7/11/21 - Day 50! We are almost there! Started feeding it straight water until harvest. The nutrients have done their job and they look really good. 7/12/21 - Leaving for vacation and we have someone watering for us. I will try to update it daily while on vacation. They looks so good. Dense and fat nugs all over the place. 7/13/21 - Looking good! They are almost done. We can’t wait to harvest when we get back from vacation. 7/14/21 - Looking very good! Only a couple weeks before we chop them. 7/15/21 - Back from vacation and got to inspect the plants for myself. They are awesome! VERY dense and smell great. I can see it has another week or so left. I’m just giving it water until harvest. 7/16/21 - Almost time… We aren’t going to jump the gun. Conditions are perfect so we will be patient. (Two new videos added today). We are going to chop on day 60-63. 7/17/21 - We will be chopping in 6 days. They are on track. We are very excited. Check out all the pics and vids above!

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

18/09/2023 I'm very eager to harvest, especially since they all seem ready for harvest except for number 3. Like in the previous weeks, I'm hardly cutting anything, just removing the yellow/brown leaves that come off easily when I pull on them. Regardless, I think I'll harvest next week because the small buds in the lowers parts of the plant and not just the sugar leaves are starting to turn yellow/brown. I forgot to take a picture of the main cola of number 2. I still can't upload great quality vidéo idk why sorry for that ridiculous amount of pixel in the video. 20/09/2023 I was watching a guy on Youtube talking about harvesting when this idea (See the last picture) came to me... I feel so DUMB for not doing this WHEN I did the LST... SEVEN WEEKS AGO, and right now I would not be struggling with the little delay on number 3.

Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Week 9 started on May 29, 2022 This week is gonna be the last full veg week. I added the flowering HPS light to the side where the cola was injured, plants love the HPS so I figured why not, I'll ned it during flower. Of course that raised tent temps a full 3-5 degrees, had to change some ventilation parameters, fan speed went up on both in tent, and on the a/c infinity. I also cleaned the screens, and opened another vent at the base. Fans are on. The plant has done very well. Added Foop spray into the mix and so far so good, I see that it has slightly improved the plant in a short period, and it smells pretty good, took it to the garden for more trials. Dudes at AutoPot USA fixed my stuff!! Thanks guys. The fix they troubleshooted worked. My res is below 300 ppm and at 69 degrees F I have Fox Farms Bloom diluted and Bio War Flower crushing the biologicals - after I fixed the leak issue, I figured why not feed her while she gets her finals sea legs for the flower trip ahead. Nothing crazy, I run stuff diluted, especially when I am dialing my light pre flower, I can't risk burning them with heat or nutes. I am a tucking fool, a bending fool, and a foop spraying fool this week, you guys are not gonna believe how many fan leaves this thing put out in seven days, and I took off a significant amount mid week 8, I was a bit worried, oh well, never-mind this is White Widow, she doesn't care, all she wants to do is bust outside in jungle in South America

Week 9 of the 7gal pot GMO cookie’s & w/7 for the 5gal GMO cookies This week was the start of flower for all. Same thing they got once a week feed of elemental 1/4tsp to 1gallon of water. 1/2 gal to the 7gal gmo girls an 60oz to the 5gal gmo girl them back to daily plain PH 6.3 R/O water daily for 7gal @1/4 gal an 5gal pot 40oz . All are thriving currently an growth rates are going smoothly an even. The 5gal gmo girl is untrained at 20in hight start of flower an GMO girls in 7gallon pot are at 17in high. Temps are 78 with 60-65% RH. Also readjusted ties downs for a bigger spread.

Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Happy with the second NLXL harvest. smells great after a week curing. NLXL#3 doing still doing pretty good, not too many new yellow leafs.

Today i flip the light. 12/12 for the bloom. The bright appearance of the leaves and the slightly reddened stems indicate a nutrient deficit. In this case I would say nitrogen. But I have exaggerated a bit with my fertilizer use. Accordingly, I flushed the plants today. The measured pH was 4.8. I think I slightly salted the floor. Let's see if they recover. Day 73: On the detail photo you can see very well how the stem turns slightly reddish and the stems on the leaves as well. Day 74: The plants look better than a few days ago. They are now growing visibly from day to day. Timely flushing saved a lot, I hope. Day 77: Last day of the first week of flower. It was a strange week. But they still grow.
