we need more clones. I've been having trouble with seeds, got some more coming. I just dont have the time or energy to take care of them. That is obviously the problem here. The fluctuating humidity from 10% to 99% doesn't help.
