My Soaptini plant is still on the smaller side, but it's finally starting to take off. I think it's going to stay pretty short and stocky, which will be interesting to see. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Starting fatten and frost up nice now. Not much else to report. 4 - 6 weeks remaining. Added some photos of some clones I've grown in an aeropnic propagator as it's the same strain and looks cool xD This is the first strain that when I touch the trichomes and sniff the sticky resin on fingers, it actually smells of the strain. Pure Cookie/Sorbet bliss. Fingers crossed I'm on to a winner of a pheno here!

So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn''t getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don''t know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3 months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not and will not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. It is going to be some cool new limited edition Mephisto Illuminautos. I am pretty excited. Good luck out there and always grow from your heart folks. -Grim

Sep 6: Tropicana Cookies FF is doing great. Maybe not as much flower maturation last week as I expected but we’re just starting week 8 of flowering. So likely the end of September which is fine for the late start on this plant. Sep 7: decided on a final top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom. Seems they need a bit more P. Sep 12: don't take flash pics unless you follow it up with a far red (730 nm) light to put the plant solidly into dark mode. Still using the far red light every night at dusk timed based in Civil Teilight as listed in timeanddate.com. Now at about 8:30 and when flowering started it was at about 10:00.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50Β° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. This soil has nutrients premixed into it. I mixed 320ml Organic Coop Poop 2-4-3, 160ml Espoma blood meal 12-0-0, and 480ml Gaia glacial rock dust per 32 gallon pot. The above listed nutrients will be dry amendments per gallon of soil. In anticipation of possible heavy rains I filled pots halfway with soil. Half the soil and it dries twice as fast. I will add soil as soon as these get taller and are out of danger from excessive moisture. These had an excellent start. We had a couple of warm 70Β°F sunny days to start off their first week. The third seed popped overnight and made it's appearance on day 2 this week. We got more rain on night 1 and some early morning Day 2. More rain on day 5 that continued intermittently through the night and into the morning of day 6. Day 7 we had sunshine in the afternoon. The wet conditions these seedlings faced are challenging for cannabis. Cannabis especially seedlings don't like wet feet. I've come to appreciate fastbuds genetics for their hardiness to challenging outdoor conditions. Despite the rainy overcast weather this week was a success. All three of these girls are growing and developing without showing any major stress. We will have cooler days and more next week, but these fastbuds are going to thrive as their roots develop and begin to explode upward.

The plants are starting to swell with dense buds and a pungent earthy aroma. I harvested one blueberry I had in a container. Had a bit of bud rot, probably 5%. None the less the buds were ready, heavy tight dense nugs. Wet weight trimmed off the stem was 978gs. Do si dos is almost done. She is small in comparison to the other plants, but she will be ready soon and looks like to be incredibly potent. Everything else is coming along, Fingers crossed for good weather.

August 5th. 52 days post flip. Clones: All 3 plants are Growing well with number 2 doing exceptionally well Had some bottom leaves falling off and obviously top buds above light not doing great on all 3 so we just installed an ion beam s16 from AC infinity as supplemental lighting for those top colas and one at the center for deeper penetration. I think the added 60 watts of high quality Samsung horticultural LEDs will help this plant. Going to be top dressing them here soon to keep them happy and healthy. As far as bud structure goes number two is my favorite. Tightest density and I think it will finish well. Number 3 is super interesting. Going to grow a giant upside tear drop shape bud by the looks of it. And last but not least number 4 the weirdo is beyond words. Parents: Growing well. God bless

Well week 3 started on Monday, I'm late to the party, lol. Everything is going pretty decent so far. One surprise though...they have a smell. They didn't at this stage last time. Weird, lol. I gave them a slight trim and will be done with that until flowering. They seem very happy! βœŒοΈβ€οΈπŸ˜πŸ€πŸŽΆ EB

Plants almost doubled their height. So i did some lst on them for the last time. Was hoping to use the scrognet, but i will wait with that till week 4 of flower. Plants are very bushy and grow good till now on. Feeding them with 2ml/l fishmix and 4ml/l bloom from biobizz. Also i spray fishmix as foliar spray and the ladies love it. Im growing in a 1.2x1.2x2m tent and it is a little tight with 2 50l buckets in here but i wanted to fill out the tent. So hopefully after this last time lst the 2 plants will almost cover the entire tent
