Another week is gone. I have done some defoliation to make airflow better and give as much light to the bottom nugs as possible. Plants are tough, smell beautiful and buds are getting some size already. Cheers!

Oatmeal cookies has no frost. She looking a little light. I think this is week eight and she not looking straight. But other than that don’t look like I’m getting any seeds and the bud looks weak anyway. I guess I didn’t pick a winner after all. Well back to the lab. 😁

The looks on this one are sexy! It also burns even. Effects wise, first 15 mins you perceive a high cerebral rush that peaks at 30 mins. Makes you feel creative and with energy. Later on, the cerebral effect dissipates and leaves you feeling all giggly and relaxed in da body. The smell is all about sweetness and gas with a funky grapey smell hugging and keeping those close. Colors didn't showed much cause of the 24/0 light cycle but it ended up showing some purple hues during late bloom. Overall this girl was so fn grateful with the treatment she received.

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Yeah it’s not anything like I had planned, but like I said last week, there is always next year. I’m just giving her molasses here and there. I don’t know the pH or ppm of the feed water. It’s just molasses and my 8 pH well water. Then back to just plain water if I’m not feeding. There are obviously a lot of soil amendments that I’m leaning on. I suppose the picture of her trunk isn’t that impressive because it lacks a reference of scale. But those are some big roots on the top there.

Day 92: what’s happening guys! Week 14 is here. Temps have been okay and humidity has been okay. I’ve got the 400w hps set up and it’s dropped temps slightly and slightly raised humidity which is what I wanted. In my opinion she’s looking ready for the chop! I’m seeing plenty of cloudy trichomes and a few ambers and I’m going for less of a couch lock so I’m thinking around now she is ready. I started plain water 6 days ago and she’s recieved 2L,1L and then 1L again today. All leaves have started yellowing, I imagine this is the plant pulling the nitrogen from the leaves as there’s none at the roots. How much longer does she need to be fed plain water for before she is ready for the chop? Thanks! Stay safe and happy growing✌️🌱🍁 End of the day edit: I decided to harvest the majority of her. The bottoms just a bit under developed so I’ll leave it going a bit longer. After chopping and taking photos out of the hps light the nugs are looking a tinge purple although I can’t see it as strong with my eyes. Hopefully I’ll get a wet weight later so I can add it to the diary later on. Temp is around 24c and humidity is 45-55. How does that sound? I’ve got extractor at the top and a fan at the bottom. We’ll see how long it takes to dry, hoping to go for atleast 5 days. With the virus going around I’m really making use of what I have at home so hopefully the climate will hold up🤞 any tips and advice about drying and curing etc is hugely appreciated🙏 I’ll be back with the harvest update once she’s dried out✌️many thanks happy growing!🍁🌱 She weighed in wet at 110 grams. ⭐ TrolMaster tracking ⭐ I started to track my crop during week 15, when I got the Tent-X TCS-1 by TrolMaster. First impression was: this is too professional for me, I can't handle setting it up and using it well. Then I started reading some posts on Instagram, I visited their site and in 5 minutes my cultivation experience took a huge step forward with disarming simplicity, I couldn't believe it. I have uploaded tracking videos from the TrolMaster app for each week from the 15th to the 19th, as well as the two weeks of drying stage. ⭐ Controller Chronicles ⭐ Day after day I appreciated the clarity and precision for data, access to all settings and instant readings by connecting a WIFI router to the controller's LAN port. I loved the possibility to dim my lamps remotely, or even automatically based on the temperature in the box! 🌱 GERMINATION (2 days) Seeds in a glass of EC 0.4 tap water for 10 hours, then in root riots and under the lamp. They sprouted after 48 hours from dry seed. 🌿 GROWING STAGE (10 weeks and half) I decided to give these plants a long vegetative growth and this allowed me to do a lot of training on both. Starting from the 4th veg week I started with defoliation sessions every two weeks, for a total of four during the entire vegetative phase. The last defoliation was done a couple of days before the switch, in order to allow the lower parts of the plant to get as much light as possible. Furthermore I did Topping on week 6, cutting the apical branch, then on week 8 I did Topping again on several sites, as well as SuperCropping on the highest branches to make the canopy uniform. The light cycle I used is 18/6 and the last two veg weeks I lowered the light hours to 16/8 first and 14/10 then. During the veg stage I made 4 DWC change, PH was always between 5.5 and 6, about EC I started with 0.6 and was 1.4 on the last veg week. 🌸 FLOWERING STAGE (9 weeks) I started this phase after 36 hours of darkness, I then changed the DWCs solution (adding a flowering stimulator). Then I mounted the ScrOG-net about 50 cm from the base of the plants and I wove the phenotype #1 through the net occupying at least 60% of the available space; the phenotype #2 stretched shortly after the switch and I used the net only to widen the central branches. They showed the pre-flowers two weeks after the switch, then I made two defoliations on week 3 and 5 flo. During the last four weeks of flowering (weeks 6-9) I simply paid attention to the PH-EC levels to provide the roots with optimal conditions. I then kept the TEMP-RH-VPD-PPFD values ​​under control and this also thanks to the Tent-X controller by TrolMaster which allows me to provide optimal conditions also above. I chopped them when trichomes were about 85% milky and 15% amber. During the flowering stage PH was always between 5.8 and 6.2, about EC I started with 2 and was 2.3 on the last week before flush. ✅ HARVEST - From dry seed to harvest: 140 days (2 days germination + 75 days veg + 63 days flo). - Chopped after 4 days flush and 48 hours in dark; - Wet trim, removed fan leaves. ✅ DRYING STAGE - Time: 14 days; - Average: 20° C - 50% RH. - After that I made a dry trim, removed branches and sugar leaves. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT - Phenotype #1: 230 gr buds + 25 gr larf; - Phenotype #2: 105 gr buds + 50 gr larf. So, the overall dry weight is: 335 gr buds + 75 gr larf. ✅ CURING STAGE - Curing is done after 30 days with Boveda 62%.

Another week has stared and thease girls are monsters! The Gummiebears is in a 4 gal pot and is 41 inches tall ( 52 from the floor ) and is outgrowing the tent ( who says you shouldn't too autos? Lmao ) and as you can see the other 3 are in 1.5 gallon pots and are monsters as well .. if I don't pull 20-24 ounces this run I will be surprised honestly.. side note.. I cut the 2 lines branches early on from the Cream auto and put them in a vase for 2 weeks and they rooted so I stuck them both in the same little container and they have settled in nicely as I see new growth daily.. it's gonna yeild me an additional half ounce possibly? First week of flowering was interesting, started scrOG training looks like I’m exposing the plant to grow more cola’s crossing my fingers on this. The aroma of the plant is starting to get stronger.
