420Fastbuds FBT2309 Germination Week Time has come yet to start another amazing Tester strain from 420Fastbuds FBT2309. Started germination on 2/7 by soaking the seed in just water for 48hrs then planting it directly in the soil (Roots Organic 707) in a 3gal fabric pot. I spray the top soil with my gallon sprayer keeping it moist for the next week. After 48hrs in the soil we have sprouts that emerged that appear to be healthy and happy. All in all Happy Growing

Day 56 Adjusting the trellis, I broke a branch, right at the stem. It was under the main and not receiving much light anyway, so... Also did a deep defoliation on NYD3. Got rid of anything that won't produce keepers. Trying to finish strong (14 days left).💪🏾💪🏾 Day 58 One leaf on each plant was discolored. No major fade yet. Each have a distinct smell. #2 smells like old school refer. It gives a real nostalgic 80s vibe. #3 smells like pine and Bengal. Watered top and bottom, with just a bit of CalMag. Day 60 48oz of pH 6.8 water. 1 or 2 leaves showing small amount of yellow, but nothing resembling fade. The canopy is green green, like she can go another month. A few of the nugs are impressive, but could be better if I had defoliated better. 60% of the bud sites are small and roughly 40 to 50% dense (assuming 100% is rock hard). Water, tucking, and plucking for the remainder. Day 62 It's a 70 day strain and with 8 days to go, there is no fade. Frustrating since I am over cooking my other plant for the sake of these two. They haven't done anything in over a week. Maybe that last heavy defoliation stunted them. So sad. Buying a jewelers loop tomorrow to check trichomes. The only other thing that could be delaying the fade is that I top dressed them both with Terp Tea Bloom. Maybe that top per gallon is hot and takes more than 2 weeks to be used up. I'm going to flush it tonight. Not even sure I should care about pH because I want it locked out from nutrient uptake. They just shouldn't be this dark green at this stage.🙄☹️😕😤 Ok so I pulled off the trellis net and LST ties, defoliated some more, and flushed both with 1 gallon each of distilled water. Added a little 3% peroxide to NYD3. Day 63 I figured it out. I made compost tea for NYD#1 to address a suspected deficiency. I gave these two some of it, and they didn't need it. It was half way thru flower. I followed that by top dressing with the new nutes. Lesson learned. What's good for the goose is NOT good for the gander.

She has left the Sunset Sherberts behind, and deciced to take advantage of the nice and toasty environment. Jedi (her name) has finally broken through. Steady at 21.5-24 C. RH at 65-75% with Spider Farmer Huimidifier and Dehumidifier, shooting for VPD. (day 1) Let's quickly review the key new components I've planned to integrate or have already: Circulation Pump - Adding this to the 14L Mars Hydro reservoir will ensure even fresh, circulated-for-a-miniute-every-hour, batch of water (and later nutes) to the auto-drip system, maintaining optimal feeding for my plants when I am away, next week. Biobizz & BioTabs Supplements - These organic nutrient and microbial products will provide a comprehensive and balanced feeding regimen for my plants. Auto-Drain Potted Plant Stands - The wheeled, auto-draining stands will simplify watering and prevent any spills or overflows. Inkbird Humidity Controller - Pairing this with the Spider Farmer humidifier and dehumidifier will allow me to precisely maintain the ideal VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) levels. LST Clips, Trellis Net & Shelves - These will help me maximize my grow space and optimize the plant canopy for optimal light exposure. With all of these elements in place, combined with my existing setup and the automated control via the iGrow app, I'm truly creating a "hands-off" grow operation. (theoretically, with a bro, coming to phiscally check too)....The ability to monitor and adjust key parameters remotely while I'm away in Italy. Running on Sunrise/set mode(18/6) over the "seedling" scene, in iGrow app, keeping track of DLI and later on, the Adlites will come into play. Temp at 23.5 and RH is at 60%.

Week 9 day 1 video pheno. Gonna chop this week Week 9 day 7 well chop this weekend so on week 10 Day 1-2. Just waiting on a light to reveg one. Everything is magic

Not a ton to report as I switch them to flower. The first day they went to the 12/12 light schedule I chopped the shit out of them, taking probably 100 fan leaves from the 4 plants all together. They're just too bushy and I feel like I'm asking for problems letting them grow into each other. Of course when you try to grow four plants in a 2x4 tent, that's an expected problem. They looked blended, bomb-out and depleted when I finished chopping leaves and pulling the main growth tips apart from each other and through the scrog net. I was a little worried that I overdid it, but 12 hours later they had more than bounced back. I'm a little leary of hard defoliation in flower, but pistils have hardly developed and the plants clearly need and respond well to it. I'm sure I'll take about the same amount from them a couple more times. A couple concerns: small amounts of white mold growth on the top of the coco of a couple plants and the sides of a couple bags. Very faint and not growing much. Also no signs of it on leaves or stems of the plants themselves. I've been spraying with a water/hydrogen peroxide mix. Also a few leaves here and there on a few of the plants look chewed up or torn. There are no signs of pests, so I think they're from some minor abuse during training or from the fan blowing. Will definitely be keeping an eye on mold/mildew and pests, especially going into spring locally.

This week the Gnome’s have been working on Defoliating and Topping of both of the plants. This is going to start the development process that will take them into adulthood. This will help the air to move through the plants more efficiently and start the “Martini Glass” shape that we all love, instead of the single cola look. Next week we will be “lollipoping” the plants to help air flow and to transfer energy to the canapé. The biggest thing to happen at the garden is that we are “Triggering Flowering” this week and watering has started to double in frequency.

My #1 plant is huge and doing amazing. Looks like loose soil is the way to go, not ever using root riots again- all the small plants were planted in root riots, but they’re catching up!

day 2 - they got a younger sister. 13 days younger tripple G by RQS also. she gets her own diary because of age diffrence. already she kinda want to outgrow the bluecheese also lol day 5 - the critical did not even care about topping and continues outgrowing the blue cheese by far in mass lol. might go for mainlineing like training methods for the critical. day 7 - i cut the lower branches of the critical and i will give her a little lst by pushing the shoots down with my fingers multiple time per day. now the blue cheese also catched up with the critical in height and they are both about 11cm tall. also applyed some LST just today on the 2 main branches for a mainlineing setup. i dont know how far i will go in therms of mainlineing but it works really nice for compensateing the growth of the other plants

Watering has jumped up to every 2 days ph 6.3-6.8 with 20% runoff Flower Fuel has been added to AP,GG and ZK watering's. Lights have been lowered to 24-28 inches. White Widow just started flower at end of the week. Still waiting on the Cream Cookie. Doing light Defoliation to expose bud sites to the lights.

So she’s looking good fattening up and looking very healthy! Flowers are forming nicely and are looking beautiful.

Hi guys well had a problem with these from above week 4 of veg m,had a spider mite infection and as I’ve never had one before I was mis diagnosing the problem.then my plants basically wer drooping so bad they wer dying so I took a closer look and spotted the little buggers draining my baby’s.so I lost one out of 3 and saved 2.i introduced 6lady birds striped all th leaves off them then sprayed them with canna cure every other day for 2 weeks and they look all good now but it definitely held these plants back about 3 weeks of growth I just hope my final yield is not affected but they look and smell good up to now,I learn something new every grow so it won’t happen again.im normally very clean but the infection came from me drying a plant in my tent that I grew outdoors in the summer will not ever bring anything in to my tent again like I say lessons learned.these are now at day 31 of flower

FastBuds - Forbidden Runtz Showdown We started another grow. This time we are going to start off with 2 sets of two auto's, after which we will start in three regulars right away. So we will double use the 18-hour schedule and try to save power that way. In addition to this challenge, we are going to do a Runtz Showdown between two respected breeders with comparable strains. Ci siamo! Siamo arrivati quasi al traguardo...questi giorni le ragazze sono al loro massimo splendore e l'odore nella stanza e fortissimo! Anche questo aggiornamento è stato fatto grazie all'aiuto di mia madre che gentilmente mi ha tenuto e curato le bambine, sono contento perché sembra che è riuscita a seguire tutte le mie istruzioni e questa volta non ci sono stati problemi...è la prima volta che mi capita di competere in un contest e farmi mandare foto per mail..chiedo scusa se la messa a fuoco non è sempre delle migliori e personalmente non posso chiedere di meglio, è un lavoro che mi serviva e sono dovuto partire lasciando tutto indietro...tornando ai nostri fiori, il green sensation di Plagron devo dire che ha fatto la differenza, contando che il cibo questa volta è stato preparato interamente da me, ha fatto un ottimo lavoro e i fiori sembrano dirlo forte! Cercherò di aggiornare l'ultimo step prima della fine...tra due giorni farò tagliare le ragazze! A presto!!!

Will report back with a smoke report, but this thing smells incredible and budded extremely well. Didn't have much of any issues with pests. Got a BIG 4' plant from only super soil in a 5-gallon fabric pot. Tons of resin. Very impressed with these automatic genetics from Pride of the Lion Seeds... and I'll definitely be growing another one of them in the spring.
