This grow is going to be a 2 plant photoperiod grow again. I haven't decided what training I'll be doing yet. Because this diary is being entered into the Eternity grow cup competition sponsored by Zamnesia and Plagron I'm launching the diary before I can get the grow going. My previous grow still has a few weeks to go and I have given my older equipment away so unfortunately I cant start germination yet, so it looks like I'll be behind most the other contestants by a couple of weeks, I should still finish the Runtz in time. I have recently started using the Plagron nute line and I am already impressed with there products. This diary is focusing on #1 Brand= Zamnesia Seeds Strain= Runtz Parents= Gelato x Zkittlez Genetics= 50% Indica / 50% Sativa Flowering Type= Photoperiod Flowering Time= 8-9 weeks THC 27% Nutrients. Radiator on= -19.0c Radiator off= +19.5c 💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧 Method= manually Feed=Seedling Nutes Neutralise=0.1ml/L Roots=5ml/L Easy Ph down=0ml/L (1ml=24 drops, each drop=0.04ml) Easy Ph Up=0ml/L (1ml=24 drops, each drop= 0.04ml) Ec=0.3 PH=6.3/6.1 💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧 ****************************************** 📅1/2/25 Saturday 📋The last plant in the tent came down yesterday so now I can start on this grow. Cleaned the tent. Checked supplies (need more fabric pots, soil and bloom nutes). Calibrated the Ec and PH pens. Make solution up, 0.1ml/L neutralise, 5ml/L Katana roots. EC=0.2 PH=5.8/5.8 cold. 📅2/2/25 Sunday 📋2.00pm selected the Runtz seed and dropped into solution. 6.20pm moved seed into moist paper towel between plates. Prepared 1L fabric pot with Biobizz light-mix. 💧0.5L Feed Ec=0.2 PH=6.3/6.1 📅3/2/25 Monday 📋 It's been a long day at work so didn't get to check how she was getting on until 8.00pm, tap root breaking through so she's a viable seed. Placed her into the pre watered 1L fabric and put some loose soil over her and moistened it. Then put her in the tent under 24hr light. H=0cm D=67cm Dli=13 PPFD=150 📅4/2/25 Tuesday 📋116 days left of comp. 📅5/2/25 Wednesday 📋 Looks like movement, I expect her to break ground tomorrow. 📅6/2/25 Thursday (Day 0) 📋7.00am broke surface but shell is on. 5.15pm shell slightly stuck so sticking humidity dome on for a few hours. 8.15pm shell off. I'm calling this day 0 for this plant. ****************************************** Germination summery. 📋 Because i have 2 plants drying outside the tent and my humidifier has packed in I have the humidity a little lower then I would like, not the best conditions. She has taken about 80hrs from the start of Germination to popping up which is a decent speed. Because I was late planting this one I'll have to do a short Veg period to make sure she finishes in time for the competition. Probably be about a 30 day veg cycle before I flip to flower. Back soon.
