the plants are using a lot of water. having to top up the res every other day or so. i need a bigger res. they are in full flower and have gotten very stinky. the smell is amazing. i can’t wait to try it out. buds are solid and getting fatter. looking good. business as usual.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Estopy muy contento como las veo. Hemos estado regandolas solo con agua y Té cada 20 días aproximadamente, solo depende como las vea. The girls are doin pretty good this week. Finished off L.S.T. earlier in the week. Applied first re-amendment of nutes, not including the compost tea from last week. Turned the light almost all the way up. Hoping to flatten out the canopy with a trellis net. There doesn't seem to be deficiencies on the new growth, and they're going full steam ahead so I'm happy about that.

Last final defoliation done, now buds are fully exposed to the lights and the best part, harvest trim will be easier. Still it took me around 8 h altogether to defoliate all of them. Tones of buds and frost , amazing smells. Won't rush will give it a bit more to swell. Another perfect auto genetics. 💚

Week 6 and still veg, they are knocking on Flowering's door but not there yet. Happy with growth and between the Coco Tek and the weekly foliar (just for good measure) no problems. Water slowly rising but keeping nuets reasonable. Increasing the bloom nuet ratio slightly as when it does go its gonna want lots of PK Side note: Cant really drop the new FFT-7/5 seeds till these go into flower (never seen it go this long) and I can move them under the HPS so... good and bad. 12/21 New pics hope they are better 12/22 Beginning to transition into flower now, colas beginning to form, so half and half on the nuets. Time for the last Kangaroots drench to get those roots as large as possible. 10ml with feeding at lights on tonight Ripley went into the Flowering tent as they just need more room, think it will be ok as Ripley could use some stretch, Tara remains in veg tent until Stardawg final harvest. 12/23 pics 12/24 All is good but think I am going to continue reducing the nuets 10% and checking EC of runoff as still getting some small issues on leaf tips. BLUE CUSH (Seedsman) 28 Days from sprout. Easy with the nutrient feed at about quarter strength recommended. She is small but seems to be doing well.

She's doing ok but all the leaves tips are curling including the small est ones and sugar leaves. I'm hoping she survives and does better than the first one. She also has mites I'm in a battle with. I'm going to do a whole tent clean down after she's done.

Another great week it’s been , 2 Ogreberrys an brucy b been flushing for a week, an the 3 others will continue to get there normal feed of nutrients, they are just not quite ready so they will start getting flushed around next week!! Sweet sweet smell of Grapes And gooey frosty nugs is all I can really say, photos do no justice, some of the craziest fruitiest smelling buds I’ve ever had, Real High quality meds !!
