Hello Diary, Cherry Pie has completed the second week of flowering. The flowers are forming nicely, the areas around the flowers are a lighter green color, so it looks like it has Christmas lights on it. Cherry Pie has started to stagnate in growth, this week only 9 cm, now the plant will direct most of its energy into the flowers. The leaves are a healthy green color and so far they do not show me any signs that the plant is missing anything. Watering was every three days, I continued to add CalMg and Bio-Bloom Fertilizer. The conditions in the grow box are now much better. The temperature is around 28 degrees and the humidity is below 50%. Overall I am very happy with the growth and progress so far. Here is a quick overview of the week. 24/08/2024 - Day 31. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water. I added CalMg 1 ml/lit, Bio-Bloom Fertiliser 1.5 ml/lit and then lowered the p.H. to 6.0. With this amount I watered all three plants evenly. 27/08/2024 - Day 34. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 28/08/2024 - Day 35. End of the second week of flowering, or the fifth week from the beginning of vegetation. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. DWC stripped to the wood no suckers only AAAA quality buds I’m looking for especially if she’s a leafier bud. It’ll be a challenge keeping her in Veg any longer but still looking at minimum two week before she sees the flower tent. Week 7 Flower, frosty, smells great, she really puts on the weight late flower so it’ll be interesting to see where she stops.

Just humming along now. The smell is so amazing and unique. I was under impressed with this plant at first, but the frost and terps are changing my mind. Very unique sweet m, candy/floral with a hint of gas. Can’t wait! ✌️💚🌿💨

What a journey it has been from seed! I made a lot of mistakes in the first few weeks of this growing journey. I feel like I had a mini-crash after finishing the first year of grad school, and although I am growing cannabis as part of my research project, I haven't been the greatest at paying attention to it. This is not an excuse. It has actually been a learning opportunity. I realized that my body needs proper schedules to function and grow, just like a plant. The problems with the plant have really been my own problems. Let's just say that a plant may be the reflection of the grower. First, the light cycles were wrong and inconsistent. I thought that I could manually control the light schedule for the plants and be alright. However, I was wrong. My sleep schedule has been very inconsistent for the past few months. Mainly because we are living through a pandemic, and secondly because I am a graduate student 😂. How naive was it of me to think that a plant could follow my own rhythms? I guess it highlights my 'plant blindness.' Second, the light intensity was low and PH levels high. In the last five days, I have learned that plants are living organisms (I knew this, but my plant blindness is quick to dismiss it, I need to stop fighting these "plant voices" (signals)) that require a proper environment to grow, similar to humans. Of course, a plant is not human, but it is alive and living. It needs water, a regular schedule (light (active) /darkness (rest), oxygen, nutrients, and an overall good environment to grow. Concern about the size of my plant at five weeks, I decided to conduct a few experiments at home. Here are my notes: Friday, July 23, 2021, I took the plant out of the tent at 6:00 AM and placed it in front of my backyard window that faces the Eastside, perfect for sunrise. On that day, I had a few errands to run, and when I arrived home, it was 2:30 PM. The sun was now hitting the West side of my house, and I had to move the plant in front of my bedroom window. At around 7:00 PM, I went to look at the plant and noticed that its leaves were looking plumpy. So, I decided to take a timelapse to see what I would be able to record. During "magic hour" (sunset), I recorded and witnessed the plant moving with the rhythms of the sun. Plant, like humans, function at their best when they are synchronized with their circadian rhythm. The pandemic has definitely disoriented us to the point that it has disrupted all of our schedules. To this day, I feel tired from everything we have all been through; how could I possibly think that a plant would thrive with such a messed-up schedule? The time lapse made me realize that the plant needs some structure to thrive, and so do I. So, as much as I like to think that I can be disciplined and follow a plant's schedule, I cannot. So, I went to the store and bought the Globe Suite smart plug to automate and schedule the light cycle to 12hrs of light and 6 hours of darkness. Saturday, July 24, 2021, the plant woke up to the set schedule of the lights. I checked on the plant first thing in the morning, around 9:30 AM. The leaves look much greener and thicker than they did the day before. Sunday, July 25, 2021. I was away overnight and did not arrive home until 2 PM. The plant looks twice the size it was on Friday! Today, I will water the plant. I got a PH test kit and realized that the way that I measured the PH level, the first few weeks was wrong 🤦‍♀️🏽. I measured the PH correctly, to 5.9, and added some Reefertilizer grow nutrients to the water. I watered from the top, distributing the water evenly around the stem. My partner pointed to me that the lights seemed dim for the stage of the plant's life. So I had my lights set at 100 watts running at 20 % 😅. I realized that I had not increased the light intensity since the first few weeks of vegetation 🤦‍♀️🏽. So I increased the intensity to 100 watts running at 60%. Monday, July 26, 2021. First check-in 7:00 AM: The plant looks like it loves all of the new changes that I have made! It is finally growing 🤗 The sun is out, but it is not as intense as it should be because tiny particles of smoke are present in our air due to the wildfires, and they create a filter that makes the human eye see the sun blood red. It is quite apocalyptic. Regardless, I decided to take the plant out from the tent and record a time-lapse. It is fascinating how much movement plants have despite showing no noticeable signs of movement (to the human eye). Tuesday, July 27, 2021. It has been five days since I have made big changes to the plant's schedule and environment. The plant is finally showing good signs of growth, and its leaves colours have changed to a deep green. I am not watering the plant today, but I am spritzing it with water. I decided to take another time-lapse of the plant, but this time inside the tent. As I was setting up the tripod for my camera, I accidentally increased the humidifier 🤦‍♀️🏽. Luckily, I noticed within a reasonable timeframe and reduced the humidity and made the environment better. I increased the light intensity to 100 watts at 100%. The plant will stay in the tent all day today because it is raining ☔️.

Hello world, 🇬🇷 the previous week was training week for Michelle,who was LSTed and for Lucy who was topped...the girls are fine and growing...they also got fed with the Enhancer,which scares me a bit,but everything went well... WEEK 5:"MAGIC PEOPLE,VOODOO PEOPLE" ☠️Day 29...out in the sun with normal temps and no wind...watered with ph 6,4,about 500 ml...I have changed my water pattern with these girls...I used to water every 3 days with 1,5 L but now I do it daily with less water...What I need now is light...I grow with the sun and the last days haven't been too sunny here...now the weather is changing again...come on Sun,give me some light!Meanwhile when it's sunny it's too windy,so windy that I have to put them inside as they will be seriously damaged... ☠️Day 30...I think instead of topping I may have fimmed Lucy...not sure as I have never done fimming before...Now I inderstand why they call it like that...in my case: Fuck,did I miss???🤣🤣🤣...we"ll see...however new shoots are growing well... ☠️Day 31...as I was watching my girls with pride and love,the sunlight revealed hundreds of tiny white bugs jumping on the soil..I mean they are hundreds...I sprayed with vinegar just the top layer of the soil and waiting to see... I made a grow question and I got a very interesting advice from a fellow grower...I sprayed with cinnamon extract...hope it will help... Today I applied LST to Lucy as she is getting very tall and lunky...she's been topped,LSTed and she will be topped again when time comes... ☠️Day 32...windy and rainy outdoors...the girls are inside...Today I adjusted Michelle's LST... ☠️Day 33...the weather is fucked up...one week ago we had 40°C and today it's cold and rainy...summer is not here yet....I realized I Fimmed Lucy instead of topping her as new growth came up on the cut stem...I cut it off again as I can't experiment now,I have never Fimmed before and don't know what to expect... ☠️Day 34...no sunlight for the girls...its very cloudy and may rain again...meanwhile the bugs are vanished...cinnamon and vinegar did their job... ☠️Day 35...finally we have some sun and the girls are outside...they have stayed a bit behind all those days inside without proper light... the week is ending,thank u all for watching..see u next week ☠️

So i had to take all my plants inside because i found bud rot on 2 of them & the weather wasn’t going to get any better, had to transform my bedroom into a grow room😂 & i have 2 more plants which i am going to finish next to a window.. The smaller plant to the right is a Northern light by zamnesiaseeds that has a seperate diary if you are interested! I really hope the bud rot doesn’t spread anymore & if anyone has any tips or tricks for that they are always welcome!

F1 Did some topping this last week. In a couple of days will turn them to flowering, would like to keep it between 3-4 weeks of veg at most with the Autopits or they grow way too big. Next week will be putting more nutes on the reservoir, by now that are drinking quite slowly but already using the Autopots

These girls are packin! The most satisfying part of a grow for me is to see the fruits of my labour blossom into plump nuggets of dank joy! They are reacting to the flush in typical fashion. Phosphorus is running out of the fat indica fingers, creating a purple hue. The pheno on the left is a week ahead of the right side plant. At least. I could even see it going longer. Very excited for the range of effects in regards to sativa/indica ratio. A few amber trichromes here and there but the majority are developing a haze that will lead to the results seeking. Soon. We are almost there.

Hello Canna Fam, So the end of week 8 has arrived and the ladies have started to bud up😎 I did a bit of defoliation last night to the Six Shooter and the Girl Scout Cookies as they were very bushy. Hopefully I wasn’t too heavy handed with the plucking and the growth does not slow down too much. The LSD-25 and the Gorilla Cookies are the most developed in terms of bud size and trichomes production but the Girl Scout Cookies is closing in nicely. I was ahead of schedule with my weekly updates so I am changing this week to the true week 6 update, photos are about a week and a half from last week update. Starting flowering nutes tomorrow after flushing all day today, seeing a lot of new pistil growth. I was hoping to have these harvested around week 10 but I’m thinking it’s gonna be more like 12 or 13 now which is fine, just taking it day by day. This week has been a lot of stretching, with the tallest one coming out at around 17 inches. I was gone on a trip for 5 days and left them to their own devices, and returned to see great growth and no signs of any issues. Humidity was at 90% in the tent when I got back which scared me but I saw no signs of stress, these girls really are some hulks. Aired it out and it’s back to a reasonable level now. I’ve been expressing my worries in previous updates about the plants growing too big for their grow area, however nothing is getting out of control and I don’t see them growing more than 12 more inches, which at max could be pushing a little close to the light but should be ok. Starting to get hints of some nice pungent smells which are different than the previous earthy ones, getting pretty excited.

DAY 53 Had to take out of the room the Amnesia XXL hermaphrodite; cant take the risk of turning the rest into males too. DAY 54 FUUUCKKK!! The wind dropped a piece of heavy wood onto the plants!!! 1 of the Moby Dick was totally broken. Some branches of the neighbour plants were affected too. So that's 2 plants lost at the moment (the hermaphrodite and the broken one). Day 56 Two days after the tragedy. Had to reorganize the room to prevent similar accidents in the future 🖤😢 Saved the most I could but definately this stressing event will influence the plant’s development. Also, considering taking out the claw leaved plant, which has signs of hermaphroditism (FML again 😫). Hope these 7 make it till the end. PS: Also, there’s 1 Moby Dick which has no signs of flowering at day 56, cant figure out what’s happening with it. I’m starting to think that it’s an Regular Feminized seed instead of an autoflowering.
