Quite a sad run to be honest, but it's all due to bad decisions on my side. I decided to top her and even though she seemed to take it well, it might have triggered something. She also was a stretcher with such a large inter-nodal space that I didn't find necessary to defoliate anything and I didn't remove any budsites. The result was a ton of small popcorn buds. And to not help, I waited way too long before giving her nutes, thinking I could do all the run without using any but even when I started giving her some, the schedule was close to being improvised. I would normally have given her more time to flower but a space problem in the tent caused me to chop her down prematurely, still with a majority of cloudy trichomes and some amber ones. I would definitely redo some stuff but she still outputted some very decent flowers, effect and taste wise because let's be real, they look terrible, almost like seaweed. I'd love to retry this strain.

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Buenísima, hermosa planta, punteros y cogollos pretos, tonalidades rosas, purpura, amarillo, luego fuera de la luz es más negra,oscura, es hermosa x donde la veas, mas alla de los signos en sus hojas, esta muy bien y el olor q tiene es espectacular, dulce, afrutado, terrible... Está hermosa... Espero verla ya en la semana final prevía al corte... De momento no hay problema, todo genial .. 👌🏻😎 buen fin de semana para tod@s y buenos humos... 🇦🇷🤝🏻🇪🇦 👍🏻

Nothing much to report. Buds gradually thickening up. Smells gorgeous! Will be a shame to cut her down...the chop is coming though. I'm not sure the yield will be that good as she didn't stretch much but time will tell...

All appeared well with this Lady until yesterday 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I noticed a small discoloured patch on one of the top buds, it had the start of what appeared to be bud rot 😿 Asked a couple of mates their opinion and we’ve all come to the same conclusion. I’ve checked the rest of the plant and can’t see any signs of any more. She’s meant to be coming down in 7 days, but that may have to be pushed forward. I’ve bought some more fans (5 to be precise) they should arrive today, so hopefully that should help. I’ve needed to upgrade my fans for a while, wish I’d sorted it out sooner. I’ve added a video at the end showing the bud in question. Don’t be surprised if this diary updates as finished in the next few days, until next time 🌱💚

The plants have slowed their uptake of water. That combined with cooler temps have reduce to watering to a few gallons a day. I've included my end of generative 3 phase nutrient formula for this week. They are all close to generative 4 so I'll be watching for the upper leaves to fade to see if they will need to be fed. All of the plants were given tap water on day 1. Day 2 of this week everyone received the nutrient formula listed @2 gallons per pot. Day 3-7 this week just tap water. Plants are feeding lite and there's plenty of nutrient built up in the soil.

Day 71, 19.06.2024 As the new and possibly last week of blooming arrives I am looking at two ladies, that behaved quite well during the last weeks. They grew close and it will be a shame to cut them down in the end. However, what must be done, must be done right? Today there will be the second to last nutrition intake for them. I decided to cut the BioBizz Grow and CalMag completely so they will receive 600ml of 4/4ml (Bloom/TopMax) later today. Also today I saw the first amber trichomes through my pocket microscope. But not enough yet - maybe I will stop feeding nutes after todays "last supper" and start flushing... Day 72, 20.06.2024 No action today. Day 73, 21.06.2024 600ml of water each - no nutes. I think it might be the big finale. I am thinking about harvest next and watching a lot of YouTube about that topic 😂 Day 74, 22.06.2024 No action on the plants but to give them a check up. I finally see the first amber trichomes on both of the plants, woohoo 🙌 Removed 3-5 fan leafs that were starting to get yellow. Time to make up a plan for the harvest I guess! Currently the plan is - to do harvest in 4 days from today in the evening (Wednesday, 26.06. ~1700). - I stop watering immediately - no more soup for you! Maybe I did not do flushing long enough, but my hope is that using organic fertilizer eases the effects - I will not switch off the lights on Monday at 1100 (like usual). Instead I will keep it on until 1700 - then switch them off completely. - 48h later on Wednesday I will harvest I do all this to inflict stress to the ladies. Stress by low water, stress by longer light followed by stress due to no light at all. All this will hopefully lead the plants to 1. produce more trichomes as a defensive reaction and build up bud mass 2. urges the plant to process as much chlorophyll as possible which leads to better taste in the end So much for the plan. Let's see how this turns out. Day 75, 23.06.2024 The good thing about not watering anymore: No action today. But as today would mark the "point of no return" in a way I will double or even triple check for the trichomes. If they are ready, I will commence the plan of not watering and longer lighting tomorrow. If there is doubt I will shift the plan day by day. Aaand here it is: Doubt! After checking the trichomes again I found too much of them clear. I decided to not rush things and thus postpone the harvest for at least 3 days. So today there will be a (late) flush and we will take it from there. Day 76, 24.06.2024 No real action today but to check in trichomes. Erika II has a good number of amber trichomes while Erika I still has too mich clear ones. It's a dilemma. But I will hold on to the plan for now which says: Harvest will be on the weekend (friday presumably)! Day 77, 25.06.2024 Today we reached 30°C outside and it is (finally) getting summer here in germany. This resulted in 28°C inside the tent & it felt good to give the ladies some craved water: ~1000ml went in the pots before the drain started. This was definetly the last drink. Tomorrow the last light cycle will start. Today is tuesday. The plan for harvest is as follows: Wednesday: No action. Thursday: Lights out at 1100. They stay off until the end. Friday: Harvest will begin at around 16:30 after work. Both plants will be harvested & hung up for drying. I am thinking about doing one plant using wet-tim and one plant using dry-trim techniques, just to have the comparison right after the first grow. I guess I need to make up my mind about that...

These ladies are growing great, this week I've seen some progressing growth upwards and the flowers are developing nice. One of them is super frosty and stiky already so it'll be interesting to see if it keeps it up it'll make a good extraction strain possibly. All in all Happy Growing

05/27/2021 Its been a while but all is well, the red light only seems to have encouraged lots of new growth. But I think I'm going to stick with 25-50% blue spectrum and 100% red for the finish. I'm kind of disappointed that she has no distinguishing smell, but she was bred for resistance to PM specifically. All the good stuff will come once i have stabilized consistent PM resistance. (Work in progress) Then the good stuff will be worked in..... If needed. Ps. I do believe it will likely be 12+ weeks of flowering to finish (Hope she has a racy/trippy sativa side) fingers crossed🙏

Muy buenas a todos! pues familia hemos pasado la primera semana del trasplante, contento ha pesar de asumir las consecuencias del uso de spurzit para eliminar unos acaros que ya espero estar erradicado (x3 aplicaciones en 2 semanas, 2 leves y una contundente) usamos preventivo de diatomeas! que con el riego se va eliminando pero ni tan mal. van avanzando y veremos como avanzan con intención de ser su ultima semana en vegetativo :D

Holaa sexta de la Negra44 y ultima semana de vegetación lo que me tiene muy contento. Hago los riegos 1/1, uno solo con agua(EC: 0.4) y el otro con los fertilizantes. En los riegos estoy utilizando Sensi cal-mag para llegar a una EC base de 0.4 y luego aplicar los fertilizantes. Regulo el PH con los reguladores de BioBizz. El día de hoy (04/08) se le realizo una defoliación pequeña en la cual solo elimine los brotes del primer nodo de la planta, luego se hizo la segunda aplicación vía foliar de Delta9 y en 10 días será la ultima aplicación que será a través del riego. El cambio del fotoperiodo lo hago de manera progresiva. Le doy dos horas más de oscuridad cada día hasta llegar a 12/12, el día de mañana (05/08) será el primer día con el ciclo 12/12 por esto el periodo de floración a empezado el día 43 de vida de esta planta. Durante esta semana la planta creció bastante y todo va bien encaminado. Ahora solo queda esperar que todo siga así y esperar que las temperaturas con el led apagado no sean tan bajas. Cualquier recomendación sera bien recibida!! *Great White se mide en gramos. (Dosis: 1gr/3lt)

Had to ad in some more support. The girls are getting heavy. One of the buds took some heat damage 💔 😢 but all is good. Only got 3 feedings in with the overdrive and ran out. Funds are low so that's it. See how she grows lol.

Se ha formado una gran cola cargada de blanca resina y tiene un olor fuerte afrutado. 📅 Dia 64: Riego con nutrientes EC 1250, EC escurrida 1650. Comienza el lavado de raices... 📅 Dia 66: Riego con agua, EC escurrida 1200 📅 Dia 67: Riego con agua EC escurrida 450 📅 Dia 68: Riego con agua EC escurrida 380 📅 Dia 69: Riego final con agua EC 📅 Dia 70: meto a oscuras 48horas antes del corte. 📅 Dia 71: Mañana Día de corte.

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Que pasa familia, vamos con la primera semana de florscion de estas Gorilla Melon feminizadas de fastbuds. Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. Y ya superaron el shock provocado por el mismo trasplante. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨
