Not much to say, I’m trying to get my tent to the right temp and humidity, checking for the best settings and making sure everything is ready.

End of week 4 and I have a bit more to report this week. On day 22 I topped this girl and she was a little slow to react, turns out my thermometer was in a bad spot and the girls were getting hammered by the heater 🤦‍♂️ lesson learned. Since re-positioning the thermometer they have bounced back and happy as Larry again, thank goodness. On day 27 i had brewed up my first compost tea and fed them a bit more than usual. The tea had a cup of Herbi's brew starter, a cup of work castings and a cup of organic compost. They loved it. I used the remains as a top dress afterwards. Today, on day 28, I defoliated and started LST, she's praying to the lights right now and I'm stoked! Hope you've all had a good week and thanks for checking in 🙏

Vegetation Week 14: Royal Growth & Pre-Flower Whispers Update: 17.06.2025| Day 102 Hey Growmies, Week 14 is pure satisfaction. The ladies radiate health, pests are history, and every sunrise brings visible progress. Here’s the serene update: Growth Report - Explosive daily growth: New shoots cascade like a "royal dress" – layered, lush, and dense. - Uniform deep green foliage – zero deficiencies, zero stress signs. - First calyxes spotted at nodes! Pre-flower transition seems imminent (expect that legendary sativa stretch from Durban soon). Pest & Recovery Update - Aphids/ants: Fully eradicated. No sightings all week. - Foliage untouched – pristine leaves from crown to soil line. Care Routine - Bokashi juice (1:100) twice weekly – plants absorb it effortlessly. - Deep watering only when soil dries 5cm down (encouraging root depth). - Mulch renewed – retains moisture through 28°C days. Environmental Notes - Weather: Stable 28-30°C days / 14-16°C nights. Light: 16+ hours daily – still solidly in veg territory. Next Steps - Monitor calyx development daily – pre-flower stretch could begin any day. - Keep airflow maximized through the dense canopy. Week 14 Takeaway Perfection in patience. After early battles, the garden now runs itself. These Dutch Passion phenos are sculpting themselves into regal, resilient queens. As always take care of your girls and thanks for checking in. Surprisingly could not find any amber. --- On the finger rub, the trichome texture was sticky and grainy with a grape-vitamin earthy terpene profile. - [20:14]: As for Heady OG BX1 #1, --- Trichome heads were looking about the same with mainly cloudy with a bit of clear. --- On the finger rub, the trichome texture was greasy with a lemon-pine-sol gasoline terpene profile. - [20:21]: Last but not least, for TKO #2, --- Trichome heads were looking about the same as the rest with mainly cloudy with clear. No ambering quite yet. --- On the finger rub, the trichome texture was greasy with kushy/earthy fuel terpenes. --- Plan to check again in about 10 or so days. --- Need to set a harvest day which will probably be in a few weeks. - [20:36]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Exciting week the plants are all out of germination and into their veg growth stage. This means we get to begin the exciting work of building our soil. When the plants veg growth reaches the tips of the pots, this indicates the roots also have and your plant is then ready for more room. We have a fantastic grow shop in town that is great about soil classes and teaching you some great essentials. We plan on utilizing this resource and will keep you updated with the progress of the soil build. Stay tuned for compost tea as well ;) Stopped by the grow shop to get the run down on the soil build. Because building your own soil creates hot soil, it needs to sit for 6-8 weeks. This obviously won't work for our purposes on this grow. After some deliberation we decided to go with a pre built soil that has already sat and composted. We are going to go with Build A Soil because they have done tons of research into their super soils. We want to do a super soil so that we don't have to top dress or add in any nutrients, we want the grow to be as natural as possible. After looking at Build A Soil's options we are leaning toward the L.O.S. OLY Recipe. This recipe uses 33% OLY Mountain fish compost. We want each plant to be able to finish out in the pots that we switch them into from their nursery pots. I recently found a new grow bag that we are going to try out for this next grow. It is a bag so it has a much larger circumference than the grow pots. It also has a lining on the sides of the grow bag so that it doesn't dry out from the sides like normal grow bags. This is our ideal growing situation because we are trying to simulate earth. When a plant is in the ground in the earth it doesn't dry out from the sides, we don't want our plants to either. The bags are very large (15 gal) but we don't want to fill to the top, in case we need to top dress more soil in the future. We use one cubic foot bag of soil per plant per container. This change will happen tomorrow at the turn of the week. Starting week two of Veg growth we will be in the containers that we finish in. This means minimal transplant stress and much less room for human error effecting my medicine.

Day 22- She stopped putting on height due to one night of a dramatic temperature drop. It's a cooler fall this year plus a freeze came through the night before. That night, I was up doing some studying when I noticed the reading on the remote display. N o telling how long it had been in the very low 60's. The problem was fixed simply by adding a heater to the room. Now, the temp is only in the 68 degree range for the final 2 1/2 hrs. before the lights are cut back on. Day 26- Her bud branches hav grown at least 2 -5 innches in length and have at least 2-4 bud sites already. Instead of Defoliation, I decided to actual two different types of LST. The first is simply bending to fan leaf branches under to expose the bud branches to more light. The main benefit is that you still keep the ability to absorb more of the light energy with them. I look at the fan leaves as your plant's " Personal Sun Panels". Since they store energy in the day and use that reserve to grow at night, why would you take something away for her that is meant to help her? Also, the second method I used is something I like to call" wind thickening". The technique is using wind resistance to train your plant's stem and branches to become more rigid by growing thicker to stablize itself. So, instead of a gentle breeze, I use a three speed box fan at varies distance. I started doing this on Day 22 and the results are definitely showing. The main stem went from 1/16 in. to a nice 3/8 in.

The false suns of Eldritch Gardens now obey the sacred rhythm of twelve hours of illumination and twelve hours of darkness. The long vegetative era has ended. The great stretch has begun. Also the nutrient line changed, changing the composition of the Bio feeding. Plant #1 — The Fat One — remains the undisputed giant of the chamber. Reaching 46 centimeters in height, it stands like an emerald monument beneath the LED constellations. Massive fan leaves spread outward in every direction. Its branches have thickened into sturdy green pillars capable of supporting whatever burdens the flowering season may soon impose. Among all the chosen, this specimen continues to inspire the greatest awe. Plant #2 — The Battered One — pursues a different destiny. Where Plant #1 dominates through scale, Plant #2 conquers through complexity. Its growth remains remarkably bushy, filling every available space within the garden with a dense network of branches and future flowering sites. Though it consumes less water than its larger rival, its development remains extraordinary. Plant #5 — The Red One — continues to be the smallest of the three. Its leaves remain modest in size, but its architecture is exceptional. Every branch appears carefully placed, creating a structure both elegant and efficient. While others chase mass and volume, Plant #5 appears focused on balance.
